A lovely French feel. Charming waitresses and lovely cuisine… Its not expensive either.

Was visiting Frome for the day and found this place on TripAdvisor. Reserved a table for lunch and were immediately seated and given menus. It was so hard to choose between the moules or the galettes. My partner and I ordered the cheese, bacon and creme fraiche galette with a side of fries, and we were immediately delighted, as my partner is from France, and this year to visit his family has been put on hold, and this filled that void that is the wonderful food we have with his family annually. Anytime we are back in Frome, we're for sure going to be coming back. Service was great, and the food was incredible.

Such a great evening at Bistro Lotte. Superb selection of wines and a great cocktail menu. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is top quality.

Haven't been out for a long time with just me and my husband. It was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and it was very relaxed atmosphere. Everything about Bistro Lottie's was superb x.

Charming place, eaten there many times, always great food and service. Particularly recommend the boilliabaisse but they also do a cracking steak frites.

Had an amazing meal here last night and we won’t hesitate in recommending it highly enough.
Every course was fantastic from the scallops, salmon tartar to the creme brûlée, T-bone steak, and Gigot of Lamb!

We were able to get a table for an early evening dinner to this wonderful bistro that opened in our town in February. All I can say is we left smiling and full from scrumptious food. The bill was ridiculous compared to other places we have eaten and had to spend more than £100.00. We did not scrimp on our choices and everything was delicious. Can't wait to introduce friends and family. The Talbot Inn is now second to Bistro Lotte. Thank you to the attentive staff and wonderful kitchen. May you continue to be bustling and delivering excellence. See you soon.

Great place for a lunch in Frome. Though we were on the edge of the kitchen closing time for lunch, the staff were really accomodating and the kitchen stayed on for us which was really welcome. The food tasted lovely and the environment was really inviting. A real gem for Frome to have.

Nice local coffee shop. Has a good selection of gin, seating is wooden and flooring is as well. They server bottled cider as well. Service is friendly and welcoming.

Very comfortable clean and well decorated rooms. Lotte and her team are lovely and so helpful. The food was particularly good. A little piece of France in Mendip!

This was recommended to us and proved to be excellent. The food was good quality and decent sized portions. The staff were very attentive considering it was a very busy Friday night. We would definitely go there again.

Wow. What a great place. Beautifuly presented, clean, fresh, modern rooms to stay in. The loveliest, most friendly welcoming staff.
The Bistro is wonderful as well. We were treated to a delicious breakfast as part of renting our room. Next time we need to stay overnight in Frome, we're coming back here. What a fantastic hidden gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending it to our friends and family.

A super restaurant! Small but excellent menu for lunches. Good choice of wines. Friendly service and a lovely sense of interior space.

Just smashing. We went in having spotted it the weekend before. This is JUST how a local bistro shiuld be. Great food, feels family run, and they let us stay nattering until late. Oh and they ran down the street after me when I left my hat!

We came here to celebrate our engagement and I am so glad we did! Frome, already brimming with lovely places to eat in the evening, is all the richer for its opening! Attentive and friendly staff, scrummy food, perfect portion sizes, lots of lovely choices of drink and a cosy, buzzing atmosphere. Loved it!

Although the Bistro has only been open a week, it feels like it has been there for longer. It is just what Frome needs. A breath of fresh air, with the classic Bistro food cooked with heart. Served with a smile and efficient grace. As for the prices the owners have got it bang on compared to the other surrounding food outlets in town. Not only will you leave the Bistro satisfied with their food but with change in your pocket too.

I thought this seemed promising — just a coffee and hot chocolate — a good atmosphere and service was fine. There was an element of disorganisation between cafe and kitchen which looked worse than it probably was — but piled up dishes on the counter to the kitchen do not look good. Little bit homespun and maybe dogs are not ideal in places that serve food but more good than bad and will visit again.
