I held a charity dinner on Saturday evening in the Belmont, Michael was amazing for over a year and help in any way he could. The room was set up just the way I wanted it, the food was amazing and the staff where just amazing. We couldn't have had a better evening in the Belmont. The whole evening just ran the way we had planned and the Belmont where great in every way. So I want to say thank you to Michael and his staff.

Had the most beautiful afternoon tea on Tuesday past. There were 6 of us and we all had a lovely afternoon. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. We have already enquired about the festive afternoon teas for Christmas. Thanks to Ian and the girls it was perfect.

What a venue. We had thee best day for our wedding here and we've had so many compliments from every guest that attended. The staff & management are a credit to the business. A special shout out to Michael. Can't praise him enough! nothing was a bother to him. Food was incredible and honestly we had the best day! Thank you!

Had a lovely 1 night stay here. Lovely food, staff, dinner and breakfast. Big hiccup with agreed room of our choice so will go again for correct room next time then it will be perfect. Great for our Bichon, she was very content here. Special thanks to Gail and Michael …

Had our wedding here at the Belmont yesterday and I honestly don’t even know where to begin it’s was the most wonderful day from start to finish a stunning venue, food was fantastic and so much of it! The staff were brilliant nothing was a problem so helpful and friendly, but the main man Michael Ross who took to do with our whole wedding was out standing he went above and beyond from booking our wedding till the end of the night his attention to detail and Attentiveness was more than we could ever of hoped for he was honestly amazing and we thank u so much from the bottom of ours hearts for making our day so perfect and stress free you really our fantastic at your job. For anyone considering having your wedding here you will NOT be disappointed the grounds are beautiful and the guest rooms our gorgeous and so comfy it’s honestly a fantastic venue. So thank you everyone at the Belmont for a fantastic day we have the best memories love from the new mr & mrs cummings x.

What a fantastic day we had on Friday at the Belmont for our wedding day. Michael Julieanne and all the staff where fantastic. Michael went above and beyond for us always checking on us grabbing us a drink just all the little things that really made our day run smooth. The food was amazing and we have had nothing but compliments on the food and how great the staff where at getting the food out and coming around with extra. Thankyou so much for everything.

My husband and myself were blown away on our wedding day by how smoothly everything went. Nothing was to much for Michael, Julie Ann and their amazing team! Michael was always checking on us making sure we knew what was happening every step of the day — his attention to all the little things was amazing! The wedding breakfast was so tasty all our guests commented on how good the food was. If you're thinking about getting married here go for it — you will not be disappointed! Thank you again to Michael for making our wedding day complete ❤️

I had the side room booked tonight for party of 16. Food was excellent as was the staff. Very reasonably priced. Highly recomend. Thank you.

Great venue, excellent staff. Forget the tree hugging tossers that are putting up negative reviews. They wouldn't know the difference between a roastie and a toastie.

I can’t recommend a place that hosts barbaric fox hunters. 👎🏼 Seriously disappointing. My husband and I were regulars pre-covid. Seriously disappointed to learn of this.

Had a function at hotel few evenings ago. Highly recommend, function staff couldn't have been helpful. Surroundings are stunning.

The belmont is amazing. Had my wedding booked, due to covid we had to postpone and it wasn't a problem. Finally had our big day on Friday. Everything was perfect, the staff were fantastic, the food was amazing. They made sure the day went well. The room was set up exactly how I wanted it.

So lovely to be back at the Belmont for some delicious food. The staff were absolutely fantastic from booking over the telephone, receiving a call back with information and the chef so accommodating for my daughter who has an egg allergy. Had Sunday menu today first class service from beginning to end, great portions and food was amazing, definetly be using this service again, well done Belmont hotel.

Great vegan options. I didn’t expect that they would have a vegan option for each course! Lovely.

We had our wedding reception in the Belmont. Such a hidden beauty. The place is beautiful inside and out. Staff are very attentive. They are a genuine example of brilliant hospitality. The food is truly remarkable. Rooms are fabulous, luxury decor and spotless. Special mention to Jordan and Michael who helped made our special day happen. They both went over and beyond for us. We cannot thank everybody enough.

Called in for a quick bite to eat this morning, ordered the French Toast, Bacon and
Maple Syrup from the new brunch menu. Everything comes with free tea or coffee.
Really tasty and a large portion. Great service and very reasonably priced.

Superb meal and service for family birthday dinner, the excellent hotel manager Michael and waiter Jack were very accommodating and couldn’t have done more for us, will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family, thank you Belmont Hotel for a great night.

Was in dining room for food last night.

Just home after a lovely family meal this evening. Service and attention was spot on. For a change to my usual choice of steak or chicken I opted for the roast duckling and I was glad I chose it. Succulent and tasty. The meal was full of pleasant surprises laid on for the benefit of my wife who was celebrating her birthday, culminating in a lovely cafe royal and a wee dessert.

Lovely meal tonight. Quick service. Felt at ease in restaurant and bar. Highly recommend.

Thank you for such a well organised 18th birthday for Nathan, nothing was any bother, the staff were all very friendly and professional and of course the food was lovely and plenty of it. The whole night went without a hitch.

Wudnt even give a 1 star. Booked food for a christening and had to pay a deposit. Went to pay for food and there sayin my deposit money was took off when it definitely hasn’t been. Money grabbers. Definitely won’t be back. Very disappointed.

I attended a fabulous event in Belmont House Hotel today and was so impressed by everything! The decor, food and service was simply superb and I can’t wait to return again very soon! A stunning hotel right on our doorstep! I would highly recommend it to all!

We had our wedding reception at the Belmont on 31st August 2019. From the first time we visited the hotel when considering a venue, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Harry, Michael, and Julie-Anne were always so helpful and thoughtful when we were in the planning stages. The function rooms have recently been refurbished and they are clean, bright and beautifully decorated. The staff did a fantastic job setting up the room, and the tables looked lovely. On the day everything went so smoothly (thanks to Harry who was the master of ceremonies). The atmosphere was fantastic, and all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the reception. Food was so tasty and there was lots of it! Service was really excellent — the staff were great. We had a few guests with special dietary requirements, and they were very well catered for. The grounds and hotel entrance set the scene for some fantastic wedding photos. For overnight accommodation, our room was again beautifully decorated with lots of Georgian character, and very very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! We had an absolutely fantastic day with lots of happy memories. Thank you Belmont for helping make our day so special — it was perfect :)

What an amazing Hotel! Our daughters wedding reception was here on 27/7/19. Julie-Ann looked after us the whole day and nothing was too much trouble. The staff are friendly and helpful and the meal was excellent! The Hotel is beautiful inside and out. A fantastic day had by all and a happy bride and groom. 10

Was part of a large birthday party booking here recently. Had a beautiful meal, great service and fantastic staff. New decor really beautiful. Would really recommend it!

Place was clean the food was good the only down point was the menu wasn't enough of a choice but the 4of us got enough to do and service was quick and reasonably priced.

I recently had the great pleasure to hold a Stars In Their Eyes fundraising night at the Belmont Hotel in aid of Air Ambulance NI and I cant thank the Belmont enough. Such a fantastic success it was and that was largely due to their professionalism at all times. Over a number of weeks I had to visit the Belmont on numerous occasions in relation to the event and at all times all staff were extremely engaging and went out of their way to help. During the two days leading up to the event and on the evening itself I could not have been more impressed. Nothing was a hassle for them and anything I needed was attended to. Over the days I had a number of meals with top notch service and my overnight stay and breakfast was first class. I will definitely come back for food, stay overnight and I’m already thinking of doing it all over again. Thank you to all your staff. First Class.

Great staff. However the food standard has slipped 10 fold. Got food a few times recent and wasn't impressed.

Lovely place to stay. Very handy as just off the a1. Easy access to Belfast and site seeing too.

Fathers Day Carvery yesterday was excellent, we were there at 12.45pm, greeted at the door by a pleasant and welcoming young girl and shown to our table. We went for the two courses with soup for starters, the soup was lovely and was served with a warm/fresh bread roll. Then to the carvery (our first time experiencing the Belmont carvery), choice of roast beef, turkey and ham and served with all the trimmings, we had mash potato, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots & parsnips, stuffing, cabbage, cocktail sausages, gravy with a choice of various sauces, cranberry etc. The food was excellent, hot and plentiful. We were too full to try a dessert but judging by other tables they too looked good with choices of Trifle, Pavlova and a third choice I think was cheesecake. During the meal the waitresses were attentive, cleared away the starters plates while we were up getting carvery, attended table twice to make sure we were happy and to see if we needed more drinks or anything else. The décor was nice (we hadn't been in since their refurbishment), the atmosphere good (a lot of families in dining as it was Fathers Day of course), the staff were friendly and efficient, in all, a nice dining experience and we will be back.

We had are wedding reception at the Belmont on 25th November 2016 was fantastic could not have asked for better. The staff were fabulous everything went as planned. We did not have your original sit down meal we had a buffet which everyone loved. Would definitely recommend it to everyone loved it thank you.

Lovely welcoming hotel with a warm glow. However where most aspects have been renovated really well one aspect sadly left it down.
My bathroom was in need of some
Major tlc. Black mouldy edge to bath with build up of unpleasant grime and tile grout in need of a good scrub with bleach. Top of my bathroom cabinet was Filthy!
Beautiful chair in the room but was too low to sit in at the dressing table to do hair etc! My chin was at the counter top level.
Had to scramble under the dressing table to the only acceptable socket to plug in the kettle and kettle had to be on the floor as cable too short which is dangerous
Waited over 30 mins for breakfast and there were only 3 of us in the dining room at the time but when it did arrive it was well cooked and very generous, sadly had to leave due to work deadlines before finishing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all really helpful.
All very resolvable issues that would have made it a 4.5 star rating.

First time being there, food was fantastic, surroundings were excellent, very elegant and relaxed feel about the place. Great staff and great value for money. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat in super surroundings.
