Lovely place very comfortable and has everything anyone needs for a relaxing holiday — very dog friendly with good walks nearby.

I’ve been to Balmeadowside Lodges outside Cupar a couple of times now for family celebrations and love it. The farmhouse is so spacious, but cosy at the same time and the surrounding area is beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Having a lovely family Christmas at Balmeadowside lodges, lodges are very spacious and well laid out, would definitely book to come here again, love all the animals that are here too.

We stayed in Rowan tree cottage for a weekend with our baby and toddler a couple of weeks ago. The cottage itself was lovely and very clean. It had everything we needed, was local to alot of things, and was great to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day. Beautiful place 😍

I have visited balmeadowside more times than I can count and each trip has been wonderful. Such a beautiful location with well looked after properties and lovely views from the hot tub! Looking forward to my next trip already ☺️

Absolutely loved staying at Balmeadowside, we stayed in Douglas Fir, it was an amazing lodge, very family and pet friendly. I had my dog withe and u got a dog bowl, blanket and some dog biscuits. Plenty to do, there r various walks to do, one is a fairy trail for small kids and they have deer, goats and llamas that u can also go and see. U r not that far away from Cupar, just 4 miles, where there is plenty of food shops for u as well, they have a tesco that u can get from and they also deliver to lodges as well. Will definitely be booking to come back next year.

So far so good. Place is clean and tidy, lovely lodge not the biggest but plenty big enough for us Just been for a lovely walk around one of the on site walks. If you want a quiet relax come here.

Just back from 3 night stay in Fox lodge. Amazing views, lovely lodge will definately be back.

Just arrived home from a 4 night stay in the Barn Lodge … what a beautiful kept farm and our lodge was amazing, views were out of this world. Peaceful and you felt right at home. Hot tub was great and the walks and trails about were great for our dog. We will definitely be back 😁

Excellent well maintained Lodges with everything you need for a short break or a longer holiday each lodge has it's own hot tub I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful, spacious lodges that are spotless. Hottub is amazing. Stunning scenery n lots of lovely walks and animals to see.

Just returned home after our 3 night stay at the site and can’t compliment the place enough everything from check in till we left was perfect. The lodge had everything you could ever wish for and was immaculately clean and tidy on arrival. The views and the surrounding area are so beautiful. We can’t wait to return for our next trip.

Loved it here. First time visiting with our labrador as a minimoon after our wedding. Lodges are spacious massive wrap around decking was great for our dog, very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The hot tub was amazing! Best I've ever been in staff checking them daily which was good. Lovely surroundings, very peaceful. Will be back next year and probably every year great to find a true dog friendly getaway that offers luxury too.

Absolutely perfect weekend at Balmeadowside Lodges. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful location and the lodge itself was spacious and very clean. Of course the hottub was amazing and we were very lucky with the sunny weather. My girls loved seeing the animals on the farm and there is a little park right beside our lodge. I would highly recommend here and we will definitely be popping back for a visit 😊

Beautiful and peaceful place, the lodge we stayed in (Kingfisher) was lovely. Clean throughout and well maintained. :) the staff are friendly and helpful also. Loved our private hot tub at the lodge, again. Clean and well maintained. Water got tested every day by staff. Views are stunning and as balmedowside is a farm. Ur surrounded by animals such as pigmy goats. Roe deer, Lama's. Cow's. Wildlife. Really is a place to relax.
I would definitely recommend to other's and may be back for another stay.
I also find it good that some lodges/cottages are dog friendly so you can be assured ur pooch is made welcome also.

Spent a weekend in Cherry Blossom Cottage it was amazing, so peaceful with beautiful scenery, everything was perfect the cottage is large and spacious and spotlessly clean, the wood burner was perfect for the weather and the addition of the Xmas tree in the cottage was a lovely surprise, would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return some time.

Everything absolutely perfect. Top notch. Only observation and this is not a complaint. In the event of bad weather only bbc1 and bbc2 available. We will be coming back next year.

We have just spent 4 nights in Barn Lodge. It is spacious, clean and well equipped. Lots of reasons to recommend Balmeadowside. It is a well run property. Relaxing, peaceful and dog friendly. Out lodge afforded us privacy too. There has obviously been thought given to how the properties are spaced out. I would definitely go back and would also look at other sites the company owns.

Had a brilliant time at Parbroath Farm last week. We stayed in Cannich cottage which is stunning with a true homely feeling, hot tub was amazing too. Parbroath has a path that takes you to Balmeadowside itself. We visited the goats and walked around site and took in the spectacular views. We were at Balmeadowside last year and look foward to going back again to either site soon.

My friend and I just stayed for the wkend at the badger lodge which was beautiful, it had a gorgeous view from balcony, really clean, nice and spacious, comfy sofa, hot tub was great, lovely decor inside.
We enjoyed going for the short yellow walk to the duck pond we also went to see the goats.
We would highly recommend coming here and we are booked to come back again in March to the woodpecker bigger lodge with friends.

Amazing place.
Easy to find, yet just far enough away from the main roads to be quiet and very relaxing. The lodge (Barn Lodge) was clean, comfortable and roomy. The balcony/decked area offered a great view across and along the vale. With the added security of a sliding gate to stop littler ones or dogs (if you bring those) from wandering off. The farm is a working farm so there are animals about and the occasional vehicle, but we hardly noticed any noise, apart from the cows waking up! But it's the countryside so what do you expect!? There are half a dozen walks around the area, most clearly marked out so you don't have to drive anywhere to be able to feel like you're away groom it all, and it's never too far to get back for a hot chocolate, before hopping into the hot tub for a chance to relax and take in those views. Even better once the sun goes down, the skies go dark and the stars come out. We will definitely, definitely, definitely be back!

Stayed here for two nights in the hedgehog lodge and was absolute pure bliss just what was needed and a bonus could take the dog as well. Had everything needed highly recommend.

Have had a fantastic time here. Will defo be back, walked over to see the animals was great. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We have just returned from 3 nights in your Hedgehog Lodge. It was amazing, had everything we needed, was cosy and clean… we didnt actually use the hot tub this time. But we will definitely be back and will make use of this too. Thank you for a fantastic break… it was great to close the door on the world and just relax for a while. Amazing. Xxx.

Stayed in Barn Lodge with daughter and son-in-law, took my dog who had a great time. Well appointed, cosy, clean, plenty of walks. Great sky at night. Minimal light pollution. Will definitly be back.

Visited from 21st December To 28th Cant fault the Cabin copper beach the staff had put alot of effort into the lodges they had xmas lights and included a fully Decorated tree with a gift for us and also the dogs a very nice gesture… The cabin was very warm for our arrival and the hot tub was all ready for our stay the rooms were very well presented they had thought of every thing even down to hair dryer the kitchen has everything you need for your stay the complimentary tea and coffee was a nice touch. The bathroom has a very good shower and large bath and ample hot water for a family of four just one small point the electric shaver point was not working but not a major issue and it did not affect the stay the Decking and hottub area is great the only thing I would suggest is that they may install a light at the hottub area as was slightly dark in the area The Staff Were very friendly and helpful and they were very attentive to all our needs the cabins had a very good brochure on places to visit and eat in the local area My suggestions to the owners are the following USB sockets in bedroom and sitting room areas.

Just returned from a wonderful Christmas break. Lodge was perfect, clean, well furnished, great views and nicely private.
Highly recommend a stay to anyone whether it's for a short break or a celebration, it really is the perfect setting.

Just back from a two night stay with my partner in the Silver Birch lodge. The lodge was lovely, cosy and clean inside with stunning views of the surrounding area. The hot tub is an added bonus, it was fab! Wish we could have stayed longer and wish we had taken the dog also! 100% recommend to anyone.

Love this place. Stayed here many times now and will again. Such a peaceful chill out stay, close to home which makes it even more attractive. East to get to but could be anywhere! Dog friendly with a hot tub. Lots of walks nearby. Amenities close by if needed.

Everything, the accommodation is superb, everything is good quality, everything is comfortable, so quiet and private.

Had a great few days at copper beach lodge, lovely clean and spacious, everything you need, hot tub was fab and also the little bits left out for our dog too, surroundings are beautiful lovely walks around our fur baby had a great time, the staff we met were all lovely, will definitely be back.

Myself and 3 girlfriends spent a wonderful 3 day break in the farmhouse. Friends, fun, gin and hot tub what not to like. Rooms were all en-suite and the farmhouse was tastefully furnished and equipped throughout. Great setting and views. Will definitely be back.

The cottages are lovely & dog friendly, close to St Andrews & Tentsmuir. Would definitely recommend.

Just back from spending a long weekend at Rowan Tree Cottage. It was absolutely lovely and my family had a wonderful time. We struck lucky with the weather so made the most of the hot tub and outside space. My greyhound loved the enclosed garden, and spent most of her time sleeping out there or watching the llamas in the neighbouring field. The whole family loved it so much that we’re already booked to come back in September. Can’t wait!

The lodge is amazing spacious.

We stayed with friends at the Skylark for 3 nights. It was amazing we loved it! The lodge was warm and cosy, very clean and spacious! We loved the hot tub and made use of it as much as we could. The views were stunning and being able to sit on the large decking area and enjoy the sunsets was absolutely priceless! I only had 2 issues, one of which. When I look at previous comments was an issue a year ago which has not been resolved. We stayed in the master bedroom and every night at about 4am the boiler for the hot tub would go on and off non stop! So for the first two nights I just couldnt sleep well. I suggest that some sound proofing be put into the boiler housing on the wall facing the bedroom as this would help a lot! Just another warning for anyone wanting to stay here, make sure to check if your lodge has someone coming in for an early check in the day you leave, because we were unable to get a late check out due to the guests after us coming early. I found this to be very unfair!

Just back from our 1 night stay at kingfisher lodge and can't fault anything other than we should have booked longer. Everything was immaculate we couldn't have asked for more and the hot tub with a little glass of prosecco was a perfect end to a perfect night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back.
