Just love staying at Riverwood, returned for another stay this weekend and I can’t recommend it highly enough. We enjoyed the most amazing evening meal on Saturday evening, every course was delicious! Breakfast each morning is cooked to perfection. Rooms are all amazing, super comfy bed and amazing bathroom. If you are looking for somewhere luxurious to stay where you are well looked after in fantastic location then Riverwood is the place! 5 stars from us ⭐️

We couldn't wish for a better place to stay. Riverwood Strathtay was absolutely perfect. Ann and Alf are lovely and attentive hosts. Superb breakfast, extraordinary cleanliness, quiet and peaceful location. Literally the best B&B we've been to.

Stunning, peaceful location. The place is clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was fantastic and we very much enjoyed the privacy that the design of the house gave us. The owners were excellent hosts, we will definitely be back!

This is our second visit and cant recommend it highly enough. Alf and Ann’s house is decorated throughout to a high standard and the location is exceptional. We will be back again.

We stayed at Riverwood as part of our honeymoon and had a great time. The house and it's beautiful grounds are ideally situated on the River Tay just across the river from Grantulley, which is definately worth a visit for the 'The Highland Chocolatier' & 'The Inn on the Tay', both within walking distance. It is also within short driving distance of Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Pitlochery amongst many other places of interest. Our hosts, Anne & Alf couldn't have made us feel more welcome, inviting us into their home, and the little details they put on everything, it really did feel like a home away from home. The room was perfect and had everything you could expect readily available. Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable — sitting at one of the window seats with the red squirrels, pheasants and other wildlife wandering around the garden, the food and service was top notch too! We will definitely be back to continue our northern adventures!

Such a great place to stay, waking up with the squirrels outside and the view of the river just outside the door is fantastic. Alf was lovely and does a brilliant breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean and just so well done. A perfect rest and recuperation retreat away from it all.

Beautiful food, beautiful rooms and beautiful location. Would be impossible to find a better place than this to stay.

We are leaving tomorrow, after a wonderfull week in Riverwood Strathtay. Such a relaxing atmosphere (slept like a baby! ) it's clean and simply so pleasant. A home away from home!
The owners are just great. Alf is there when you need him for tips etc, and Ann is a real good cook. Fresh fruit for breakfast, English cheese, pancakes, omelet etc etc.

Fantastic place for a relaxing weekend Food beautiful, service great, rooms are beautiful and scenery, views and wildlife fantastic. Would highly recommend this fantastic place. Greeted immediately and shown around Ann and Alf's fantastic B&B, situated in a very picturesque location right next to the River Tay. Plenty of things to do in and around the area so we were kept busy. Our room was immaculate and catered to our every need. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety to cater to just about anyone. Would highly recommend and I have no doubt that we will be back again.

Very nice secluded location with good access to local attractions such as castle Menzies. Beautiful room with ensuite, tasty breakfast included, gardens to look round with red squirrels and birds. Very good service.

Perfect setting, wonderful owners and fantastic breakfasts! An excellent base to explore! Rooms were warm and cosy, I especially liked the under floor heating in the bathroom! Beautifully decorated throughout to a high standard. Good selection of hot drinks and snacks in the room and an added bonus of a fridge with fresh milk everyday. A wonderful selection for breakfast along with a stunning view across the Tay. Alf and Ann were warm and friendly and along with the settIng it made our stay one to remember! We will definitely be returning!

This is an amazing place to stay. The hosts are attentive without being intrusive. The food is a culinary feast prepared to the highest of standards. Faultless in decor and cleanliness. You stay a night and never want to leave. Tranquil — heaven on earth.
