This place is simply world class. Stayed here for one night on business and not only is the place beautiful, so are the people and the breakfast is outstanding. Highly recommended and will be staying again!

Can't rate this place highly enough, so lovely and friendly and breakfast was delicious. Room very comfortable and well-equipped and a great location for visiting the broads. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Such a lovely place. The room we had was fantastic, and the owners were very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts had such a selection of home produced product.

Greeted by an extremely pleasant lady and shown to a lovely room. Enjoyed the most peaceful night and thoroughly enjoyable breakfast. Good conversation from the hosts, without being intrusive. Will definitely visit again… What more can I say.

My partner and I spent a lovely night at this beautiful B&B (25/11/17). The hosts were very accommodating and our room really tastefully decorated. We had the small double, and it suited us perfectly. I've spent many a night in both B&Bs and hotels, and I have to admit that the breakfast was the best I've ever experienced. I had kedgeree which was wonderful, and my partner had a full English and it was perfect. Will definitely look forward to visiting again. Credit to the hosts and their lovely dog, Jess x.

Only stayed 1 night sadly for business purpose… but what a beautiful treasure I found. Very warm and friendly welcome in beautiful surroundings… great start to the day with perfectly cooked breakfast… very enjoyable stay… everything was wonderful… Hope to stay there again.

We had a fantastic weekend and were made to feel very welcome by Jill, Phil, Jack and Jess the dog. Cotenham Barn is set in a quiet location with access to a public footpath (which passes at the edge of the grounds), taking you to Ranworth –  where you can sit with an ice-cream and watch the boat activity on the Broads. We hired canoes at Salhouse Broad and paddled to Horning. Here there are plenty of pubs to stop for refreshment on the water’s edge. Woodfordes Brewery is 5 minutes away with good food at the adjacent Fur and Feather Inn; a beer sampler is a chance to taste what’s on offer. A lovely place to relax in beautiful gardens with a small wooded area as well. Super breakfast with homemade bread and jam and eggs from the 3 chickens that wander the garden during the day. Thoroughly recommended!

We visited Cotenham Barn to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday. Jill has been absolutely amazing from the very first email. Our group of 7 was easily accommodated with everyone feeling like they had their own space alongside using the cottage as a communal area. Jill recommended a fantastic local takeaway for Friday night so everyone could eat together and she even set up the table for us so we could eat as soon as everyone arrived — above and beyond!
The grounds are beautiful and are made even better by the variety of wildlife… although Jess and the chickens are definitely extended family! Alice, Bea and June (the chickens) also contribute to breakfast by providing fresh eggs and this compliments the rest of the delicious options perfectly.
What stands apart from other B&Bs is the fact you feel like you’re being welcomed into a family home rather than it being their business. If you want to stay somewhere where it’s all about the personal touches, stay at Cotenham Barn.

What an amazing time we had … clean… well equipped yurt with everything (if not more) that we needed. Phil and jill were the perfect hosts x.
Free wandering chickens. Beautiful sunflowers… natural pond and visit from a hedgehog were added extras and of course the beautiful star lit sky where my husband saw the milky way and a shooting star … to top it all off a fantastic few days away. Highly recommended xx.

Such a beautiful setting with a wonderful family! The cottage is charming with all the modern amenities you could ask for! The B&B rooms are lovely and the food is delicious! So many waking trails to enjoy! I highly recommend staying here!
