The location is nice and quiet with good countryside views and easy to get to. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming making the booking in process quick and easy. The room was very well laid out and far from basic and was spotlessly clean. The bed was nice and comfortable and I had a good nights sleep which was what I needed and booked for following a fairly lengthy journey to to get there.
The breakfast menu was extensive; I went for the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon which was extremely tasty and highly recommended. All in all, the stay was very pleasant and good value for money. Would I come back? yes. Would I recommend Ornum House? Definitely.

It was lovely experience staying at Ornum house. Fiona is a welcoming host & so attentive. Home baking & fresh milk/ water in mini fridge adds personal touch. The modern ensuite bedroom was huge & immaculate. Guest are welcome to use spacious sitting room / dining room with cosy wood burner & beautiful views from large bay windows.
Location feels remote but only short drive from Beully & 20 — 30mins from Inverness. Views on Beuly firth nearby are lovely. Altogether this was a superb place to stay.

I highly recommend staying at Ornum House. Both the house and garden is beautiful. I spent the majority of my day reading in the tranquil garden, surrounded by little birds and with a deer in the field opposite. The bed was comfy and the en-suite was very large! The cooked breakfast was delicious and the fruit bowl containing fruits grown on site was a wonderful touch. The host was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. There was even homemade shortbread in my room on arrival! It was a wonderful stay!

We arrived at Ornum House early evening having driven 100 mikes of the NC500. It’s a great place to start & finish from.
We made use of the comfortable & massive sitting/dining room which has huge double aspect windows overlooking the countryside.
Our room was a large double en-suite with a SuperKing size bed TV Fridge Kettle tea & coffee & two chairs.
Fiona was able to offer a full menu for breakfast & there are 3 tables in the reception room one for each of the en-suite bedrooms used for B&B We thoroughly recommend this place we had the best nights sleep since leaving home (6 nights ago) and Fiona & Ellis are great hosts (Sadly as we drove away I realised I didn’t take any photos)

A lovely B&B with a great, warm and friendly host. Room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Decor was modern and tastefully done. Wi-Fi was instant and easy to connect to. Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before & was fantastic. Locally sourced produce with homegrown raspberries and other fruits on offer. Ample parking. Big spacious lounge area to sit and have your dinner should you wish with sweeping views of the countryside, deers and lots of birds. … All in all, an excellent way to end our tour of Scotland. We would recommend you stay here.

Large spacious cottage with washer, dryer and what else you need. Quiet location and very friendly owners who live right next door!
