Great bar with a great atmosphere especially if you visit in the evening. Fantastic range of local ales to choose from, 26 I believe. Their pizzas are very tasty cooked in their own stone oven. Would definitely come again.

Pizza and beer are great. A little over your average price, but it's the kind of money I gladly pay, knowing that I'm eating and drinking organic, regional, quality products. Absolutely recommend!

We often meet friends here for a drink and sometimes food. Excellent, friendly down to earth, rustic bar. Love the long wooden tables. Fab selection of locally brewed beers, Gins and many other beverages. Food excellent too. To top it off there is a fabulous secret roof garden. Defiantly well worth a visit. Ps they even let you take your dog. Think it has to be my favourite bar.

Fantastic place in Inverness. A very wide selection of Black Isle Brewery Beers to try amongst a few others. Well worth a visit if you like beers, lagers, IPA, pale ale, fruit beers etc etc. There is also a selection of gins there too. One brilliant extra is the fact that pizzas are served here from 11am-11pm. Cooked in a wood fire pizza oven, they are delicious and there are a number of good topping choices available. Usually really really busy most of the time. But that hints at the popularity of this place. The secret garden at the top of the building is a hidden gem and you can sit out there in all weathers thanks to the decent shelter and heating there. Well worth a visit, highly recommend.

This is a very unique dinning experience open dinning room area with some personal tables and some longer ones to share. They grow all their own pizza ingrendiants on their own farm and have a ton of house beer choices the food was very tasty! Food and drinks are ordered at the bar and brought to your table.

Delicious Beer, Tasty Pizza, very pleased with our experience. Pretty straight forward establishment that runs a lean ship. Food arrived quick, beer was abundant and varied. We didn't even check out the clever rooftop garden that makes this spot a very popular place on a nice day. Worth the stop!

Nice and clean, well laid out with lots of seating. The beers are very good with an excellent selection served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Priced as you would expect. We had a couple of pizzas which were good, well made with good produce. A good bar, and if beers are your thing then this place will be ideal.

Was in for lunch a few weekends ago and when our pizza arrived, our waiter apologised that part of it was too overdone for his liking. He told us to enjoy that one while the kitchen made us another pizza free of charge. Wouldn’t have minded the first pizza but appreciated the attention to detail and customer service.

The bar is nice but limited spirits and only fentiman mixers which are not to my taste. The rooftop area is a lovely change of pace from the rest of the bars in Inverness. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Wow! Their selection of beer is second to none in Inverness. Although most of it is quite expensive, it's no more than you would pay in the city centre of anywhere else these days. I had the Goldeneyes IPA, which was a refreshingly crisp ale with a powerful hoppy kick. I attired their wheat beer, which was wonderfully fruity with a slight bitter edge. At £3.50 it is easily the best pint currently poured in Inverness. I also had a "Hebridean" pizza. Lamb meatballs with mint, it doesn't sound like a classic pizza combination but bloody hell, it was fantastic! Definitely top 3 pizzas of all time. If you're in Inverness for a food pint and some food then you won't do better than here.

Fantastic pub. Friendly staff, amazing assortment of beers and wood fired pizzas. Delicious! Cool laid back vibe with out any hipster pretentiousness. Dogs are welcome an the secret garden is always going to be a winner. Why would you not want to go? …

If you like beer, ale or lager… go. You could spend hours taste testing and loving on the flavours on offer. Try the well fired pizza cooked fresh on site in the amazing pizza ovens. The food is beautiful and the staff super friendly. Rugged bar and just great place to spend a few hours or all night if you love all things hops.

We were staying in Inverness last night as going to a Gig at The Ironworks and arranged to meet friends at your fab Bar for the 1st time. As well as being a great Bar with a fab atmosphere and friendly staff, as a Coeliac, it was such a pleasant surprise to learn that you had gluten free pizza bases and a gluten free beer! You made me one very happy lady last night. Thank you!

The mushroom pizza is savory and aromatic. Excellent choice of craft brews. Open and friendly atmosphere that allows pups. Communal tables. The bathrooms are lovely.

Place at first nice but very noisy and non-existent welcome. We left after 5 minutes trying to run after a server.

Great tasting cider, great atmosphere and although we didn't eat the pizzas they looked and smelled amazing. The wee secret garden is brilliant and I love the that the whole place is dog friendly.

This was the bar Inverness so desperately needed. Wonderful beer, wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere. This is where I take friends when they come to visit. I am very lucky to only live 5 minutes away.

Good beer, they even have a few American brews (cascade brewing and stone). Help was extremely nice, let me sample several beers. Multiple serving sizes are available. Venue is pleasant. Power outlets are available in some seats. 20ish co2 taps and 6 casks. It’s a refreshing change from the normal UK beer selection and demeanor.

Fantastic atmosphere. Pricey even for their own beers. But still one of the best places to get a drink Inverness.

Really cool bar. Besides the excellent beer, there are also pizzas to nibble on but the best are the Black Isle beers.

Always an awesome place to visit! One of the few very decent bars in Inverness, great selection of drinks topped with some great oven fired pizzas. Cool little roof top area to chill out and enjoy a few beers.

Unbeatable value for money in Inverness.

Black Isle Bar is a lovely vibrant environment that is good for a whole manner of visits. I have found this venue as a great place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere as well as a great place to have some enjoyable after work drinks with collegues. The only issue I have is some of the beers can be a bit pricey. But all of the different ales and beers available ate a great taste of high quality local brewing.

Great selection of beers and spirits in a very nice rustic styled pub. The roof terrace is great for some 'fresh air'. Doesn't seem to attract a young crowd which is good.

Friendly, helpful staff. Too many great beers to choose from! Dog friendly and they even brought my pup a bowl of water! Great pizza and there’s even a vegan option on the menu. Can’t recommend highly enough ❤️X x.

Have one drink after long walk, really relax, my partner said his IPA is pretty good, my porter is not the best Ive got, but still better than others in Scotland. Have to go there if u like craft beer when u visit Inverness. Close to railway station.

Many beers to try, I loved the Scotch ale and oatmeal stout, pizza was delish, secret garden seating was swell. We also stayed in the rooms and it was great! Small, clean, new, perfect. The staff was friendly and fun! The clientele was a mix of tourists and locals, but unfortunately seemed to be over half tourists (like us). I highly recommend this place for anyone. I recommend they get some tunes in the garden.

Good place to have a beer or eat. On the roof they have a spectacular terrace equipped for the cold.

Organic, rustic, downtown energy. Bartenders that are doing a great job fast. Super clean rooms. Casual fun beer garden.

Local brewery in house with great quality of beer. Excellent Wood fired pizza, with great red sauce, (one pizza can be shared by two people). Family friendly with an upstairs hidden garden that accommodates more. Highly recommend the Scotch Ale.

Loved it and they have a beautiful outside smoking area. Although it is expensive but the selection is amazing, and from local breweries in the North and surrounding areas. Highly recommended for a sunny day.

Bar, pizza and en-suite rooms. Busy when we walked in but quick serviceabd helpful staff. The beer is on tap behind bar, good selection of spirits and must be good wine as a group of women came in and only ordered that. There is a wood fired pizza oven. The seating is more communal as there are long benches rather than small tables. There's also a secret garden but we didn't venture that far!

Very nice room, so clean. The bar had a secret garden patio that was so lovely. The pizza was so good with interesting and organic toppings from their local farm. An unreal amount of craft beer on tap as well.

Rooms are basic but have everything you need for an overnight stay. Good location. The bar is very trendy and has a cool little 'secret' garden.

Popped in for a beer. Trendy venue with wide selection of craft beers from their brewery, plus ciders and spirits. Good spot.

Room was small but well laid out, clean and modern. Street noise was my only issue (especially from cars going over the broken drain cover) but obviously this isn't the fault of the establishment. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
