What a miserable place! Location is amazing… hotel, is anything but that. Lobby looks like there is construction going on, even though there is non. Walls have scratches, marks and stains. There is a Red Mobility Scooter for rent in the middle of the lobby, right outside reception. Classy. People working at the reception were very polite and accommodating. After mistakenly giving us a smoking room, we were relocated to the 5th floor (room 552 I believe) non-smoking room. Room is old. It needs a major face lift. Our double bed was 2 smaller beds pushed together :) First night after taking a shower we received a knock on the door. A hotel maintenance guy advised us that downstairs room had water coming from the ceiling. He came in to see if there was anything leaking. He checked inside toilet tank, around the shower, behind the toilet. No leaks anywhere. We were advised to "be careful, and keep an eye out for any leak". Second night after taking a shower we received angry visit from Martin, maintenance manager. When I opened the doors, his hands were in the air and he was shouting that "people below are getting flooded by us". He stormed in the room, pushed my boyfriend out of bathroom and looked around. Again… no visible leak. We told him that shower head was spraying water, so if there is a leak, then its inside the wall. Martin got extra angry.
