We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Scotland Honeymoon and couldn't recommend it enough. The rooms are very clean and spacious and had a great shower! Comes with a delicious breakfast and convenient parking. Customer service was great, staff couldn't do enough, Bar area is lovely with a large selection. Would definitely recommend and will be back when we revisit the area!

Lovely place. Clean rooms. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Extremely dog friendly. Would highly recommend. We came over from Skye for a night and will definitely be using again. 👍👍👍

Just had a 3 night stay at The Heathmount and what a fantastic hotel couldn’t fault a thing, rooms are beautiful and very modern, food is excellent and indoor bar area is fab as is outdoor area. Will definitely be returning guests and would highly recommend 💯 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍🏻

What an amazing hotel. Very very dog friendly, they can’t do enough for you and even gave my dogs fresh water at table, and the rooms are very stylish, clean.

One of the worst bar experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived at 2.30 to watch two euros games, spending hundreds of pounds on drinks and food. By the time the much awaited England Scotland game came on, the terrace was carnage. People staggering about without masks on, shouting and swearing including “you f***ing c***s” (totally unrelated to the football), constantly standing in front of the TV but not remotely interested in the game, smoking, vaping, chucking our bags off of chairs to take across the terrace without asking, even drinking their own bottles of vodka! Like a high school party. We got a taxi home at half time. The biggest waste of money. We specifically chose the Heathmount because it’s generally a nice atmosphere but we’d honestly have been better in Auctioneers.

Our second time staying at the Heathmount. Staff are all so friendly and helpful especially the lovely Arron who was only on his 2nd shift when we arrived. Rooms are spotless and modern. Food is amazing but a little pricey. Would highly recommend for wee break away in Inverness.

Beautiful room, great, super friendly staff that went out of their way to help make our stay at the hotel extra special. It was really nice to sit on the patio and watch the world go by while enjoying some refreshments… Great breakfast too!

Beautiful modern stylish hotel, room was large and had everything we needed, bed was comfortable. Food was good although the chef had trouble making hard poached eggs but the rest of breakfast was great, the seeded bread was yummy. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the river and town and reasonable priced. Will defiantly be back!

The bar staff ladies especially Megan, were fantastic and didn't mind me with my warped sense of being. Food was scrumptious. Our room 8 was just delightful. I could not fault The Heathmount.

Heathmount is good for just drinks but also good for food and lovely staff.

We did some 21st birthday celebrations on Friday night the evening was perfect, the food, drink & staff were brilliant. Thank you all for making it stress free & special thanks to Fiona for allowing us to celebrate their.

Excellent staff in the bar, kitchen, cleaning staff! food was absolutely delicious for breakfast and evening meal! but I'm sure lunch would have been amazing too if we had eaten there, rooms really nice and in a good central location with it's own car park and a HUGE array of gins! if you are thinking of going… do… you will not be disappointed.

Great service excellent atmosphere delicious food hard working staff especially Lyndsey and complements to the chef. In 30 years never had a bad meal. Well done all.

This is a review of the pub not the hotel. A great pub for a Friday night drink. Good bears. Great food (I had the burger and it’s a weapon) outdoor flame pits and they’ll give you blankets and covers for when it cools off. An outdoor TV for the footy and a massive electric canopy to shelter from the rain. One of the nicest pubs in inverness.

Kieran, Logan and Al are the loveliest boys ever, this place is a must visit. Eleanor isn't bad either.

Stayed for 3 nights, enjoyed the breakfast, very pleasant staff, coffee and marshmallow treat, can't wait to to back, will stay again.

Recommended by our Airbnb hosts in Inverness. Good food, good selection of drinks (especially local craft beer), friendly and knowledgeable staff, good prices, nice vibe and decor. We enjoyed it and came back a second time.

We are 2 bikers from Belgium Antwerp. We had a great stay at the hotel for 2 nichts. The room was supper! The bathroom ok! We had a good breakfast and the staf was verry friendly. It was easy to park our bikes in front of the hotel. In the bar you have a lot and good gin tonics! Every 2 years we come to Scotland and we will be back in this hotel in Inverness!

Excellent, vibrant and full of atmosphere! Lost point due to lack of soya milk or alternative yoghurt options for breakfast.

Thoroughly enjoyed this small hotel. The bar and restaurant are a happening spot for locals as the food is excellent and the drinks are crafted with skill. I would recommend the espresso cocktail — it'll get you buzzed in more ways than one! The rooms are cozy and our bathroom was among the most modern I've ever seen in a hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Had a nice stay on Saturday night. Bit disappointed my daughter had to sit while we ate and she couldn't get nothing off the menu, we chose to have our dinner in the hotel as it was easier and it did say on the menu yous try to accompany dietary requests. Was just told everything was pre made and that was it no let me ask the chef etc Didn't look pre made when it arrived. Also same at breakfast. No non dairy milks was told it was all done.

Excellent. I stay in alot of hotels around scotland with working for the railways and here is at the top of my list. Quirky decor that may devide opinion (I LOVED IT) very nice bar that seems popular with the locals, again which I like. Food was top notch but menu could be a bit on the short side if you were planning on a longer stay. If you usually stay in a travel lodge type hotel then this little gem may not be your cup off tea, but if you like something a little bit different and funky I would highly recommend here.

Nice vibe, pretty relaxed place for afternoon drinks or evening meals. The bar area has a couple of screens for sports too. On a sunny day, there's an outside area that you can watch sports or just have an after work drink.

Refurbished in February. Good selection on menu. Well cooked and tasty. Very friendly staff.

Was always a favourite place of mine to go for a meal however since their revamp the emphasis seems to more on prosecco/ cocktail guzzling. Removal of some of the carpeted area has also changed the acoustics for the worse. If you can put up with the noise from the bar it's still a good place to dine.

Great hotel. Affordable price for room and food. It has a bar as well to watch football matches. The room for 2 on the roof are small, but enough and the beds are really comfortable. Plenty of recommendations through book/flyers from the hotel about what to do in the surroundings and it is only 5 minutes walking from the river/castle.

Just went for a couple of pints on sat night and it was a nice quiet place with tables outside for smoking area)

We went there last night for a meal, and started with the soup of the day, this was very fresh and pleasant, however the mains were incredibly disappointing. My partner had ordered medium rare stake and received a well done stake, the waitress was nice enough to take it back to the kitchen and bring out a fresh plate, but this time the stake was literally raw. In the mean time I ordered the seafood pasta, I have to be honest and say the dish tasted alright, but it was clear it had been sitting for a while as the pasta was cold at the top and the sauce was more on the warm side. Overall a very disappointing experience given the prices and the reputation of the restaurant.

Staff where very accommodating and very professional The member of staff that was looking after us if I remember correctly his name was Darren. Made the visit very welcoming and will definately be back Thanks.

Sat outside to watch the football. It was lovely. Also had some snacks which were tasty. Recently refurbished and it's nicely done.

Dessert was lovely, and mains were good although basic. First time in Inverness. Beautiful setting.

Nice bar, recently redecorated to a pleasant modern standard. Good pool table with plenty room and a well decent outside area in a fine part of old Inverness.

Lovely interior great food however bar staff were a little rushed and didn't seem to untreated in helping with advice on accompliments for certain gins. All in all very nice and would definitely come again maybe when it's a bit quieter though.

Went for lunch on Saturday, place looks great and food was lovely. Chose to sit in the bar area where you order at the bar and then have your food brought over. Service was great. I would highly recommend it and will be a regular visitor.

The renovations are good. Unfortunately service was terrible. Went in for early evening meal. Told too busy to take bar orders. Finally got to order, food was good. Went to pay for said food and had to wait 20 minutes while bar staff totally ignored us. Should get people to pay for food when ordered if they can't cope with bar and food payments. Set up of bar is not customer friendly. Would recommend food but certainly not service. Will not be recommended!

Where to begin? Amazing staff from top to bottom, amazing breakfast, amazing bar, amazing room, and amazing location. What a quaint little hotel the Heathmount is, it's a small building with maybe 6 rooms, with a bar in the ground floor. The room was supremely decorated, large bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived until we left. Gave us restaurant suggestions, helped us get around the town and simply went above and beyond. The bar had a wide spectrum of local ales and whiskey. I had a Glenmorangie limited edition that I scoured Scotland for and was unable to find again. Always filled with very nice people and serving drinks till late. The breakfast, oh my the breakfast. Was introduced to the famous Highland breakfast and can now officially say I am in love with it. Sausage, black pudding, bacon and baked beans were all cooked to perfection. I woke up every morning looking forward to having breakfast at the Heathmount. Location was just a few minutes walk from city center. Value was very good compared to other places we stayed in Scotland and I absolutely without a doubt would recommend the Heathmount to anyone in Inverness. Seriously, one of the best Hotel experiences I've had to this day.

I visited the Heathmount on 1 Apr 17 to have dinner with a friend. Unsure what to expect, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was absolutely impressed. The food was delicious, the cocktails were excellent and staff were warm and welcoming. This ensured that that whole experience from food, to drinks, to conversation and laughs in the bar was excellent. I travel a lot and the Heathmount is one of few places I would be happy to award 5 stars to. A top pick for anyone passing though Inverness. Warm, fun and delicious!

Excellent food and service. Had a superb pasta dish for 8 pounds. A pint of Guinness was 3.70. So very good food and reasonable prices.

Pretty nice place. 2 courses prices start from £12. Range of menu is nice and taste is ok.
