Stayed here a few times now. Great food, friendly staff, good drinks selection. Rooms are quiet and very well furnished. Quiet area of town but easy to walk into the city centre.

Very lovely staff. Lots of off road parking. The menu was great and the wee bit of tablet with coffee was a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

We had a birthday dinner tonight! service not good attitude couldn't care and food not the best. And. Not. Worth it. We commented to the witnesses unfortunately couldn't care!

Lovely setting. Amazing food. It's great to just sit in their large outdoor area and chill.

We had lunch with a friend and her daughter. Good location with friendly staff and kids playground. My wife’s fish and chips was nice as was my chicken. However, the chips were very pale. Nevertheless, we will still go back. Not a cheap lunch at £15 per main course, but it’s nice to have now and again, esp in a nice environment 😊

Food was really poor quality, burger that was not cooked fresh? reheated, cold in the middle. Ordered chicken salad and chicken must have been cooked for hours it was so overdone. This place has gone downhill with there food and for the prices you expect way better.

Great service with a warm smile and made to feel safe at all times.

Had lovely breakfasts here 3 weeks on the trot, so very yummy. Service exemplary and hot tea on tap mmm, Drew. For the price superb.

Very disappointed with our meals tonight (fri 11th sept)
we had 3 portions of ranchers chicken and they had all been over cooked and definitely not worth the money.
my daughter had a burger which was overcooked this was taken off the bill when we complained.
also no wine menus? which gave us a surprise when we got the bill £22.50! for a bottle of white wine.
overall a very disappointing experience.

I had an ovrnight stay this week. The room was lovely. Very comfortable. My evening meal was delicious and the owner and his staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great and served by a lovely lady. All good. Thank you :)

Mid week meal. It was busy for mid week which is always a good sign. Service was very good. Food was very good. Big portions. Not too noisy so good place to have a catch up with friends. The outside area is lovely for warmer evenings. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fabulous place to go for a fly cup or food, I had a draught coke but very watery tasting but the staff were amazing & sorted it with a fantastic attitude. Nothing is too much for Ferryhill House Hotel x.

Having recently stayed and eaten in the hotel I would whole heartedly recommend it. The rooms are delightful and full of mod cons. The bed was really comfortable. All the staff were a delight to meet and very attentive and friendly. I really could not fault them or the service they provide. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Fast service never had plates in front of us for long which is good! Also very good quality food. Was made very welcome and would 150% recommend my friends to come.

The food was ok, shame about the terrible service. Everything was incredibly slow, attitude from the young waitresses was shocking and the manager was not much better. This is now the third time this has happened, should have know better so won’t be back.

The Sunblused Chicken that I had was absolutely appalling did not resemble what was on the menu. I have been visiting the Ferryhill house for the last 40 years and always enjoyed meal. I have also on oçassions visited the establishment on an Summer evening and enjoyed a bottle of red wine whilst sitting outside This meal wasn't even close to the standard I have enjoyed in the past.

Lovely time. Very fun with all the kids about. Very family friendly and friendly without kids. Lovely pub with excellent beer and Whisky selection. Food is great. Rooms are all up a flight of stairs, nice and cozy.

Hidden gem. Good beer. Large outdoor seating area which can be busy in the summer. Welcoming staff and good ambience.

Quite local to me and I have eaten there many times. Allways has great food, I think this is the best fish and chips I have had in many years. Great service, great place. One of my favorites.

First visit here and absolutely loved it. Extensive beer garden thats got to be the best in Aberdeen. Plenty seating and a small play area for the kids. Decor inside is country house chic. Bar was very well stocked with plenty of staff to keep waiting times down. Drinks were surprisingly cheap, on a par with in town prices. Didn't have any food, but a quick look at the menu was impressive. Plenty other folk eating, and the restaurant was full throughout my visit. Well worth a visit.

Excellent Hotel, very friendly staff. The room is large with a good telly. As far as the restaurant goes, it's the best burger I had in my life!

Friendly service. Great food. Lovely setup with window views. We are here from Australia and would recommend this place. Came here night before to have a drink at the bar side. Lots of people sitting at tables outside having a drink and a chat. Great atmosphere. We were staying a few doors up so it was an easy walk after a busy day.

We hadnt been here for a few years, but had seen you had recent renovated your bar so thought we would visit. We were here on Friday past. Beautiful sunny day, so obviously going to be busy. We called a last minute to see if there was a table at the bar, manager said he could find us a table for 2. Arrived at 4.45 already lost of people outside tables all full. Arrived to be greeted with a busy bar. Bar Manager showed us to our table nearby while we ordered drinks. We both …ordered a main, and we could not complain. Food was hot, delicious and well portioned. The bar became busier and busier. Atmosphere great and everyone enjoying the sunshine.
The bar staff were so busy, no one stopped. We went up for drinks and admittedly we had to wait but everyone did. We decided to have desert which we waited a wee while for but couldn’t complain due to the sheer volume of people. Staff were all professional, attentive and apologetic (they didn’t need to be). A special mention to Hannah the waitress who was outstanding. She never stopped. She was efficient, polite and still had a smile of her face! We will defiantly be back soon. Couldn’t fault it. Well done to all the staff for keeping up with the volume of people including the bar, outside and restaurant.

Hadn't eaten at The Ferryhill for a while and was very disappointed at the portion size in comparison to how it used to be. I had beef stroganoff and left feeling hungry. I must have had a max of two tablespoons of rice to accompany this dish. At £15 for this main I wasn't impressed.

Quality food at a reasonable price in nice surroundings. Staff are very pleasant.

Have been to the Ferryhill many times for food and drinks and it's always been great. Went for lunch recently and the food was excellent, service was quick and friendly and the decor was lovely.

Too noisy. Too many tables too close to each other. Very very difficult to have a relaxing conversation. Pity as the conservatory is lovely.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel this past weekend what a lovely room all staff very freindly the place was spotless really enjoyed our breakfast will stay again car parking right at front of hotel just a pity the weather had been so snowy and icy and very cold.

Just back from staying the night at this lovely hotel to celebrate my mams 80th birthday! I can't praise this hotel enough, it was perfect from start to finish! The rooms are spacious and well equipped, well worth every penny. We also had a meal for 20 family members in the restaurant and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are cheerful, friendly and helpful. I will definitely be booking here the next time I'm in Aberdeen! Well done Ferryhill House Hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Spacious cosy environment with bar facilities and food. Breakfast was very good quality. Room offered privacy and decor of a high standard. Would recommend and it's in walking distance to city centre.

I found a foreign object in my lunch, my meal was taken off the bill with no fuss. Otherwise nice place with good service.

Lovely meals rooms come with fridge, tea coffee and ironing facilities. Staff very polite and friendly. Would come here again!

Excellent sticky toffee pudding. We stayed at a guest house across the street and the host highly recommended grabbing a pint and the Cullen skink (it was delicious) at the Ferryhill House Hotel. The service was great!

Went for my sons birthday lunch, food was very good. Nice outdoor space and play area for younger children.

Went for lunch. There's a lighter bites menu and the full menu available. The lighter menu has CLT which is crispy chicken, lettuce tomato in a bun served with coleslaw and fried. For a lighter bite this is actually pretty large. Decent stuff. I'd prefer they sold more craft beer. There's an ale or two on tap but this is all a bit 10 years ago for the beer enthusiast where it's a couple of ales and many generic lagers available which by 2017 is really poor.

Lovely meal, it is very busy but if you visit alone you can usually get a table. Probably best to book if you plan to come as a family.

Food is always excellent, this is our "go to" eatery as we don't have to worry about choice or menu, staff are super friendly and attentive, surroundings cater for every need whether it's in the dining room/ conservatory, something a little more casual in the lounge bar area or outside in the garden on a sunny day, great for children too. Can't recommend it enough!

The service is always very good. The food is value for money & very nice in the bar or dining room. They have an excellent outdoor area with a kids play space & when the sun shines it gets very busy.

The food for our group of 7 arrived very quickly after our order, although the place was quite busy at lunchtime. I ordered a chili which was excellent, slightly spicy. I had a wonderful sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All for a reasonable price. The staff were nice and helpful. I will definitely come back!

Beautiful surroundings, classic interior and a great range of food and drink. Plenty extern tables and grass seating. Highly recommended for a sunny Aberdeen afternoon.

Went for lunch and a couple of drinks, it was a really nice place with a good atmosphere and great food. I would definitely come back.

Great venue with a lovely outside section. Maybe a little bit pricey on the alcohol but there is a decent selection.

Food was excellent, drinks were reasonably priced, and the ambience was warm and inviting.

Five of us went for a late lunch and everyone really enjoyed the food. I had the squid as a starter which I enjoyed and the orange chili dip and mayo was nice. Had the Beef Three Ways as a main and it was great. The steak was done just right and there was so much stew. Definitely for meat lovers. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the surroundings were tastefully decorated.

After my other half was told to "F***" off after pointing out that the person next to her had been standing. 10 minutes and a girl that had just walked up got served right away we decided to leave. Shame, it would be nice if it wasn't run by an incompetent manager called Alison.
