Lovey clean hotel, in a great location. Very friendly staff and we had a superb meal.

I recently visited the North Kessock Hotel for my Mother’s birthday along with 5 other members of my family. While the majority of us enjoyed our meal and the service unfortunately my mother suffered severe food poisoning a few days later following her meal which was the ‘Kessock Hamfull’ which consisted of sea food and roast honey ham. As a medical professional I can completely ascertain that her violent sickness, which occurred 35 hours post meal, is related to the meal she ate here. On calling the restaurant to primarily ensure the dish was suspended from the menu pending an investigation in to the kitchen and ingredients, I was met with completely unjust rude customer service and care. Not only was I abruptly passed to the chef from the manager who claimed to have no knowledge of the activity in the kitchen, I then found myself being told that under no circumstances could it have been the food. Now understandably he may have felt threatened as I was questioning the food however as I calmly explained that it is something that needs looked in to, regardless of who was running the kitchen, I was again rudely dismissed. I was then passed back to the manager and told if my mother returned to the restaurant she would be allowed one free meal. After spending nearly £200 on my previous visit and the nature of the night being a birthday celebration I was disappointed at the lack of care and consideration of the valid points I was making.

The food was good. Wi-Fi had good strength. Bar was well stocked.

Great place to have a very nice meal and drink. Had a really nice view. And the staff are always helpful and very polite.

It is a beautiful budget stay located right outside the town of Inverness. With such a brilliant view of the loch Ness and one of our prettiest mornings in Scotland I couldn't have asked for more. The host is also very chilled and will tell you about the back door entrance in case you've plans on hopping bars in the evening and you know you're going to be late. Damn sweet!

Fabulous hotel, wonderful staff, warm cosy yet modern room with lovely sea view, comfortable bed, scrumptious evening meal and breakfast. Good Wi-Fi connection. Peaceful. Couldn't ask for more! Was surprised how packed the restaurant was, but then we tasted the food… it was outstanding. Highly recommended.

We stayed here mid-October. The hotel and staff were very nice. It appears to have been recently updated. We would certainly stay there again! It was a very convenient location to drop off our rental car in Inverness and catch the train the next morning.

Great location, friendly staff, good food & fantastic large family room.

Nice atmosphere, good selection of drinks, friendly waiters, excellent food. The fish and chips are especially recommended. The location might be a little out of the way as you have to pass over the bridge and drive into kessock, but I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxed dinner.

Came for a bite to eat for dinner. Well priced wholesome food in a clean and modern dining area. Staff were friendly and would recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Having been stuck in a traffic Jam over the Kessock bridge we decided to turn back and find somewhere for lunch. We found this hotel which looked great. It was very clean looking and professionally laid out so we went in. The staff were very pleasant and the menu looked very good, but the food that came wasn't that good. My soup was good but the bread was uncooked (looked like the stuff you buy in the shops to put in the oven only it hadn't been). The other part of the meal was edible but nothing to write home about. It was maybe a bad day for them but I couldn't recommend.

A really good place to eat. Nice menu selection available. Portion size is very generous and quality of food 1st class. We always book as it's a very popular place to eat. Service provided by staff was fast and efficient and we were greeted with a smiley face and warm welcome. All in all, a very nice evening was enjoyed by everyone in our party.

Nice friendly hotel, redecorated recently and brought up to date, good food at reasonable prices and great quality. Great place to go for a meal and catch up with family and friends. Highly recommended.

Went for a bar meal on the 18th March to this quaint out of the way bar / restaurant in North Kessock. Friendly staff and good food, unfortunately it's a bit of a remote location to get to, so designated driver (me) was required. I had the steak and would certainly recommend a return visit.
