Nice place by the sea and central location however the staff could be more prepared and organized during the breakfast service. There was no proper cleaning of the room during our stay.

Lovely and warm staff. Hotel was peaceful with a good breakfast and great cocktails all day! Beautiful view of the beach ad well! My partner and I will definitely be coming here again.

The place was very run down. Dirty carpets and armchairs in bedrooms. Shower cold and no room in bathroom. Windows wouldn't stay open as falling apart. One member of staff doing everything and we booked there best room in a 4☆ boutique hotel very very disappointed. Don't waste your money.

Deluxe double with seaview room. £120 a night with full English breakfast. Expensive but to be fair you would expect to pay that on July 01. Personally I think it's a little high. Room was fine but corridors were shabby and tired. No beer on tap. Only bottled. Drove past the hotel and the staff were standing on the steps outside the hotel hanging around. Nowhere to park. Not even on the side streets. Avoid Eastbourne at all costs if you have a car. Eastbourne is grubby and unpleasant with nothing to offer. Won't be going back… EVER. Reminds me of Catford-sur-la-mer.

Bought as a valentines day package Food was lovely, serving staff were brilliant and room was clean. However did not receive bottle of prosecco as advertised as part of the deal The subterranean jacuzzi room we stayed in was underneath the serving room and next to the stairs so didn't manage to get much sleep due to the noise throughout the night an early in the morning Also TV service was terrible Twice emailed the hotel after the visit with no response.

Spent a few days here in the Seaview room. Spacious room, clean, good breakfast and staff helpful and friendly. The lack of a lift made the ascent to our top floor room a challenge. We resorted to counting the steps to take our mind off of a potential asthma attack! But, in all seriousness, a very pleasant stay — a lift would have given them 5 out of 5.

Came here for a quick getaway and after searching on the Internet for some time chose this place. Wanted a modern looking place with extra facilities and that's exactly what we got. Stylishly decorated with friendly staff. Our room was smart and comfortable with a jacuzzi bath and double shower. All this was at a very reasonable price too.

It's the best time I ever had. Nice view beach, sea, sunrise and memories of love. :-).

My girlfriend and I stayed here when we came down to Eastbourne to watch the Tennis and found the Waterside Hotel on the internet. We choose to stay here based on the look of the rooms on the website and backed up by positive reviews from Trip Advisor. I have to say the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was good and very resonably priced and the resturant was fantastic. I've been lucky enough to eat at some very good restaurants in the past but this was one of the best meals I've had and again very good service from the staff trhoughout our meal. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Eastbourne. Very happy we found it.
