It's OK. Needs refurbishment. Suffice to say it was a place to sleep, shower then off to work. Carpets definitely need change as the give off a smell luckily it was hot and left the window open for fresh air. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Been here a few times on our way to Cornwall. Always had a positive experience. Very dog friendly hotel and rooms very spacious. Only giving 4* as the hotel and the rooms need to be updated.

Gave 4 stars as you get what you pay for. Basic stay, clean and tidy the free Wi-Fi in your room is more than you get at some other (more expensive) hotel chains. All in all couldnt knock it for a 1 night stop over.

Clean services. Stopped overnight with our camper van in the spacious car park. Good breakfast served by pleasant helpful staff. :-D.

Handy stop over location rooms good size and clean but a little dated.

Enjoyed the stay, staff were friendly the room was amazing overall a great experience.

Beds were like sleeping on soft wobbly jelly. Neither of us slept really at all. Cheap but not worth it.

Had to stay whilst snowed in. Unfortunately no hot water due to weather. Room comfortable, staff very helpful.

Had no choice due to severe driving conditions so last minute £60 for basically a bed for the night. No hot water so couldn't shower and unhelpful reception staff with an attitude problem. Wouldn't stay again complete disappointment compared to Alderley Edge who's night porter Darren couldn't do enough to help everyone.

Hotel is a bit tired looking, shower didn't work that well. Staff were helpful.

Very basic room and not particularly clean and there was a peculiar smell. The bathroom fan didn't work so couldn't have a shower as we were afraid the steam would activate the fire alarm.

Location good. Cheap price, room needed a good clean or burning down.

Fab service clean very good value for money.

Guy at check in was friendly and helpful. Room ok except no bodywash etc in bathroom. No coffee or milk on welcome tray and one of the cups hadn't been washed. We were tired so accepted this. Too tired to moan. Then when we got extra pillows there was a chip container on shelf… with old hard boiled eggs in. I think the last people in the room must have been upset by something.

Second to none. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a brew on arrival! How can you better that!?

Bathroom mouldy and dirty. Staff unfriendly. Could do with some deep cleaning and refurbishing. Would not stay there again.

Easy check in process. Pleasant lady on the desk welcoming me, check in was completed in 30 seconds. Rooms are standard but clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. If you driving up the m5 north towards the services it can quite difficult to find the hotel (It is on the south side services). More signage needed especially at night on the northbound services but also the lanes leading to the entrance to the southbound services and the barrier.

Hi Thought the reception & manager very good. Had room 7 good & clean. Bathroom needs refurbishment, bath stained, basin showing cracks, not sure what happened with the Ceiling! Mattress needs changing (uncomfortable night with little support. Like the idea of the meal deal. Parking system good. Regards.

Old, out of date, due a massive overhaul! Booked a room for 2 adults and a child, had to make the single bed ourselves! Rude staff, no actual restaraunt Just a road chef cafe and overall building/room was filthy! Will not return! Ever!

Just fit for purpose not best place to stay in unless you are desperate.

Kids beds weren't ready, beds were soiled and old mattress you can feel the springs, no soap in dispenser, all over clean apart from the soiled beds the kids had to sleep on. So a lot of work to be done, Travelodges we slept in always top quality mattresses beds made before you walk in for kids, so days inn you have to pull up your socks.

Good location to stop on the way to the south west, clean easy to access and great value for money. Costa and Mcd' s in the service area.

I'm pregnant and had been travelling for 10 hours so needed to rest. Was woken up 6am by doors slamming for an hour, people banging on doors trying to get back into they're rooms. Complained to reception, the man was rude and patronising and didn't apologise. Awful awful place!

Dous what it says on the tin… Good hotel chain and you know what you're getting for your money.

Average. Room was blazingly hot when we got there and the place smells a bit. Felt like going into a nursing home. Still, it's a relatively cheap room for the night.

Crap coffee crap milk uncomfortable bed.

Great for accessing the Taunton area. Great amenities.

Extremely dated. And some furniture damaged.

39 pounds from the hotel to town but if they opend the back gate to the back road it would have been 15. Best not to stay there the travel lodge is in town and it will cost less then having to get a taxi to town. Also duty manger is a very nasty man. I will be working hard to get an applagy from this unfriendly place.

Good location (on motorway)

Was nice but nothing there.

Room was average however the free Wi-Fi was not working.

Friendly, no fuss welcome. Basic room, but lovely and clean with comfy bed and pillows, everything smelled nice! My room was facing the car park but traffic noise from the motorway was just a distant hum. Very helpful guy on reception (thanks for the recommendation for somewhere to eat and the map to get there).

Good stopover-bit noisy from M5. Costa and shop open late.

I have given full marks for this hotel not because it is a plush, dream holiday hotel but because for a hotel at a motorway service station it really was excellent. Firstly, the receptionist was fantastic. The price of the room was great and the room itself was clean, tidy with everything you would need for a nights stay. The food at the actual motorway services were as you would expect so again, no surprises but I could not have asked for more from the hotel or the staff.
