Great hotel very modern and clean.

I tried to book this hotel for myself and my disabled son. They could not be more unhelpful towards disabled people and their carers. I have stayed in many hotels and have never faced the barriers this hotel has put in place for disabled guests. Their "accessible" rooms only have double beds. They can not be split like other hotels do. The beds are screwed to the walls and can not be moved. They say they do have adjoining rooms for a carer at full cost. So for 1 disabled guest and 1 carer they will charge you for 2 rooms unless you want to share a double bed! Holiday Inn offer a free carer room and some have ceiling hoists or will hire a hoist for you. Travelodge even made an accessible room into a family room once for us and helped move all furniture around to make it roomy and comfortable. Premier Inn will separate the beds and provide elephant feet to facilitate use if a mobile hoist and some of their hotels have ceiling hoists. Radisson Blu and the Hilton also make reasonable adjustments. This is the first time we have ever faced so many barriers and we will not be staying there. If you are a disabled person with a carer/parent or sibling carer or friend and don't want to share a bed then give this hotel a wide berth unless you are happy to fork out for 2 rooms.

Very comfortable nice drinks and the barman was the high light of our visit he was very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you will definitely be back as that was our first visit.

We had room 439 great view, beds are really comfy. The room was spacious and equipped with everything you need. My only concern I had was upon check-in you need to go up to the 2nd floor and the reception desk is right at the lifts so be careful when coming out as there were quite a few people Infront of us. The hotel is local for all amenities and central if using as a base. We were only there for 1 night so unfortunately didn't sample the restaurant but breakfast did smell amazing if ever back in Dundee would certainly be back👌

Fabulous stay. Staff really nice. Rooms spacious. We had a twin (double and a single). So comfortable. Quiet. Lovely breakfast from continental to cooked items. Delicious. Sat in bar/lounge for a drink. Very comfortable. Covid rules adhered to. Will definitely book again.

Fantastic overnight stay with amazing views from the top floor superior rooms, staff were so friendly and welcoming, we didn’t travel far for our staycation but would definitely do it again.

Clean and modern hotel right opposite the V and A. Very central for the town. Cant fault anything.

Centrally located, less than a 2 minute walk from the city centre, rooms are minimalist but comfortable!

Really great hotel near to everything.

Room was clean and new. Stayed here almost 2 weeks in two different rooms. Minor facilitees issues. Mostly im sure due to how new the hotel is. In the first room bedside reading light didnt work. In the second the a/c would stop working after a few hours and refuse to come back on. The control for the a/c only allowed a few settings to be changed so no way to fix it. Besides waiting 30 minutes and turning it back on… most annoying around 3 am.

Great hotel, excellent location, great staff! My partner and I have just spent 4 nights at this hotel and could easily have stayed longer. The lady who initially greeted us at reception upon arrival was very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. The lady (Margaret I think) who greeted us each morning at breakfast was lovely. The breakfast choice was good and the cooked breakfast was always hot. Breakfast is £7.95 is booked in advance, and given the price of the room itself, and the extra price for parking, it is a reasonable total price for a bed and breakfast basis. The room was more than big enough, despite some of the reviews I have read on here to the contrary. The bathrooms were adequate and we loved the shower! The rooms were spotless in decor and cleanliness and were cleaned each day without fail. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is great and service in there is excellent. There is a great view from the bar/restaurant and a cosy feel aroud the fire. The Greengate multi-storey which the hotel recommended and on which they give a 25% discount (make sure you leave the car park within 30 minutes of having your parking ticket validated) is an easy, short walk from the hotel. We had a brilliant stay in Dundee, a great city to visit and well placed as a base for visiting other parts of Scotland, and the outstanding staff and beautiful hotel give me no hesitation in giving it 5 stars. We will definitely be visiting again.

Modern Hotel with spacious rooms and a mattress and pillows of a very good quality, which guarantee you a great night's sleep, good breakfast, although it misses a natural juice and a bit more of variety. An excellent location and everything new and modern are your strengths, as weak points are its lack of parking and that the windows of the rooms have no possibility of opening. In general, a site recommended to stay in Dundee.

Great modern hotel right above station but couldn't hear trains at all. Loads of good quality eateries and things to do right on the doorstep. Good free internet and TV with apps like iPlayer and screen mirroring. Good comfy beds (we had a family room with a double and 2 bunks). We missed breakfast but lunch food good (I think £7 for tuna sani, salad and tortilla chips or £10 for a burger and chips)
