Great Food, Impeccable Staff and a well decorated and friendly atmosphere.

We first went to The George Inn for a drink on the way home from Hastings. The food looked so good that we booked to go back with my Mum for lunch two weeks later. Lovely staff, beautiful welcoming pub and the food was well worth the 90 minute drive. Will definitely return.

An absolute must visit pub! Super attentive staff, great food and drink. Really nice rooms with huge beds. Really looked after throughout our entire stay. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Just to say a huge huge thank you to the George Inn and all of the superb staff — who made Nikki and Paul's wedding day celebrations such a great success! Fantastic food, lovely ambience in the George and the wine (and a few other drinks! ) flowed endlessly and we even had shotskis… Wow! Good job guys — the bestest!

Fabulous, fun and friendly pub, chock full of character! The walls covered in antique paintings! There's a pool table and an exotic garden!

A really lovely place to stop for dinner. Staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was tasty. The menu options were excellent and it was quite difficult to decide what to have! The children's menu was good too. Highly recommended.

Stayed last night at this gorgeous pub. Very atmospheric place with beautiful rooms. Rooms really high standard and well maintained. Had a delicious meal and we were made to feel very welcome particularly arriving late with a hungry 1 year old. Real personal service by the owners. Breakfast all delicious local produce and our vegan diet was excellently catered to. Highly recommend!

Great food, excellent attentive service and the friendliest landlady. After getting very lost on our walk to the pub, she very kindly offered us a lift back to our AirBnB after our meal!

We decided to treat the children to a lovely late afternoon meal last Saturday. My husband had a drink whilst I the to die for fish and chips. It was great to go somewhere and be able to get gluten free fish and chips too! We sat out the front and basked in the sun at the front of the pub, admiring beautiful Robertsbridge whilst the children tucked into something from the new menu. The children loved the mini roast that we ordered them and the crudités served as their starter kept the wolf from the door! For their pudding we opted for the fruit kebab. Well cooked, fun and healthy is how I’d sum up. We’ll be back!

Four Of us called in quite late one Saturday evening with our one year old grand-daughter. We had a very warm welcome from Jane, delicious food served very quickly and a very friendly atmosphere. Strongly recommended.

Lovely Inn in Robertsbridge. Great atmosphere and setting. Food very tasty and presented well but portions could be better. A bit too A La Carte for me for pub grub.

Overpriced food, small children running around everywhere even sitting on the bar top whilst their parents drink. A tiny concrete courtyard right next to a noisy high street full of people smoking is what is called 'outdoor dining'. Over priced and overrated.

Great food, great beer, all in relaxed atmosphere of a beautiful village pub. The landlady Jane & all the staff were very friendly and helpful & helped us make our weekend break special. Big thanks to Ollie who greeted us, got us settled in & even helped me get parked, cheers mate. I can’t recommend this place highly enough & look forward to going back again. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Local hangout in Robertsbridge. Good menu, variety of choices. Lovely, warm fireplace. Welcomes dogs.

After a long walk, a roaring fire and great selection of ales was most welcome. We were made to feel welcome too!

THE OWNER of this pub made a woman cry today it’s not on. If I spoke to your wife like you did to that poor women you would not like it. DO YOU SPEAK TO YOUR WIFE LIKE THAT? Do you speak to your customers like that? your a rude inconsiderate person that could of at least had a little compassion towards the lady that was trying to fix her car as she had broken down. If you don’t want people to use your car park then why don’t you invest in getting a chain to put across it rather than speaking to protential customers the way you do.

Great starter lovely mains pudding not great. Staff lovely nice to find a pub that love dogs.

Food, atmosphere and everything really. Very relaxed with really delicious fare. My stepdaughter's special birthday was thoroughly enjoyed by around 18 of us.

What a great little find for a bed and breakfast. Really friendly staff, nice rooms and a great breakfast in the morning. Stayed here whilst attending an event at Bedgebury Pinetum which was really close and easy to find. Would not hesitate to return as the staff made us so welcome. We stayed in Padyhame booked as a superior room which was very nice.

Amazing place. The food is very well cooked and the bedrooms are very clean and modern. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Roberts bridge.

Really impressed with the food actually. Staff can be a bit off but the chef is really good. Worth a visit.

Went for a meal when we were on holiday in Brightling on Tuesday evening. The staff were friendly but the meals were mediocre. I had lamb, which was cooked ok but the vegetables were quite soggy as if reheated. My friend had slow cooked pork and again it seemed as if the roast potatoes and meat had been microwaved as the crackling was soggy. My husband had steak and chips. The steak was great but the chips seemed very brown and seemed as if they had been reheated in a micro wave. It was a disappointment as the prices had lead us to believe it would be good. It was my friend's birthday and my birthday treat to him so not very happy.

A really comfortable night in a stylish comfy room, lovely and quiet so managed to get a good nights sleep. Great food and a welcoming atmosphere, liked all the locally sourced produce.
