The Mission Bunkhouse has ALWAYS been a good place to stay, with good facilities and very friendly staff. Very convenient place to stay too! :-)

A great place to stay it's immaculate and the people who run it are very friendly. It's right next to the ferry terminal for the small isles so perfect.

Can't fault this place at all, best location, friendly owner, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds. Booked a bed in an 8 bed dorm and was pleased to get a 2 bed room to myself instead. Great value and recommend staying here.

Nice hostel in central location in Mallaig, across the street from the railway station and on the way to the ferry terminal. Close to the co-op and many pubs and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Mission Bunkhouse. The room and bed were extremely comfortable. The manager on site was extremely welcoming The common areas are extremely well kept The location is also very convenient as it's literally opposite the train station and close to shops. I would definitely stay here again. A+++

We arrived on the steam train to visit this wee town, pleasantly surprised by this wee pub, ordered mussels and a pizza, both arrived piping hot and neither of us could finish our portions. Had a pint of local ale too, very tasty. Definitely recommend this place.

Nice little restaurant and bar.

We stayed in the accommodation here for one night last week, before catching the early ferry the next morning. Things were a but chaotic checking in late past the busy bar. But the barmaid was lovely, took our payment efficiently, and showed us to our room. This was spacious, with brand new fittings and a lovely bathroom. There was even a fridge with fresh milk, a lovely touch. Highly recommended, great place to stay.

No service, waitresses rude, poorly polished, aggressive and who prefer talking and laughing with each other rather than to serve the clients or even to say hello. The waitress has insulted us for drinking water in our bottle to take medication while she never came to serve us. In addition, we had even when consumed before. Outside catering service hours, we released a mini bag of chips then after finished it the waitress came we attack and insult us because it did not, but when I wanted to order some food she refused. After which she ordered us to leave the facility on the fields and shouting in front of customers. And the icing on the cake she has insulted and imitated other clients and colleagues under our eyes, thinking that we didn't understand. Run away!
