Fabulous food, lovely hosts, very special place to dine.

A hidden and very classy/classic gem. Superb venue for a special night out (and there are bedrooms — probably a good thing as the wine list is enticing with fine wines by the glass). Wonderful food from fresh, seasonal and mainly local ingredients.

My wife and I decided to have a quiet before Christmas lunch out. Best we've had for many years. Excellent and beautifully presented dishes. I agree whole completely with everything already mentioned.

Cannot be beaten. One of the best Ollie is one of the best chefs Rebecca runs front of house superbly. Their bedrooms are fantastic and the grounds stunning.

We had an amazing meal at the langford great surroundings and service. Nothing was too much trouble even though we booked for 6 persons late to celebrate my sons exam results. Everyone wondered why we had not been before. Definetly up there with the best.

I rarely write reviews, however this was such a lovely place, with excellent, attentive but informal service and wonderful food that I thought I would share our experience.

We stayed for 2 nights in May 2017. The setting is delightful with well tended gardens in a very peaceful setting down narrow lanes. The standard of cuisine was excellent, the wine very accessible and priced in bands for ease, and the welcome warm. It is a lovely old stone building, furnished to a high standard and our room was exceptional. All in all, it exceeded our expectations. A real find.

Wonderfull evening spent at The Langford super food and very welcoming from the moment the front door is opened till you leave. I would recommend for a special occasion x.

Stayed at The Langford the night before and the night of my wedding. Rebecca was the most gracious host. The house, the hospitality and the service cannot be faulted. The Nathaniel Barnard room is beautiful. Rebecca went out of her way to ensure we were well looked after. Dined on the Friday evening and the food is the best we have ever had in Somerset. Delighted to have found this place and will be returning regularly.

Last night was the start of my birthday celebrations and what a start. My brother and sister in laws joined me for dinner at The Langford, I had been told it was a good place to eat well it certainly was. We had an excellent meal in such lovely surroundings. Sadly my husband was unwell and could not join us, never mi d we are returning for our wedding anniversary in June. Thank you for excellent food and an evening to remember.

Care, courtesy and superb food — definitely my favourite place for a celebration. We have been there many times and will be back.

Just been for a naughty mid week lunch and what a special treat it was! From the melt in the mouth canapés to the perfectly cooked turbot and then the most heavenly quince soufflé, I am a very happy bunny. 2x3 course lunches, aperitifs, a very good bottle of wine and liqueurs all for under £100. Wow! Feel very spoiled and well looked after!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay for a weekend with lovely hosts Olly and Rebecca. Total relaxation and with an amazing evening meal and sumptuous breakfast it really is a hidden gem. Well worth a visit indeed.
