Elliott House is a fantastic place to live and I highly recommend it to any student in Edinburgh. Its clean, quiet and has everything you need. Its 15 minutes walk from Princes Street and 5 from a Tesco metro. Its on all the major bus routes to university campuses and you can get anywhere in the city from the near bus stops. The staff are amazing and arrange themed nights and coffee afternoons. They listen with any suggestions and are such an asset to the accommodation.

Very foul smell of sewer in hallways and in the elevator area. Noticed too that some students in the common area were drinking alcohol at 1 pm on a weekday. Also, not for graduate students as the students seemed to be in their late teens and not very serious about studying.

It was fine. The desk clerk was nice and it was close to the city. It did not have free parking unless you parked after 630pm and left by 830am. My room didn't have a tv, no one cleaned the room when we left for the day, and the comforter was coming apart. The bed wasn't very comfortable either. It had a small kitchen next to the bed which was unusual. Would I recommend It? Meh.
