While visiting Broughty Ferry for the weekend with family the most time spent was in the fort bar and lounge. We picked the right weekend to go as live bands on all day and night all weekend. Bbq's in the beer garden. Great bar staff. All the staff at The Fort were lovely and very friendly polite and professional. The Beer Garden was beautiful too. Food was excellent. Cannot fault it atall. Would recommened The Fort to my friends. Defo 5 star treatment. Will be back soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A family lunch. Tasty food. We chose a variety of mains from the extensive menu which were served together by friendly, efficient staff. We will be back!

Really helpful and friendly staff, Holly was our server and nothing was too much trouble. Water bowls and biscuits for the dogs. Great food with large portions. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing would recommend this place to anyone. Dog friendly even brings the dog a bowl of water on a hot day like today. After being turned away from jollys quick friendly service.

Had my 30th birthday meal here, had family each sat at their own household table and managed a socially distanced meal while all at separate tables in the beer garden. Staff were brilliant and done so well accommodating this within government guidance!
Everyone was pleased with how this turned out, thank you to all the staff working last night.

Great layout staff all knew what they were doing, lots of money has been spent in the beer garden, letting all customers feel safe and able to enjoy a meal out. The young waiters and waitresses were very friendly and welcoming, and as for the food could honestly say best meal we’ve had in a long time. Haven’t visited many restaurants since Covid but would definitely recommend here.

Just had a delivery from John, absolutely faultless! He changed the tonic to match our taste, gave us advice about wine to order and in our delivery was a bag of the amazing nuts you get in the wine spa.
We will definitely be ordering again.

The choices of wine and drinks are excellent. The prices are so competitive and sometimes far better than you can buy at dedicated wine stores. The delivery service that John is providing is first class. It’s great to be able to support local establishments and so good to be able to select and have delivered (at no additional costs) wines which are far superior to what the supermarkets have to offer.
I suggest that all locals in the Ferry area should support the Fort and get ordering on a weekly bases.

Good service lovely meals.

The bar staff were lovely but the food was a big disappointment, chilli nachos.

There’s always fun at the Fort with regular karaoke and DJs as well as some live music events throughout the year. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. Always a well stocked bar, there is also a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I’ve had several dishes from the bar menu and their half portions are perfect if you want to try and manage 3 courses!

Highly recommend the Fort as I like going to places with Karaoke without the bother from Drunks getting into fights. Or having drink getting spilled all over the place or you. It has a good Atmosphere and you are Guaranteed to have a good time.

Stayed 4nights and I love it. I had been 2yrs ago for lunch and the food was very good. Came to stay and I couldn't be more happier with the service. Staff are friendly and very efficient. The rooms are clean and tidy, recently updated so they look more modern and fresh. I would highly recommend this Hotel to everyone. It's a minute away from the beach.

Golfing holiday stayed again at the fort Excellent hotel and staff.

Lovley clean large room people friendly and food nice at the restaurant.

Go there often for a meal and always have the steak usually really nice but didn’t enjoy it today seemed a bit grissly my granddaughter had the same and she thought the same the rest of the meal was fine but left some of the steak service was a bit slow as well and it wasn’t that busy.

Wouldn't hurry back. Waited a long time for our food and wasn't totally correct when it arrived, having had to prompt the waitress to go and get the rest of our order (nearly halfway through our meal). Fish was very Good, as was macaroni, Cajun chicken baguette VERY disappointing and prawn salad looked very uninspiring. Being a chef it was very easy to see where corners were being cut to save money so wouldn't say it was very good value for money.

Great service, great food, I had a small steak pie portion, which was excellent and a fairly substantial portion, just great all round.

Went in the bar last night but swiftly left again, the place was crawling with drunk underage girls. Was seriously shocked as to how young some of them were! Il not be returning.

It's not the best bar in Broughty Ferry by far but it's open late which people like. Sadly, due to that it's also not the cheapest. Later on at night it gets incredibly busy and it's not that big. It also attracts a very young crowd. Definitely better places to go.

Great food, having the option for half-portions was ideal and the staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere too.

Had tea here on 23/12/17 and had the Breaded Haddock as I often do and the fish was cooked perfectly as it always is. However about halfway thru I started getting bones in my mouth and could not clear my plate as I always do. The nice young server went of to speak to the manager who sent her back to tell us that basically it was the Fishmongers fault. NO recompense whatsoever offered I am very dissapointed as we come here regularly and I will never eat the fish here again.

First Christmas meal today, lovely. I only had a half portion but was plenty. Never disappointed with the meals here. Also easy access for disabled.

We go to The Fort Hotel alot to eat out. Love their food, staff are always friendly approachable smiling and helpful no matter when we visit. One of the best if not the best in Broughty Ferry xx.

It's a Cousy place to stay with some character the pup is good and they have nice Italian food.

I was merely there for a drink. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The bar has all the usual drinks and more. Good pricing in place. I was there on a quiet Wednesday. Plenty of seating in the lounge. The bar here does get very busy at the weekends but there is always good craic.

Great menu. Lots of choice and most available on half portions. Really nicely decorated, comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Our visit was for lunch.
