Great service, friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Room clean, if a little worn. Shower really good. Only issues were noise, could hear footsteps of people in room above, and chatting, snoring & TV of neighbouring rooms. Also, did not feel so secure with window opening onto roof where others can do the same and potentially climb out onto roof and into my room. Overall good though.

Good facilities and a nice walking distance to town.

Helpful staff, decor was dated, like my Grans house in the early 90's. Decent breakfast, had to request vegetarian sausages the day before as they don't normally do them, but they did on request.

Pleasant stay. Really nice breakfast. Would stop here again if I ever go back to Inverness.

I stayed for 5 night for a work related travel. Quite place. I like the 15 minutes distance from the town center. Interior is kind of rustic, but very clean. Superb breakfast and very helpful staff. Room was a bit hot, I had to reduce the heat in the radiator. No air-conditioning, so not sure how the summer stay will be.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff are great, hard working, polite while maintaining a friendly approach. Managed by Neil who is professional, on the ball but with the right degree of welcoming friendliness. Breakfast is one of the best in the many countries I have travelled. I would not pass this hotel for four or five star ones. The restaurant is located in vely with the food being of an excellent variety and scrumptious. The pool, spa and beauty parlour give you everything you need on site. The rooms are of the best quality and you can choose from the main hotel or the annexe. Clean and fresh. There is an ongoing upgrade programme and you see differences each time you go. Highly recommended as it is a ten minute walk from the town centre.

So far so good! Booked for the weekend and on our first night we have simply been overwhelmed with how lovely and attentive the staff are! Like genuine customer care. Food was excellent! Every course compliments from all the family. Feels very homely and relaxed in the bar — cant wait to try out the gorgeous spa in the morning. Really fab place and definitely would return and recommended.

At a funeral tea here this afternoon. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. I asked if they had anything gluten free… Without even a pause the chap went n got some gf oatcakes then returned shortly with a toasted cheese sandwich. A small gesture maybe but the immediate response and no hassle approach was very much appreciated.

Great period hotel with comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and some of the best food we've eaten in hotels.

My boyfriend and me stayed here for a wedding it felt like we knew the staff after a day. They were very relaxed. The beauty salon here is wonder and brilliant value. The owner is a lovely woman with so much time for every customer.

We always look forward to our visits to the Craigmonie. Neil and the staff look after us very well. We have stayed in various rooms and never been disappointed. I do now prefer the Annexe rooms even if I have to walk over to the Leisure complex. The highlight is the swimming pool. Just the right temperature and size. Traditional Highland breakfast is a must try, followed by coffee on one of the lovely sofas in the Lounge with the papers. Would recommend this hotel for comfort, staff attention and easy access to the town.

Food not amazing, but cheap so to be expected. Great, friendly, helpful staff. We had a great private room.

We had a lovely stay at Craigmonie. Our room was in the annex and was perfect for us, roomy pleasantly decorated and a really comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant twice and thought the food was really good with a varied menu and fairly priced. The breakfasts were fab! The interior of the main building was a little scruffy but the staff more than made up for this. They could not have been more friendly and obliging. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be returning for our next Scottish visit.

Heavyset receptionist is rude and uncaring. Room too small. Inner city hotel that's noisy and without views.

In need of updating. Very noisy room. Could hear every creak and floorboard… Breakfast lots of fried items… Not close to centre as advertised.

Professional event, for lunch for 70 people. Food and service was excellent. Room was a little warm and the bathrooms are a bit dated, but excellent venue. Can highly recommend.

Meal was superb and the room so comfy. We'll worth a visit. Good location and quiet.

At a recent funeral reception this hotel deliberately tried to maximise profit by delaying the serving of tea and sandwiches so that they could sell as many drinks as possible.
