We just spent 2 nights at Carradales and can’t recommend it highly enough. Everything was just perfect. Steve and Maurice are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome and at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing! Steve is so passionate about the food he cooks and rightly so. It was so nice to have well prepared meals with thought put into them instead of the usual vegetarian options we normally get. If you have any dietary requirements Steve will deliver!
Maurice & Steve are very knowledgable of the area and gave us lots of info and recommendations on where to go. The surrounding area is just beautiful and we were very lucky with the weather which was a bonus.
If you are looking to visit the Kintyre Peninsula this is the place to stay. It’s no surprise it was awarded 5 stars.
We had a 4 night stay in August: It was fantastic from start to finish. The owners are great hosts and go above & beyond to make sure you enjoy staying in this beautiful old property.
Room was large, airy, clean, great view, massive comfortable bed. En-suite was modern & clean.
The food! Wow! Breakfast & dinner are amazing — never expected food of such high quality in a guesthouse.
Can’t fault Carradales in any way. If you’re visiting this area & looking for a high quality place to stay — this is it. Highly recommended.
