We have stayed here a couple of times now and have always had great service!
Gorgeous hotel, great location with only a 5 minute walk to the train station to get too Bath or Bristol!
The manager and staff are very friendly, professional and they make you feel so welcome! The food is so yummy and good portion sizes — breakfasts are cooked to order and are fresh! (the vanilla crème brûlèe is out of this world tasty! ). Thankyou for another fantastic stay! We will be back! 🤗

The owner Jane & her staff are so friendly; the building/restaurant oozes charm & the food as usual was fabulous.

We had dinner here last night. We received a warm welcome and attentive staff.
The food was lovely and the tempura prawn starter was a firm favourite with the family. The steak, duck and fish were well cooked and the chips were scrummy!
It would have been nice if the fire was on as it was a cold and wet evening but that’s a minor detail. Over all highly recommended x.

Friendly, helpful staff and beautifully home cooked food with a twist.
The building is from the 17th century so has plenty of character and there is a sheltered garden for a drink or meal outside.

Me and my partner had an amazing weekend here. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed the night in the tower room which is a beautiful room. We also had are evening meal here which was out of this world and would definitely return and recommend friends here.

Had works Christmas do here, staff so helpful and good service, plenty of tasty food and drinks. Lovely table decorations, really enjoyed it.

We were a party of 4 to celebrate my daughters birthday. We had the afternoon tea which was delicious, lovely finger sandwiches, selection of beautifully baked cakes scones jam and cream, refillable tea and coffee. Service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend The Old Manor House.

How refreshing to find a truly wheelchair friendly old building, we were able to enjoy the quaint ‘old pub’ feel within this beautiful building on the edge of Keynsham and within an easy walk of the chocolate quarter. This is a great alternative eating out venue and looks to have a pretty garden which we hope to use in the summer. The host could not have been more accommodating, although clearly busy. Oh, and the food was good too! Thanks, see you again soon.

We had are Wedding here, beautiful place, but Jane will promise you anything to get your money. Be aware that you must pay for all the 9 rooms even if you haven’t filled them. She tends to lie and will not deal with complaints. Two of the staff were very nice and the cleaners, Meals were muddled up. Buffet was less than was stated and agreed and taken away far too early. The master bedroom bed was falling apart and a health issue. The towel rail had fallen off… she only after your money and doesn’t care…

Very nice room, rustic. Bathroom at minimum. Bad Wi-Fi depending on the room. Nice restaurant.

A real home from home experience. Great staff, food and welcome from Jane and her team. Nothing is too much trouble. I stay a lot and eat here lots. Always excellent. Except Molly.

Great place to stay, breakfast was filling and evening meals are large. Bar area with fire very cosy.

Expensive for what is was and no car parking spaces despite advertising a car park. Very nice breakfast.

The room I stayed in (and I would imagine all rooms) was very dated (dark woods, red curtains) and unfortunately was right beside a noisy extractor fan (for the kitchen, I believe) which started up around 7 — so if like me you are a light sleeper, don't accept room 6! Aside from the style of the room, I would say I found the bed very comfortable and the room/bathroom (shower was quite lacking in water pressure) were both very clean I didn't have breakfast, so cannot comment on the food Staff that I came into contact with were pleasant and helpful, but I found being unable to have a drink when I came in the hotel at 1030 unnaceptable, I feel as a hotel guest you should at the Very least expect drinks service until 11pm All in all, the positives of the pleasant staff and clean room just about outweigh the negatives.

Jane, thank you for making my wedding day so special. The bedrooms were fantastic, the Christmas decorations in the Hotel made my day so wonderful. The food was outstanding, the staff so friendly and helpful, especially Tina! If I could give you more than 5 stars I would! And, that's not all the breakfast the next morning. Oh my word, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! You are brilliant and so is your hotel.

Very friendly welcome, lovely clean, comfortable room. A little noisy but part of its character; it is an old lovely building.

Staff is friendly, rooms have great character. Dinner was excellent, bathroom clean, bed comfortable and clean. Shower, no bath, no view. Portraits everywhere, low sealing, beams, mind your head, if you are tall. Car park at rear. Tesco next door.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay summer or winter months the rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have a lovely bar with great wines and spirits to choose from then you can sit down by the fire place and injoy the company of your friends and family. The food is amazing and the breakfast is good to, just the thing to set you up for your working day if you are down on business. And the owner is a incredible host along side her friendly staff. Ps amazing Sunday roasts but I would book as it very popular.

The Old Manor is such a ridiculously lovely place, quaint, comfortable, and with very friendly staff. Food is astronomically expensive, but of amazing quality. Eating there is only for special occasions, but both times we've done so it's been fantastic. However, the bar is normally priced (cheaper than Bath or Bristol pubs), and a lovely, quiet place to go for a pleasant chat in wingbacked chairs by the fire.

Cosy and lovely staff. They make a great Gin cocktail here.

What a gem! As with many such establishments there is much that could be improved here but all of it minor. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The dinner menu, whist not being adventurous was none the less full of flavour. I might be inclined to have multiple starters next time. I was particularly impressed by two members of staff, one who clearly wanted to give better service and another who went beyond the call of duty. All in all I will definitely consider staying here again.

This is a fantastic inne. Built in 1609, it is quaint, the food if great, the bar is cozy and the people were wonderful.

Built in the 1600s and last decorated in the 1700s this hotel was nice enough with friendly accommodating staff. Don't expect much from the free Wi-Fi (we couldn't use it in our room) nor from decor, it's quite dated. £90 per night for a double room with breakfast is not bad, not good.

Went for afternoon tea to celebrate my friends 50th, thought it was very poor. Not enough sandwiches made for party of 20. Gluten free cakes not supplied altho was told before arrival that someone in our party would need that, they managed the gluten free sandwiches. The food was just all put on plates on the side not in nice afternoon teas cake stands. Also the coffee and tea was supplies in pump thermos flasks, surely you could of had teapots! No one came in the room the whole time we were there to see if everything was OK. Was cold in room. Very poor service would not recommend.

We went in for desserts and coffee in the evening, and had a very pleasant time sat in the bar area. The food was good (although the coffee wasn't great) and the lady at the bar was warm and friendly. There's a lovely big open fire, comfy chairs, and nice decor. It could do without the incongruous pop music, but otherwise is very lovely.

Went there recently with a group of girlfriends to celebrate one of our friends birthdays, and had afternoon tea cannot recommend this enough cakes were delicious so were the sandwiches, the staff were lovely and friendly — If you get a chance go.

£17 for 3 bits of lamb and some new potatoes. The colly cheese was hard. Going to Bonzo for desert as I don't want to spend another penny in this place. … I will never go back.

The staff and the locals in this place are brilliant the rooms are really nice and comfortable the food there is well worth a call in and try you will not be disappointed at all a good atmosphere at all times to some it up hotel very good pub brilliant food second to none staff and locals some of the best people you will ever meet.

I especially liked how the sliding bolt was on the OUTSIDE of my bathroom door! Nice quaint hotel with lovely character.
