Wonderful and very thoughtful! The staff had been very considerate of my problems and even little things like needing a glass cup etc,. They had no problem at all to bring it out and give it to me. The rooms were wonderful and clean, ready for us and our arrival. We were late due to having a dog in the back and needing more breaks, they understood and despite being nearly an hour late they still accepted us. The morning breakfast is delicious and has a variety of options. To croissants to cereal. To warm eggs and bacon or sausages, to toast and jam. Coffee was available too as well as tea. I had also noticed while being away, they clean the rooms! Which surprised me! This holiday was a surprise for mum, for me it was only to get away from our tiring jobs and when I say we are rested and very happy, we mean it! The best part is, the hotel is right next to Lochness and we were able to adventure out, 15 to 30 minutes away from hotel with beautiful parks and views! Wonderful experience! Will be coming back later!

Great hotel, convenient location, really comfortable room and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price, and this was a buffet of both hot and cold food. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing to fault at all 10 out of 10.

we were leaving at 4.30 am great team on night reception. Made us bacon and sausage sandwiches for our 8 hour journey home.

Braw lovely clean room quiet setting near the motorway.

During this period, I recommend the hotel for the quietness of rooms and space and friendly staff. Can't comment on anything else as not a lot is available.

Great stay, had everything we needed in the room. Staff were all lovely and so helpful, Niamh was so good with my 10 month old girl. Definitely stay again.

Refused to be moved rooms when I asked due to noise in the next room, they said they would call the room and ask them to keep the noise down — result : MORE NOISE, I never want to stay in this cardboard walled place again!

Honestly, this hotel is amazing: the location, amazing, breakfast, amazing the service OUTSTANDING! I love it here! I strongly recommend it.

We stayed here for 3 nights.
Very expensive establishment for the room we got
There were 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child). 1 double bed (correct) and a folded bed sofa for which you could feel the springs (very uncomfortable).
We had good weather when we were in Inverness (we're not going to complain) on the other hand it was really hot in the room (warmer than outside) and you can't open the window more than qq centimeter (security issue). Suffice to say that we didn't sleep the first night. The next day we talked about it at the front desk. And the no reaction, no solution, no proposal to change the chamber, nothing. So other nights as bad as the first. (If we hadn't paid for the nights when we arrived we would have changed hotels)
In short: you pay a lot of money to sleep. What we couldn't do.

And for breakfast: avoid scrambled eggs that have the characteristic taste of powdered eggs.

At least it was a bed and free breakfast. Go eat across from front parking lot. No AC, poor quality room. SOME staff friendly, others not.

The rooms are super equipped. The staff is nice and friendly. Located just outside Inverness, it's very quiet.

In line with what you would expect from the hotels in this chain. Rooms clean, maybe a little sacrificed (especially for 4 people as we were), good breakfast. Out of the center, but on the other hand convenient for those in passing.

Worst Holiday Inn I have ever been in, with all staff it felt as though you were interrupting their duties and the service didn't exist and became a burden. Rooms were old and didn't feel clean and the bathroom was a joke, taps barely worked and the door either covered the toilet or covered the bathroom. Maybe it's a Scottish Holiday Inn but the breakfasts weren't anything like the English Holiday Inns. I love Scotland definitely not a Scottish thing it's a Holiday Inn decision.

We stayed for two nights, which coincided with the visit to Inverness. The hotel is on the outskirts, passing a sort of polygon. The reception works well, attentive and helpful. The right rooms; We went two adults and two kids and they put us in two comfy beds. Big TV, an LG, but it wasn't Smart TV. The right sink, with a functional and neat shower tray. Carpet on the floor of the hallway all downstairs. Breakfast, buffet free in conditions.

Arrived late due to being in hospital with my newborn. Booked standard room online then when arrived they only had twins which was fine then told we couldn't have a room as you can't out a travel cot in a twin. Left without accomodation and a five day old at 0100hrs in the morning. Ridiculous.

Was all going good at the night and then the next morning we woke up and the room was completely flooded because the shower was broken it had shorted a phone and soaked clothes and we went to the front desk to ask if they would tumble dry the clothes and the said they don’t have a tumble drier then my mum went through and all of a sudden they have one and they gave us the clothes back with a bag stating, “for your laundry” and not only that the clothes were not even dry and they really didn’t care that they have broken a phone with there dodgy shower seals! The police have visited our house, 64 miles from the hotel saying that the hotel said there was vomit everywhere? There was no vomit anywhere, won’t be staying there *ever* again!

Quiet location with excellent customer service. Looked after by Anne who could not have been more helpful.

Easy to check in, very friendly staff. Nice and clean room, room even came with a iron and ironing board which I found unusual for a Holiday Inn, as normally you have to request one. Bathroom very clean. Daily service with no issues, room tied back up fine each day. Would recommend. Great location next to a retail park with everything, from shopping to eat in, cinema and coffee!

Rooms and facilities are what you'd expect from a low budget hotel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food in the evening was much better than we expected (had tikka masala, delicious! ) Breakfast was okay, nothing special but not bad! Would stay here again!

I stayed at the Inverness Holiday Inn Express this weekend and it was not upto its standard. The shower I had to turn up to near full to get hot water. The hot water tap wa not that hot either. The windows in the breakfast area need a clean as all smeared. Some of the staff need to beable to smile and say good morning. It maybe better to put trays in the breakfast area like the do in other holiday inns.

Small hotel located on the outskirts of Inverness. Nothing out of the ordinary, is what you would expect from this hotel chain. It has good parking and the breakfast is included.

Loved our stay here, clean and comfy room with everything required. Breakfast good and I made use of the microwave for our evening meal, saved going out of the building.

Handy budget/mid-range hotel that in my opinion is a grade better than your typical TL or P. I. Chains, but can very often be cheaper priced, especially with advance bookings. This particular HIE is in a good location for the driving traveller, being just outside the city on the eastern retail park. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the included free breakfast was a full hot offering. On site parking, and also handy for/popular with the the Inverness Airport holiday-goer, given its specific location.

Comfortable hotel, good pub next door. Very friendly staff. Have stayed many times before and will definitely be staying here again. 15 minutes from the airport and 7 minutes from Inverness by car.

While it is somewhat away from the city centre, it is good value for money. However, I emphasized negatively that in our room when we opened the sink faucet, it smelled bad.

After staying in another hotel in Inverness the night prior, I had a better stay here, staff were very friendly, food in the Snow Goose was ok, breakfast started at 0630 and was good enough to start the day. Happy bunny.

Stay at Holiday Inns frequently, but found receptionist pleasant although he never acknowledged us when we arrived for about 10 mins after a long 6 hour journey whilst dealing with another customer, it takes 2 minutes to say hi I will be with you in a minute! No biscuits in room for a cuppa, £109 for the night, give a biscuit! Sofa bed was poor, breakfast ok but my god that waitress (blonde short older lady) my god I think I heard her sigh about 50 times and when I said to her that they had run out of forks you would think I had stabbed her dog in the eye as she shouted “I know! ” Wow only saying! She need to find a new job in life… one she actually likes! Not the best one I have stayed in, perhaps need a team building day at the Aberdeen Airport Holiday Inn as they know how to treat their customers!

Comfortable, classic Holiday Inn Express. For a family of four the room is a bit small.

Well Set out and a good place to stop over for a few days! Rooms are spotless and pleasant as is the bar/lounge and seating area. Breakfast is normal holiday Inn express deal but loads on offer and it's a nice relaxing start to the day. For my evening meal I went across the car park to " The Snow Goose" restaurant which is very good with an amazing choice of meals.

Efficient without being unwelcoming, basic but functional. Perfectly designed for a short stay on the way.

If you have stayed in one of these places you have stayed in them all. Entirely bland. Other than a few local scenes photos of Inverness you could have been anywhere. Nothing stood out apart from the free Wi-Fi being slow and unreliable. 40 minutes (not particularly pleasant) walk into Inverness centre along a busy road. It's a functional place.

Lovely clean and airy hotel. Very friendly staff in short a keeper and well recommended.

Clean, modern rooms. Great shower! Generous breakfast buffet. The room is a bit cramped with the sofa opened out for a bed, however, it was already open and made up when our family of four arrived. Very helpful staff.

Comfortable rooms of a good size, very friendly and helpful staff, basic breakfast but included in price.

The hotel is located near a retail park where there is a choice of retail outlets, restaurants and a cinema. It is a short distance from the town centre. Although it does not have restaurant in the same building, the nearest one is just yards away, across the car park. There are plenty of parking spaces. The room is very comfortable and feel very homely. The staffs are very helpful and pleasant. There is a wide range of breakfast items and if you are in a rush, there are paper bags to take away items and disposable cups for drinks.

We stayed 1 night and found room small / comfortable, reception staff were very good but breakfast was poor, no fried egg, no bacon, poor coffee machine and toaster. More selection for breakfast would make for a better stay.

Not able to provide a vegan breakfast nor identify anything on the menu suitable. I guess maybe just a spoonful of beans or tinned fruit and thats it! I rang in advance. BTW its the law — veganism is protected under Article 9 of the European Convention on Human Rights — the same that declares you cannot treat people with disabilities, gender or Race etc, eg Muslims differently. Looking specifically at food Socially, equality provisions mean that: • You have the right not to be treated unfairly or disadvantageously by any service provider because you are vegan. This includes the catering industry. You have the right to request and be provided with vegan food. This applies to hotels, airlines and other public transport.

Hotel chain Holiday Inn Express. Very spacious Hotel with a large number of rooms and with breakfast included in the price. Recommended.

Basic services but discreet overall comfort.

Very small rooms and bathrooms but clean and comfortable. Breakfast options are pretty good overall. Great close by restaurant to eat at called goose something or other.

It was very good quality all though one of the beds weren't made up which was disappointing.

Staff friendly and helpful, room ok and clean. Only problem was shower, it was either boiling or schorching.

Good enough for a hotel, but the price was outrageous, even for such a remote place. Bathrooms with chipped tile and mold should not cost £200+/night.

Ive always had an excellent stay here you get what you pay for.

Typical of the holiday Inn express. Neat, clean, modern, good hot and cold breakfast. But I have to downgrade to mostly friendly, eager to please staff as I met my first "less than accommodating" desk clerk tonight.

It is what it is. A typical HI Express. Comfy bed, decent bar and friendly staff. Breakfast isn't gourmet but it's sufficient for a complimentary one. Only real negative is Wi-Fi is pretty slow.

This place charges as much as full-blown Holiday Inns with their swimming pools and leisure facilities yet is nothing more than a bog-standard motel in not the best of locations. Not a patch on Travelodge or some of the other budget chains, and the continental breakfast (some stale croissants and cardboard toast) included in the room rate certainly does not justify the price.
