Silverdale Farmhouse B&B Farm Stay

Glenn and Angela made us feel totally at home, giving us a warm welcome and providing us with a beautiful large bedroom and our own bathroom. Glenn was so helpful with advice on our daily excursions, and we enjoyed long conversations about this, that, and the other. Our breakfasts were superb in every way, and cooked to perfection.

We have just had the most lovely 3 night stay at this excellent B&B.
In need of a mini break and having visited the area many times in the past, we were recommended to visit Silverdale by freinds.
We were not disappointed.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by Glenn, who guided us to our room.
The property which is a Farmhouse over 200 years old, has been thoughtfully renovated and is maintained to the highest of standards/cleanliness.
The Room, lovely, spacious, comfortable and an excellent super king Bed.
Peace and quiet assured being situated in the small hamlet of Snitter.
Breakfast, (you may well not need lunch), an excellent full English alongside a selection of cereals, yoghurts with fruit, prepared by Angela.
Silverdale B&B is ideally situated being just a short drive from both Cragside and Wallington Hall both National Trust properties, also within an hours drive of the coast, for a walk on the beach at Bamburgh.
Provided in the welcome information, a selection of local places to eat for an evening meal, with recent updates by our hosts.
The area is full of history and stunning countryside so well worth a visit.

This is an excellent B&B. We have now stayed twice at Silverdale and enjoyed the experience both times. Glen and Angie make you very welcome, the facilities are spotlessly clean, the breakfasts are also good. Silverdale is located off the road in a very quiet area.

This guest house is a gem. It is the best we have stayed in. Clean, comfy, friendly owners Glen and Angela. Fabulous location near Rothbury. Highly recommended. The breakfast is outstanding. Bedrooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Local pub offers great value evening meals only 2 mins drive.

We have been to Silverdale farm house 3 times now and every time gets more special. Glenn and Angela are the most welcoming and lovely hosts ever. The minute you arrive you are greeted with a friendly smile. The room is spotless and feels so homely Woth beautiful touches throughout the house. Breakfast is delicious with a great range of options. Glenn and Angela also make an effort to help make sure you have a fantastic holiday by giving you tips on where to eat and places to visit. At the end of a day out they welcome you back making sure you have had a nice day. We couldn't imagine visiting Northumberland without Silverdale. A perfect location for anyone and you will leave wanting to book in your next visit straight away.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The rooms are very pleasant and immaculately clean. The grounds are very peaceful and the view from our room was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious! Enjoyed our stay so much we've booked again!

We stayed one night at Silverdale and it was simply wonderful. We had such a warm and friendly welcome, the room was absolutely beautiful, the facilities were spot on and the breakfast has kept us full all day! I would highly recommend this b and b to anyone and will definitely be staying again!

What a hidden gem in Northumberland! Recently taken over by the lovely Angie & Glenn.
Fantastic hosts, rooms are lovely and very clean. Breakfasts are fab plenty to choose from for everyone (Angie does georgous homemade genola slices) If you are looking for a short break or longer whether it be for walking, sightseeing or just to chill Silverdale Farmhouse B&B Offers you a friendly and homely atmosphere with beautiful surrounding country side. Highly recommended.

Amanda is a great host. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast is good too.

Out of the way, friendly, relaxed. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable, we only stayed one night on a quick visit but would recommend Silverdale.

Fantastic b&b, Maureen and Amanda are really welcoming as are the cats, dogs, ducks and hens. The cooked breakfast was very tasty and there was a good selection of cereal. The rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and are clean and tidy and there was a good selection of different flavored teas also available in the room.

We have just had another lovely stay at this fabulous farmhouse. A very warm welcome from Maureen and Amanda and a lovely breakfast. Everything about the place is so warm and cosy, excellent rooms and brilliant location. We will definitely be back as soon as the sun comes out.

Fantastic place to stay for BnB. Friendly hosts. Rooms very spacious and you get hot chocolate and biscuits. Beautiful views and fab location. The breakfast is amazing.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Silverdale farm. Breathtaking scenery and very comfortable accomodation. The attention to detail was much appreciated by all of our party of 10. The children loved the animals who were so friendly. A perfect nights sleep after our days out in the surrounding countryside.

Amanda is a fabulous host. Nothing is too much trouble! We stayed for one night — good Friday — in the family room (6). There was Easter eggs and a handmade card left in the room for our arrival; a really lovely touch! Beds were comfy, room clean and homely, views amazing. A great breakfast — lots of choice. And to top it all Amanda took in a baby chick for our son to hold and have a look at, which absolutely made his day. We will definitely be back!

Had a great time when we stayed in December 2016. Amanda and her family we're so kind and welcoming. My little girl loved it. Can't wait to go back.
