Very good for hospital, RMAS etc with free parking and shops close by.

Frimley Park Hospital has been like a second home to me over the years. My children were born there, my family have had many traumas here. My Grandfather died there, and so on. What I can say though after years of waiting here, having operations, appointments, talking to staff, knowing staff personally and being a patient several times. It's definitely on the decline. The A and E department is very slow, dated, cramped, poorly organised and with terrible communication. The ED minors department is simply terrible. Waiting 4-6 hours before your seen by the first person and give a paracetamol is not uncommon in fact it's every time I've been lately. It's a shame but the place really is in need of a shake up!

It is now nearly 8 weeks since I had Green Light laser procedure on my prostate and I could not be more pleased. The results are excellent. Flow is greatly improved and UTIs gone. From the moment I registered to the moment I left I felt that I was treated with great professionalism and respect. From the surgical team led by Mr Emara to the nursing team I could have not wished for better. It is true that I was lucky enough to have been " upgraded" to the Parkside Suite which may have improved my stay. So thanks to all at Frimley. Why cant all hospitals be like this?

Rude receptionist in ENT. I was told to come here at 4.30pm by secretary. Receptionist in turn was abrupt and rude who knew nothing about it. The receptionist just scowled at me!

I have used this hospital twice (both times through A&E) and both times the service has been absolutely fantastic. Good communication throughout, fantastic nurses and just a thoroughly pleasant experience (given you are in A&E! ). This is how every hospital should be run. Well done Frimley Park!

I have been in this hospital on many occasions, and they always make me feel safe and well looked after. Very good hospital. There are clear routines in place for patient care and cleaning, and everyone sticks to them, that seem to be a little lacking in some of the other hospitals I have been in.

Went to a and e twice very disgusted with the place. All they do is send everyone over to minors no matter what the problem is it's just so they can keep there numbers and waiting time down in a and e. Once you are in minors none of the staff have a clue proper useless. I was born with my feet turned round which I had corrected when I was a young baby. I am now 45 and lost have my left leg about a year and a half ago. I now suffer with my right ankle. I went to a and e as I fell where my ankle gives way. I was sent to minors and told nothing was wrong. Second time I went there my consultant told me if it gets worse go to a and e. I went to a and e in great pain and my ankle swollen and a funny shape. Again I was sent to minors where they told me nothing was wrong and that my ankle was perfect. Its never been perfect since the day I was born. Now last Thursday I go to see my consultant who is no amputating my right leg as my right ankle is in a state and can not be repaired. So my point is how can minors in a and e tell me my ankle is perfect and nothing is wrong. Frimley park a and e is a joke and they don't care for the poeple coming in who need treatment all there interested in is numbers and waiting time so it looks good on paper. The a and e didgust me.

This rating is for accident and emergency dept only. Got there about 20.45 with my partner a very experienced nurse, she accompanied me as I felt bit unwell and had bought up blood indoors, earlier at about 17.00 I had choked on some rice whilst eating. At reception where the staff looked totally disinterested in everything I explained my problem, first question was have you had alcohol today to which I replied yes so the staff member then replies I'll put it down as alcohol related, I strongly objected to that and told her so. Waited an hour to see a nurse in a waiting room where you were lucky to get a seat and then back into waiting room where we shared one seat, the place resembled something you would see in some poor country, I had a pregnant woman opposite me in a great deal of pain but no help from anyone. After another 90 minutes of waiting to see a doctor I fell to my knees and bought up 500 mils of pure blood, my partner went straight to the reception desk where all they could say was he is line to be seen. My partner (nurse) then complained and was adamant I got seen straight away and thanks to her I was taken through. Stay with me because this is where it gets interesting, I get my sats taken and different people come along to view the bowl of blood I bought up in the waiting room, a senior doctor then reassures me although it looks scarey it's normal from a tear and I can be discharged and then he's off.

Fantastic hospital, rated very highly. Staff are very helpful and friendly even with the workload. An amazing example of why people love the NHS.

Very poor. After two and a half hours waiting at 10.30 at night eventually left without seeing a doctor or getting anyone to look at my daughter's injury. My eleven year old daughter was nipped by a little dog that left a small but deepish gash in the right eye lid. Uncertain as to whether it would scar without a small stitch I took her to A&E at Frimily Park at 8.00pm for a quick assesment as to whether a stitch was needed. We were unable to get just 10 seconds with anyone who would say yes or no. After two and a half hours at 10.30 at night with my daughter collapsing from fatigue and hunger having been at school until 7pm (school play) and nothing to eat since lunch I took my daughter home. Having lived all over the world this was my first experience of UK NHS, I have been treated better in third world countries. Appalling.

Great hospital with very friendly staff who care so much about there patients and do show that care and support.
