After a traumatic experience because of another bed and breakfast we booked into decoy barn at the last minute to be greeted by the most wonderful people.
Arrived late on at night and was welcomed by a cup of tea and a muffin — the room was spotless and very comfortable
The hosts John and Suzanne could not do enough for us and the breakfast was the best we had had in a round Britain tour of 4 other hotels
All the extra little touches adds up to make this bed and breakfast achieve higher than most 5 star hotels
We would highly recommend this wonderful Norfolk gem

We were on a weekend break, and from the moment we arrived to when we left we were made to feel very welcome. The room was above and beyond our expectations, as was the breakfast. Definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. A must if you are in the area. From the moment we arrived it has been superb.

A wonderful find, the owners are so friendly and helpful with really good local knowledge. The rooms are so comfortable and well presented with everything you need and extras eg a safe, wine glasses, and pretty teapots/ coffee pots. A real bonus to have the veranda with garden furniture for each room overlooking a beautiful garden, the hanging baskets/ tubs are amazing. Everything you might want for breakfast is provided and all the cooked breakfasts are freshly cooked for each guests. We could highly recommend this B & B.

Stunning! John and Suzanne are so welcoming and their service is second to none. The breakfast is first class and the rooms are very comfortable. Loved the rainfall shower and the little kitchenette had all the necessities. Would Def recommend to all such good value! Thank you xxx.

Brilliant location service and food.

Cannot recommend this location highly enough, although reluctant to share this gem; the owners are friendly, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast starts the day well. Even left a present and card in my room because my wife let slip it was my birthday!

Worth taking the trouble to find in the dark! Very comfortable and attentive service. Everything as you want it or ask for.

This place is a hidden gem. Cosy generously appointed rooms. Attentive service from the host couple. Great breakfasts. Would recommend this a place to stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights & what a lovely place it was. Really nice welcome by John & Suzanne, served with tea & muffins which we had in the beautiful garden just outside our room. Amazing breakfast which was plentiful. Highly recommend a visit, we will certainly return.

Lovely, very clean and excellent staff.

Stayed at The Decoy Barn for two nights midweek, and I think we were allocated the suite but not the second bedroom. This meant that we also had use of the kitchenette, which was great and stocked with loads of refreshments! The room was lovely and cosy, with a great bed and bathroom. We were greeted on arrival by John and Suzanne, who made us a cup of tea and brought it and some cupcakes to our room! Both hosts were fantastic throughout our stay, and friendly. John was helpful with local knowledge and helped us plan our activities, and gave us a picturesque route to take. We visited Great Yarmouth for fish and chips (and amusements! ), Wroxham Barns (which has some great shops, produce and a petting farm), and Horsey Gap to see seals (see pictures). Breakfast was cooked during the time allotted, but when we wanted it, so it was fresh, it contained local produce and was brilliant (particularly some locally smoked kippers). We would definitely stay again! Oh and the gardens are beautiful, see picture.

We were nicely welcomed and the room was great and had everything we needed. The location is really nice. The breakfast was great. I definitely recommend this place and would love to stay there again.

Best B&B ever. Purpose built immaculate accommodation. Lovely friendly welcome with nothing too much trouble, cup of tea on arrival with buns and chocolates. Stayed in many B & B's, many excellent ones, but none compare to this. Only regret, should have stayed another night, will be back in the summer.

From the moment we arrived John greeted us outside and offered to help us inside with our luggage and providing us a drink before taking us to our room and explaining about the breakfast order. The room itself was in immaculate condition, and I truly mean immaculate condition. There was not a fault to be found within the room and there were some lovely tiny touches that stood out to me. Firstly a hook right next to the shower door… within easy reach and doesn't leave you searching with your eyes closed for a towel. Secondly having arrived on Easter Sunday, found the provision of an Easter egg and chocolates a very thoughtful touch. In addition within the room the bed was so comfortable both myself and my partner slept through our alarms the first morning, oops! There was also under floor heating which kept the room at the perfect temperature. Within the bathroom there was 2 large towels, 2 hand towels, 2 flannels and a bath mat provided. All of these were of high quality which extended through to the provided toiletries. A stand out feature to me was the shower which was hot and provided a powerful pressure. Outside the room each room is provided with its own bench and garden furniture which I can imagine is very well used in the summer. There are also torches outside the rooms as it will be dark if you are leaving early or arriving late. There is also a dedicated smoking area if required.

We have stayed in many B&B's but not one like this one… Owners are very welcoming and friendly we stayed over the Easter period and on our arrival were immediately offered tea and we're each given a cake with a chocolate Bunny on top! Breakfast was fresh hot and very tasty They couldn't do enough for you We will definitely be coming back 1st class B&B Very clean beautifully decorated with that extra touch beautiful gardens with somewhere safe to park the car.

Very nice place. Very clean and tidy and the owners were more then welcoming. They were more then helpful and couldnt ask for more. They helped in every way they could. Bus stop right out side and a lovely little pub opposite. The only thing was trying to get a wheel chair across the gravel carpark. Apart from that I was 100% satisfied. Especially with the customer service.

This was a lovely weekend for both of us and the food was delicious. Nice and restful thank you hope to see you again.
