Very nice people and comfortable and clean ensuite room.
I stayed here for work from August to November. Dave and Allison couldn't have made me more welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. The room was spotless, well appointed with everything you'll need for a tea or coffee and a biscuit. The bathroom also was well stocked with toiletries, hand-wash etc. And clean fluffy towels. The breakfast selection borders on the obscene. From a 'Full Scottish', through various cereals, to pastries with all the juices and tea/coffee you can drink. There's plenty to set you up for the day and special requirements were seen to be met with a friendly accommodation. Location is good too; being just at the start of Peterculter village close to all local amenities and right on the main road. Depending on the direction you enter you'll see local pubs, eateries and grocers. There's even a florists, a few beauty parlours, and a shop selling wedding dresses if that's what you're looking for. I'm more than happy to heartily recommend this lovely place to anyone; from couples to lone travelers, to families. There's a room for everyone and a warm welcome to be found at the Furain.

Considering I phoned later in the evening of my visit, Dave and Alison welcomed me to their home. My room was peaceful, bed was very comfortable, shower room was immaculate, assortment of teas and coffee. Breakfast was set in a lovely bright room overlooking the hills. Delicious choices of fresh fruit salad, cereals, juices and the bacon, pancakes and maple syrup, mm. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
