We finally got to eat here at last, after several attempts scuppered by COVID. It was worth the wait, we all enjoyed our meals, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Big portions. Lovely staff and reasonable prices. We have already booked our return visit.

The food is gorgeous here, tastes delicious and beautifully presented. Service is fantastic. Love it here!

The property needs a major update, We normally don't stay in a B&B's and I feel it is more suitable for a footy trip away, but in saying that the owner was very friendly.

What a wonderful place food was excellent and the host was so nice and very helpful.

Our stay was very nice the we where happy with the room and we had a very nice welcome, breakfast overall a very happy time I will be more than happy to stay there again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely clean and comfortable well equipped rooms, friendly staff and superb food, great Tapas in the evening and a full Welsh to die for. Would have mo hesitation in staying again.

Loved this homely B&B! Right on point budget wise. Lovely people. And wow that breakfast!

Great meal was had here, but we didn't stay, shame because it looked very nice.

We keep going back for the draught Peroni and tapas so it must be good.

Haven’t stayed in the hotel but go for food every week. They serve Tapas which is very good. Family run hotel, owners have a great sense of humour and a good selection of wine.

Really love this place, great food, the Tapas is second to none, great atmosphere and so cosy, been several times and can only say it's a little hidden treasure.

We always have a warm, if not cheeky welcome from Helen, Jodie (Flopsy) and staff with hubby John slaving away in the kitchen. Food is excellent with plenty of choice to suit everyone, portions are a good size so have never managed a dessert yet but I'm sure they're equally fab. John regularly creates new dishes tempting you back, prices are good as well

My partner and I stayed overnight on Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely the bed was really comfy had a beautiful sleep. What really surprised us was all the little touches (the tissues, the cotton buds and the cleansing pads). The food in Whispers was gorgeous can recommend the paella. We enjoyed our stay so much we have cancelled our stay in November at another establishment to stay at the Aberthaw House Hotel. Looking forward to our stay and seeing you all again xxx.

A quite charming, very friendly and comfortable small hotel I really enjoyed my stay, even had a sea view. The hotel boasts a Spanish restaurant good bar with continental lagers and quality wines reasonably priced also serves great homemade pizza as well. Nice breakfast with home made marmalade and jam.

First time trying tapas and it was quite nice. The squid was lovely and enjoyable, could have eaten more. The land lady is very nice and ensures you want for nothing. The room was clean and tidy and value for money. The poor selection of real ales was the only downside for me on my short visit.

The baby squid simply cooked to perfection lots of flavour.

First class staff. First class breakfast. Clean and friendly.

Really nice. Clean, well equipped and great food and service.

Small, basic but clean room with a decent bathroom. This is an average B&B at a reasonable price. Breakfast was great and the staff terrific.
