Amazing friendly and welcoming hotel. Fully recommend for all occasions. Child friendly. Plenty of parking. Amazing food.

Had a lovely meal here recommend the Thai Red Curry was very nice. I was impressed. Portion size just right. Staff vrery helpful, kids area was nice size too. Lots of toys for children and to keep them occupied. This is a family friendly place to eat, very clean and spacious. I would definitely go back.

Stayed for two nights very welcoming and modern. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The staff are very polite and friendly.

Just had our daughters wedding here. Omg I can't rate this place enough. They were fantastic from start to finish. Margaret, Scott and all there amazing staff right down to the cleaners. Rooms, food and bar amazing. Highly recommended to anyone. Thank you guy's we couldn't have done it without you all x.

Fantastic venue had pleasure of staying the weekend to attend wedding as decorator and bridesmaid. Margaret, Scott and the team were amazing from the moment we arrived nothing was to much. Food was lovely rooms were great comfortable. Highly recommend but then we always have loved the venue since we got married there few years ago. Well done all at hilcroft xxx.

We attended a wedding here at the weekend (10/02/18). We didn't book a room to stay overnight so I cannot comment on the rooms but the venue is really nice and decor is modern and welcoming. The staff were well organised and it was a seamless process moving us from room to room to change the venue around from ceremony to dinner and finally for the evening reception. All in all a great day was had and helped by the friendly staff, cheap bar prices (not common for a hotel venue) and nice venue visually.

Rooms are clean and comfortable but wish the one I am in had an ice box. Staff is helpful and nice.

Unfortunately no lift and the external celebrations are heard in the rooms… Meals good.

Attended a Christmas Dinner disco event. Venue was crowded, food could have been better (felt sorry for my vegan friend), disco was great.

It's been several years since visiting this established business but it has moved up with the times and surpassed it. Excellent evening at the wedding we attended and would thoroughly recommend to everyone.

Just spent three nights here (October 2017). Great place to stay! Really good service, excellent room, and breakfast was very good — well worth the price for B&B. Evening meals in the restaurant are good quality and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again. Also, my mother stayed in a disabled-access room, and the set-up was excellent.

Lovely venue, staff was good and fast to serve at the bar. Toilets were clean and overall good condition. Good location for a wedding.

We visited the hilcroft having gotten married here 10 years ago. Thankfully the hotel and restaurant have maintained their high standards and we had a great stay. The hotel room was spacious, with a great bathroom offering both a bath and a desperate shower. The bed was a great size and extremely comfy. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and can say we would definitely eat there again, the food was great, as was the service given.

Superb stay, room was very quiet even though it was looking over the main road. Didn't even hear the Thunder early in the morning! Food is excellent. Well positioned hotel for the motorway. Will definitely stay again.

I had lunch here yesterday was treated by my son as it is local I suggested it. My son had a starter and main I just had a Main Tuna cooked lovely 2and a half hours later couldn't leave my son's loo … never complained before about food but felt the need to. Lady I spoke to on the phone was quite defensive telling me that the food was cooked fine and they had sold 4 or 5 after me and that I was quite entitled to go to doctors (was Saturday) I asked if it was fresh and she said yes fresh every day.

Attended the in-house restaurant for my neices birthday. There were 11 of us in total incl 3 kids under 6. The food was well presented, delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were both professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was even a playroom for the kids to help keep them out of mischief. Lovely surroundings as well!

First class food and very welcoming.

We called in at lunch to have a steak, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the staff were polite and cheerful. The food wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth the price paid.

The Hilcroft hotel has always been brilliant for a meal. We've been going there for over twenty years. After eating there two days ago, I can safely say that it was one of the best meals I have had. highly recommended.

Would come back good central location easy to get to.
