When the current owners have completed the ongoing refurbishment will give it 5☆, enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

We visited in September 2016 — Hotel was very outdated, some of it needed some serious maintenance and the gym/swimming pool wasn’t very clean and almost looked forgotten about. Might have changed in this time however before we visited the photos made it look great but on arrival it was quite the opposite — go at your own risk I suppose.

The gym is a friendly place. Staff are really welcoming and helpful.

We stayed here 3 nights in poor weather in march. It is comfortable and clean. The pool is fine and the gym is well equipped. The breakfast was perfect and we had dinner there one night in the Moroccan themed restaurant. Food was very good with good size portions. Great stay and would go back.

Warm and cosy. Comfortable bed. Breakfast staff very polite.

Great place to spend some nice time on our honeymoon.

Gym is great especially if you like martial arts swimming saunas, and all that. Very good.

After only just over 24hrs at La Trelade Hotel we find excellent service from every one of the staff. The food is excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Room is very comfortable and offers all expected facilities. Conveniently situated on bus routes. Plenty of parking if you drive. Well worth staying here. Mal Bratton.

Rooms and staff are nice. Restaurant leaves much to be desired. Not many rooms with walk in shower.

Toilet doesn't flush when it should now it's beginning to stack up.
TV doesn't work.
Extractor fan in bath doesn't work.
Lift doesn't work.
Staff are nice.
Owner doesn't give a fuck.

I am staying here right now for 1 night. They have given me a room with a TV that doesn't work, and no-one available to fix it. Not the best hotel I've stayed in.

We did have a pleasant stay in Guernsey. And especially in this hotel where the people were very nice!

Hard bed, variable temperature not controllable by us. Good food at reasonable prices.

I travel to various places around the UK for work, and this was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Yes, the gym and swimming pool facilities are great but everything else was very disappointing. The electric was turned off the first day I got there from 10am until 4pm for maintenance reasons, I wouldn't have minded if I had been notified prior to booking but I wasn't told until it happened. I was waiting for an hour to be served at breakfast, whilst other people that arrived after me that were being served first. And the most disturbing part of my stay was the woodlouse that crept into my bed. Would not stay in this hotel again unfortunately and would not recommend to anyone travelling to Guernsey.

This is a lovely hotel. Staff were amazing and very helpful, food was great. Definitely coming again. Great links on the bus route. Swimming pool is the warmest on the island according to the locals who I spoke to there and other islanders regard this as a well known and nice hotel. Wi-Fi was a little dodgy in places but wasn't there to spend time on Internet. Will be coming back 100%

My wife and I stayed 4 nights and was very impressed with this hotel. Room was comfortable and v clean which was cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and excellent service from staff. Ate in restaurant on 2 nights which again offered a varied menu, excellent service, all at reasonable prices. Thank you all at La Trelade, would not hesitate to stay again if ever we are in Guernsey again.

Great hotel. Rooms good. Staff excellent nice breakfast lovely pool.

We would never stay here again, the swimming pool was freezing cold, the ceiling looked like it was going to fall down, the changing rooms was filthy dirty, you had to walk though the gym to get into the pool, the hotel staff didn't care if you was there or not, plus there was a young rugby team of kids staying there and there was no control over the kids running around screaming and kept knocking on your doors. The hotel needs modernising all round.

The plan of the pool, changing rooms is not very good. From the ladies changing room one has to walk through the middle of the gym to the pool. On return after swimming then showering one has to walk wet through the middle of the gym back to the changing room.
The pool itself was very nice & the surrounding area was clean. There is a small infra red mini sauna by the pool which advertises treating backs. Special tokens are needed to operate it & it took the receptionist 3 days to obtain a few of them. Apparantly the Health & Beauty suite is under new management. There are signs placed all around the pool telling people that diving & jumping into the water is not allowed. In spite of this there were children jumping into the water. No one came to the pool to make sure that everything was alright. There was one camera & the person on duty should have spotted this from his desk.
The roof of the pool was partially glass which allowed the sun to warm up the the surrounding area. There is a veranda just outside the pool which is probably lovely to use in the summer months.

Nice clean hotel located close to the airport, great for a stay on Guernsey for business or pleasure.

Just been up for a PT assessment and it was so good, very informative and such a friendly place. Would recommend people go up and look around (contact Paul). I feel the best I have done in months.

Wifi connection was a little spotty in our room, but it was really nice there, the pool is good and the breakfasts were amazing!

Very Dirty, Tired, Rude and Uninterested Staff, Breakfast Poor and Really Noisy Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in, reception staff blatantly lie, Owner isn't interested when you have a issue, your paying a fair price to stay in this hotel you expect a comfortable stay This place should be closed down or over hauled either way I suggest avoiding at all cost's.
