Upper floor rooms are accessed by stairs only. A continental breakfast is available each morning. The famous Dark Hedges Tree Tunnel is less than 5 minutes' drive away. Gracehille Golf Club is just over a kilometre from Gardenvale Bed & Breakfast, and the seaside town of Ballycastle is a 15-minute drive away. Great rooms, large and spacious. The experience is a little quirky which is ok, the breakfast was a major let down. If you are only doing a continental breakfast, not a cooked breakfast you should say so on the website. The continental breakfast was miserable. Bad Coffee, tea and pastries with boxes of cereal. Not good. Also, having to pay in cash? no cards? I can only suspect this is for tax avoidance. As a tax payer I take a dim view of this. It's also ridiculous to arrive at a country house and be told they only have cash. Very inconvenient. Ok, but wouldn't stay again.
Great location to relax and a great owners, who went out of there way to make arrangements for us to arrive late and drove us in to town.

A wonderful place. The owners are so lovely. We enjoyed the stay. I will come back, because I fell in love with this house and the area. Just gorgeous here. A dream. Breakfast was delightful. Thank you for everything.
