Lovely hotel, lovely location and staff. Highly recommended.

Try serving breakfast when its already paid for and having clean rooms that dont smell of sewerage.

We booked a room on Thursday and yesterday it was cancelled without warning.
Our money was taken immediately but a refund will take up to 15 days which is unacceptable as that brings us to the date we were meant to travel.

Beautiful place & surroundings, food.

Spent two weeks training here and the staff were always helpful friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

On arriving at 22.30hrs we were greeted by members of staff, in total I counted 3 so I'm going to assume 2 who were dressed in a black uniform were waitresses / bar staff and the male was either the front of house or the manager. We had 2 rooms booked 1 x twin room at a cost of £99 And one double room at a cost of £95. We were shown to our room and told if we needed anything to use the phone dialling 0. Thanked the chap and settled in. Then it all went wrong. It wasn't late so I thought Tv. I turned on the power and then looked for the remote, nowhere in sight. I looked in drawers, under the bed, on top of the TV noting my hand going through the cobwebs at the side of it, someone missed that area when cleaning, bear in mind I was looking for a TV remote, not cobwebs, this wasn't being filmed for 3 in a bed. In the end I couldn't find it. So I grabbed the phone and spoke to a chap at reception, I asked where would I be able to find the remote to the TV? To which he replied on the top if the sideboard next to the bed, now I remember not walking in with black glasses on or a guide dog and replied I've looked everywhere, in the cupboard, drawers, under the bed, etc. He asked what make the TV was to which I replied the make stated on the front of the tv. He said he would find one and bring it straight up. Result. No, he arrived 2 mins later with a universal remote which didn't work. Then proceeded to go off finding another after I told him it didn't work.

Awesome and set in a beautiful countryside setting, staff were fantastic and always very helpful! Would stay again!

The bed was small and uncomfortable. The room was tiny. The shower drained on the floor and had mold in the corners. The grounds were pretty on one side but completely run down once you go around to the back. The staff was friendly and accommodating as much as they could be and the food at the restaurant was good.

A super place off the beaten track but had Sunday lunch here twice. Gluten free friendly, excellent prices £20 for 3 courses. Wonderful views from restaurant. Can sit outside.

Lovely food. Had a great deal on Groupon however wouldn't have paid full price. Outside seating would be great on a sunny day.

I stayed at Winford Manor over the weekend after being a guest of a wedding from a different venue. The staff were very helpful on check-in. I managed to get to my room and leave my luggage before going to the wedding. I returned at 1am to be greated by staff and shown to my room. The bed mattress was soft and I got a good night's sleep on it. Breakfast the next morning had lots of choice, the Winford breakfast was nice but it could of been bigger as it had just one of everything. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the shower tiles, it's in need of a deep clean, but nothing a bit of mould spray can't fix. Hope to see you all soon Ben.

Staff were helpful. Room was clean and basic. Room was cold as under floor heating had not been set high enough and took a long time to heat up. Dinner was fine but a bit over priced. Would stay again if flying from Bristol. Hotel has reasonable parking facilities and bus transfer.

Staff friendly. We had 2 roast beef dinners, the beef was tough and grisly, both the Yorkshire pudding and the stuffing was soggy, veg and gravy ok. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Very nice building, excellent polite staff, done best to resolve room problem very quickly food nice and reasonably priced. Bed not the best wasn't hotel quality. Room nice but quality of furniture ie side tables etc obviously not quality befitting the hotel. Biggest giveaway was silvercrest kettle. A brand owned by Lidl. The cheap discount supermarket. Nevertheless will return again.

Lovely staff and food. Shame the mattress was full of poking out springs everywhere. Very uncomfortable. New shower but luke warm water… Nice in summer but not ideal down a lane in snow blizzards…

Really lovely Sunday lunch. Attentive staff. So impressed, we have booked for mothers day, another lunch and a birthday afternoon tea.

I bought the 7 course taster menu on Groupon for my boyfriend's Christmas present (much better than another tshirt! ). We visited the venue on the 3rd March. The food was absolutely stunning. There wasn't a single thing in the whole 7 course menu that we didn't love. The highlight was the Parisienne Potatoes. How you can make a potato taste that good I do not know. I could eat that every day for the rest of my life and never get bored of it. Although the food was amazing, we did wait 40 minutes for the first of our courses to arrive. We also had the wine flight, which was great value and the wines were gorgeous but they were a little late coming out on at least three of the courses. The decor of the hotel is a little lacking. There were candles on all the tables and in various other parts of the restaurant, but none of them were lit. It felt rather cold and without any nice touches. To be fair, the same went for the reception and the bar area. No warmth. It would be perfect if the decor was just a bit better. We will definitely go back for the tasting menu again though!

The photos on the website are very misleading. We were shown to a chalet bedroom that was tired and actually outside of the hotel. It was a very Strange and uncomfortable night. Food was below par. The place seemed understaffed. Not impressed. Will never stay there again.

Went for Christmas lunch, very disappointed, never eaten food sitting in my coat before, food service was slow and food lukewarm warm.

Nice hotel, I liked the rooms: comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms. Staff is very nice. There is a parking lot structure here, it is only few minutes away from Bristol (by car). Perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Breakfast was good but there was no coffee served! Only instant coffee, and no soya milk. Dinner here is a little bit expensive, but it is beautifully served, and it was not bad.

Relaxing start to an overseas trip. We've stayed at Winfield Manor several times before flying from Bristol Airport. Rooms are attractive and clean, stsff are friendly and efficient. Transfers are hassle free.

Nice staff, good food but limited menu.

Room very comfortable and had tea and coffee facilities, staff very friendly and helpful, even put us out breakfast at 3.30 am as early flight and they dropped us off as well.

Very quiet hotel. Perfect to stay and park when you go on holiday from BRISTOL AIRPORT. Good friendly staff.

The accomodation looked tired. There was mould in the shower which is easily curable. The carpets were dirty. We could not connect to the Wi-Fi. The shower did not work properly and there was no instructions to adjust shower head so it worked better overhaul the accomodation did not live up the exceptional grounds it was located on.

Lovely staff, food is great, nice location however rooms a little let down by being due an update soon. As a stopover it's fine.

My Daughter Had her wedding there last aug 2016 It was a most gorgeous day The staff were exceptional The rooms were lovely. The wedding was held outside and was magical and the reception was held in a giant Marquee The food was bloody gorgeous All in all it was the best day we could of wished for Thankyou Winford for a lovely day xx.

Restaurant meal was excellent and served by very pleasant professional staff. Bed comfortable however bedroom very warm and no air con! Also no ironing board in room, ask for one at reception. Beautiful surrounding countryside. Worth staying.

WOW, what a beautiful Manor House the setting is breathtaking from the sweeping drive to the manicured maze on the lawn, then the ducks on the dew pond to the spectacular views of the mendip hills.
After being greeted by lovely reception staff and ken the owner we were taken to our room which was modern and spotlessly clean.
We went to the bar area which was so relaxing and they have perfectly merged old with new to make it even more unique. Although the bar menu here offered much choice and great food options we decided to eat in the restaurant to enjoy one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time all THREE courses were superb as was the MALBEC wine lol!. Breakfast also served here — full English at its best and with those amazing views WOW.
Before we left we were shown around the Manor House by Penny (as we were the day before by Ken) and privileged to witness first hand the amazing ongoing refurbishment.

Only had Sunday lunch, but it was good food and good service. Staff were friendly.

Excellent airport hotel. Great service even at 4am in the morning!

Sadly we went there today and had the worst ever double expresso and tea. We wanted to politely pay and leave but the bill was over £17 for two terrible double expresso's and a tasteless tea. I did feel that I then had to complain and we were let off the coffees which was good but I wonder if they have ever tried there coffee and tea. I really hope they are able to sort that out. Good luck with that.

It's a great Hotel. We used it 4 yrs ago, and twice in the last week. It's a nice building. The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable. Above all the staff are friendly and always happy to help. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit the Bristol area. We love it's proximity to the airport, as I suspect do a lot of their clients. It would be easy for them to rest on their laurels with so much airport business on hand, but they always make you feel as though they're delighted to have your business.

Quiet, clean. Standard breakfast continental with optional fee.

Good service for your money.

It is a mixture of styles, from the new refurbished bar (contemporary) to roaming free range ducks outside (country style? ) I think it has potential for when it is refurbished soon, but It needs some TLC. Good luck.

Excellant service and food.

Dined there Sat. July 17, after a week in New York. Wasn't expecting an outstanding meal but that's what we had! The Vichyssoise was the best ever — even beat the one's I've had in Paris etc. The main meal my husband and I had was excellent, the vegetables finely cut and such a medley of flavours. The chocoloate and hazlenut torte with Guiness ice-cream was to die for, accompanied by a complimentary dessert wine. Absolutely outstanding, as were the staff. Definintely a 10 out of 10. Reasonable as well — what more could one ask for.

Modern and clean rooms in lovely grounds make the stay nice. Very convenient for the airport with the hotels transfer service. Reasonable prices.
