Excellent all round. We stayed last weekend and from the first minute we arrived our host was perfect. The room was a good size, with the really useful addition of a multipoint extension plug with USB slots. The bed was very, very comfortable, although with the weather still being very warm we slept on top of the duvet covered by a blanket; the walls being the thick Highland standard stone built cottage means the building warms in the sun and retains heat, so the upstairs room that we had was toastie warm. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and the wee toiletries kit was a nice touch, as were the wee chocolates on the pillows one of which was nearly liquid by the time the wife realised she'd been leaning on it. The breakfast, ordered the night before and cooked fresh for your requested breakfast time, is heavily based on local produce and is lovely. Parking is off street and for all the adjacent road is a bus route it wasn't remotely loud enough to disturb us. In short, if we're back up north for any reason we'll check for a room here first. It's well worth the money.
