Lovely relaxing day, brilliant treatments by Georgia and Charlotte. The Thai. Lunch was beautiful and staff made is very welcome… thank you we will return x.

Fantastic spa hotel, amazing thermal pool and spa amenities. Booked an evening meal in the restaurant, the food was just amazing and the service excellent. We had the deluxe double room, very comfortable and clean. Good choice of breakfast foods, tasty and plentiful.

Had a fantastic spa day, despite the hydrotherapy pool being unavailable until 11ish. We had fantastic full body massages and a very moreish afternoon tea to end the day!

We stayed here overnight whilst visiting Zip World and stayed in the Luxury Room. The overnight stay included a visit to the spa and a 3 Course evening meal and cooked breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended and would definitely visit again.

It may be the best independantly owned spa ive been too in Wales! the hotel is a pleasant alternative to a chain hotel and the food and service was good. But the spa is a real treat with some unique quirks. Wouldnt think twice about returning.

The beautiful Kinmel Kinspa. The staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. We visited the spa and spent a couple of hours in the pool, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If you want treatments, make sure you book them well in advance as unfortunately, they were fully booked when we used the facilities. We chose to have dinner in the hotel's Brasserie 1786 and we were not disappointed, the food was superb! Breakfast is in the same restaurant, and there was an abundance of continental and hot food choices on display, aswell as a menu if you wanted something different such as: smoked haddock and scrambled eggs, or kippers. Our room (101) was on the ground floor and was lovely and spaciously, but unfortunately was very noisy, as it was situated opposite the entrance door to the rest of the rooms, and everytime it was opened, it slammed shut. We stayed for two nights, and on the first night we were woken by the guests in the room above us, we could here them talking, walking across the floor, going to the bathroom, flushing the toilet, it was like we were there with them, and they weren't partying. As the phone in my room did not work I had to get dressed and walk to reception to request the staff do something about it, as we were tired from lack of sleep and it was unbearable! Night two was pretty much the same, only this time the guests were partying. Then when they were asked by staff to be quiet it sounded like an altercation took place. Eventually they calmed down.

Overall a wonderful experiance. The food was Marvellous — perhaps a little out of keeping with the hotel. Very helpful staff and the spa facilities were sublime.

We went for the wedding fair, lovely venue for a wedding. The fair was fairly well stocked, just mostly photographers.

Just back from a fantastic mini-break with my partner. This place really is just how it is described. Lovely scenery, food superb, rooms comfortable and the service great. Definitely felt like a 4* hotel. The spa was also impressive, the treatments, facilities and service/staff were as expected from a 4* spa. We'll certainly be booking again in the future.

Fantastic hotel with a world class spa and swimming pool. The food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the pork with black pudding bon bon on a bed of cabbage. The wine was lovely and complemented the meal perfectly. My partner and I would highly recommend the Kinmel 5 *s.

Fantastic food facilities and staff. The New Year masked ball and 5 course meal was out of this world. Will be back soon.

I last staying in this hotel November 2016 and, upon return was pleasantly surprised and also able to up the previous rating of three starts to a very respectable four. The first improvement to note is with the Wi-Fi coverage. It had previously been spotty at best but there is now good coverage throughout the hotel and spa. The housekeeping is beyond reproach and probably the best I have encountered in all the hotels I've stayed at (and I travel a lot for work). They go above and beyond, with clothes folded, put away in cupboard and everything is impeccable tidied and cleaned. Breakfast is fairly simple but quite well done and the wait staff and front desk are friendly and helpful. The gym is pretty basic but gets the job done IMO and the pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room are still incredible and immensely relaxing. Good work, Kinmel!

Small but cozy Spa. Very nice Hotel.

I work for a photobooth company based in north wales that visits the kinmel and kinspa regularly for weddings The staff here are always caring of their customers and they never miss a beat they are always more than happy to attend to our needs too problems are always dealt with quickly and discretely to make sure customers have a good time the house dj, owners and all staff are funny, enthusiastic and always in the party mood!

The food was great and the entertainment was good. Drinks were a little overpriced and there wasn't a wide selection. Overall a fun night.

Lovely place, and great atmosphere, was ruined by over eager staff removing plates before they were finished with, and banging when clearing away. Making it clear we were expected to leave, and then there's the chef arguing and refusing to make more food even though not everyone was fed.

Amazing! The therapists in the spa are the best we've ever had… very professional & just such a relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant Brasserie highly recommended, wonderful service, all staff at the hotel are extremely helpful.

Lovely spa with great Elemis products. Staff are good at recommending the best ones for you. We did the half day and a treatment. Been before and got the Winter package which was amazing value for money. Would recommend this spa especially if you can get a good deal on a package so you can make the most of everything there.

The spa is an extremely relaxing place with excellent facilities. The hot pool which has a large open window on the grounds is an excellent feature and the afternoon tea was a tasty treat.

The spa is small but has a lovely ambience. Chang Mei restaurant food is delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

We stayed overnight and had a really excellent time. We came mainly for the spa, which was absolutely lovely and very relaxing. We also had a three course meal in the brasserie 1786 and cannot speak highly enough of the food, it really is delicious. If I'm being perfectly honest, some of the hotel obviously got missed out on the refurbishment — the lounge bar especially looked straight out of the 1960's. We would stay again.

Really nice place to stay. Good facilities with spa. Grounds were well kept with nice seating areas. Food was good quality. And staff friendly.

Good value for money with also using the spa, had food from the bar menu which was good value and tasty, nice rural location and friendly staff only negative some parts of hotel could do with upgrading.

Nice rooms, beds very comfortable, decent size television. Foods pretty good, only had room service so can't comment on the restaurant or breakfast. Pools very nice, gym is good for cardio. Locations alright but there's not really much nearby in terms of restaurants or things to do if your here with work. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

For the price you don't really get that much. We weren't even allowed to use the relaxation lounge upstairs when we booked the use of the spa (it was our understanding when booking over the phone we could use it). The steam room wasn't working but the receptionist did not say that when we paid and there was a no offer of a reducing a price I as only 2 of the facilities out of 3 were working. On positive, the jacuzzi/whirlpool is really nice.

Nice hotel, TVs a bit small and there's not much nearby foodwise — but it's modern and the spa is really nice.

The hotel and staff were totally brilliant. My partner was ill and they couldnt do enough. Beautiful clean friendly place. Food was spectacular. Compliments to the chef Definately recommended.

I attended for a friends wedding and the day went very well. Plenty of room for the evening do and the room where they married was lovely with a real fire burning behind them.

Lovely location, Staff very helpful. Spa is great and the Thai restaurant was amazing.

Service and room was good, and my wife told me the spa was excellent. The Brasserie restaurant left something to be desired though, only 6 tables and it took 50 mins for the starter to arrive, the starter and main were like warn with the main tasting a bit oily. Desserts were lovely.

Lovely wedding fair. Lots of ideas and a great start to planning our big day.

Only there for a lunch with 200+ others. Apart from a lack of parking for such a big group, the facilities and service were fine. Food was so-so, but that's expected with such a large contingent being served at he same time.

Had our work's do here at the weekend, which was brilliant. We've had a Xmas party here before and they do a nice job of the food, entertainment and decorations. The staff are pleasant and it's generally a very attractive place to visit.

Expensive for what isn't much more than a Holiday Inn. I originally booked a 4-poster room for £170. Got there and they downgraded my room (without asking me), but at £150 it was pretty average. Probably wouldn't go there again.

Spotless great staff lovely food, the Spa was incredible, defiantly return.
