Pancakes are heaven on a plate. Very busy in peak hours but well worth the wait. The fancy bacon sandwich, halloumi hash amongst other temptations are also delicious.

1st visit very impressed food was delicious.

I absolutely love this place, it’s my favourite place to eat in Rye. I usually go for brunch, fancy bacon roll, oat milk latte and a landgate lifter… my idea of heaven xx.

What a great find. Been to Rye loads of times and first visit here. Lovely lunch. I had the halloumi hash which was to die for. We resisted the cakes but I wish we hadn't. Good service. Food was amazing. Thank you so much.

Fantastic Eggs Benedict! Two eggs! Great hollandaise sauce! Loads of smoked salmon! Could also choose bacon instead.

We dropped in for elevenses and came back for lunch. Excellent food and friendly service. The sourdough bread is particularly good. Maybe breakfast tomorrow?

A fantastic hotel with very friendly staff, nice room and posh, delicious breakfast. Location is middle of high street so easy to access bar/restaurants/shops.

The best Coffee I’ve had and the menu is great for healthy eaters (and not so healthy if you like cake! )

My first time here today. Amazing eggs Benedict (the bacon was divine! ) and one of the best mochas I’ve ever had. Only slight niggle was the lack of a place to change the baby, however it wouldn’t stop me highly recommending or coming for another visit.

I came in recently and asked for a cup of lemon and ginger tea. As they didn’t have any tea bags in this flavour they made me a pot using fresh lemon and ginger … wonderful tea and great service.

The style is modern and clean. Lots of period features retains. The food was poor value for money overall. The ham sandwich was enjoyable but the salad, from the display counter, lacked flavour — just a mix of grilled vegetables put together. The banana slice was slightly dry. Perhaps, this could be avoided if the loaf was sliced as and when required. Good coffee. The staff was smiley and helpful.

An amazing variety of sweet and savoury treats, menu leaves your mouth watering in anticipation and making the choice for the tastiest dish is hard as they all sound so good. Nice to see dietary requirements are considered and more options to choose from than the average caf. Three unique rooms to sit down and experience what the White house has to offer is refreshing (even thinking of those who are not so keen on music have a music free room) and forward thinking to those already established cafes along the street. Go for gold and tickle those tastebuds!
