Just home from a fabulous weekend in Bath and staying at the Roseate Villa. The hotel was in a brilliant location just a few minutes walk into the city. It was spotlessly clean, the bedroom spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were really great, individually freshly cooked. As for the staff. Wow. So helpful, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you for making us very welcome, including Wilf our dog. We will be back. Sue, Sean and Wilf.

Had a wonderful stay here. A lovely room with views. Tasty coffee ☕ and cake on arrival. Fabulous breakfasts with a fruity shot to get your tastebuds going. Great service and free parking. Walk into town within 5 minutes — what's not to love? ❤

The vary personable service and almost homely surroundings.

Would highly recommend staying at this lovely and friendly hotel. Off road parking in the hotel grounds, lovely food can fault anything. Just a 10 min walk from the Roman Baths and everything else around it. Will be coming back soon to this hotel 😃👍🏻

Superb food — we had afternoon tea and breakfast. Amazing choice, lovely food. Friendly and helpful staff who were absolutely lovely. Great position — 5 mins walk from centre. Free parking. Modern and comfortable rooms tastefully decorated. Warm and comfortable. We would definitely go back — staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Wonderful 2 night stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy too. The villa is only a short walk to the centre of Bath so the perfect location for exploring the city. Highly recommend.

My husband and I are just back home from staying four nights At this amazing hotel. The staff are attentive and helpful without being overbearing and will do anything to make your stay special. The hotel itself is beautiful and located near the centre of the city but just far enough out to be peaceful. A five/ten minute walk will take you to the Roman baths and most of the other sights so great location.
If I’m ever back in bath I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay wonderful x.

The deluxe rooms are big and bright. The staff are very attentive and the breakfast is very good.

A very lovely place to stay. All the staff was very caring and attentive. It’s also dog friendly for real meaning your pooches get a welcoming pack for themselves which was a lovely touch, definitely recommend!

We were welcomed in on Christmas day to have a drink, having randonly turned up on their doorstep, when we found our local drinking hub closed. We went in for one, yet stayed for a bottle!
A beautiful 'bar' area with peaceful views out, fantastic friendly staff and champagne at a fantastic price.
We were lucky to have shared an afternoon tea too. Delicious! Living near by, I can also readily recommend the location of this hotel too. A stones throw from the city lights yet peaceful. Thank you Roseate Villa, am sure we will frequent again!

A lovely friendly welcome. Character property with clean, spacious room and all the little things that make it special — decent size towels, nice toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, tv, radio, hairdryer, lovely shower. Nice breakfast. Parking was good. Short walk into town.

What a place, The building, the rooms, the staff. Everything from start to finish was amazing. I brought my partner down to the Roseate yesterday to pop the big question and the team at the Roseate went above and beyond to make sure everything I planed from morning to night in Bath and at the hotel went perfectly. On arrival we were offered Tea, Coffee & cake, we were given guides with all the attractions in bath and a map to get us about. I had prearranged to have flowers & …champagne put in our room when we went out later in the day for when we got back after my proposal. Not only did they do that, the room was also covered in rose petals, balloons, towel models & other decor. We stayed in the Luxury King size Garden view room & it was amazing. Caroline (the general manager) even managed to get me a table at the restaurant my heart was set on, this is after being told by the restaurant they were completely booked up and couldn’t accommodate me when I had called earlier in the day. This morning we went through for breakfast and again we were so impressed. Everything was so fresh and very very tasty. You really get the ‘personal touch’ at the Roseate. The management not only run the place, they are the ones serving your food too. I’ve always played it safe and stayed at big hotel chains but after this stay that will change. The big chains have nothing on places like the Roseate.

So having been a gluten free person for a good few years the joy of an afternoon tea has often passed me by — but not today!

My husband and I totally agree this is a very special establishment. It absolutely tops our list of hotels. The homemade marmalades, yougurts and cakes are positively scrummy. Beautifully furnished rooms and fantastic location near to the centre of Bath. Charming. Five stars is not enough. Great staff.

Not a bad hotel, a bit dated, thin walls makes for noisy rooms, light shone under door as night. Great staff, very helpful with making reservations and making us feel welcome. Good location, couple of minutes walk from downtown.

Excellent me and my husband said how special this place was. Its all down to the finer touches such as being greeted with a hot drink and homemade banana cake. The room was lovely and spacious on top level and the bed comfortable with complimentary homemade shortbread and fresh milk in the room. We paid extra for breakfasts which had an amazing vegetarian menu the food was delicious both mornings. Overall it was fantastic I would highly recommend this boutique hotel it has the wow factor and was a stone throw away from city centre. The staff were most attentive. It was our first visit to Bath and I must say it's a beautiful and cultural city we couldn't asked for more from this city break.

A truly first class experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room (#8) was superb and the breakfast (veggie in my case) included an unbeatable selection of delicious choices. The building itself is quirky and attractive and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

If I could give the Villa 6 stars I would! It was a beautiful building with comfortable and luxurious accommodations. The staff were fantastic! Thank you also to our hostess for allowing us to check out late as our son was ill.

Warm, welcoming friendly staff who went the extra length to ensure a great stay (welcome pack for the dogs, birthday card and gift for my better half). The room was excellent; great bed and shower. We will definitely be returning.

We reserved the suite and realised only when we got there that it was in the basement. It was way too hot and dark.

All the staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is first-class, plenty of options to suit all tastes and our room was very comfortable. All within a few minutes walk of the town centre. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay. We booked last minute yet the manager made sure our rooms were right next to each other as we have two kids. We picked the hotel because it is dog friendly but forgot to say we were bringing Rosie, however it was no problem for the staff who were very accommodating. The rooms are very nice, the bathrooms a little small but very clean and appointed. Most of all the staff are just fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful and it is the small things you notice like as we are Australian they put out vegemite in the morning. I will be recommending to all my friends to stay here when they go to bath. The location is also very central. Thanks for making our short stay so fantastic!

What a lovely place — so many extra touches, and wonderful staff. Great location and a fantastic breakfast. Rooms are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. No bar/lounge as such but we were able to buy a drink and sit in the "breakfast" room.

Had an excellent experience at the Villa. We were made very welcome on arrival. Hotel and room both very clean. If I was being picky, the bathroom was the smallest i've personally encountered but it had all the requisite facilities. Location was perfect, being just a 5 min walk from the centre.

Cool little hotel with an amazing breakfast! Very nice rooms — TV with Chromecast, rainfall shower, comfy bed, Free Wi-Fi. Brilliant value for money. Worth noting the carpark is tight if you have a large car.

An absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Magdala — stayed for 2 nights in one of the best rooms and cannot praise this B and B enough. Had a lovely welcome and offered a cup of tea while a really fantastic member of staff talked us through what was available in the B&B and recommendations of local amenities. The room was absolutely gorgeous — light, airy, tastefully decorated with a lovely view towards the park. The bed was massive and very comfortable — for someone who doesn't sleep very well away from home I slept like a log — as did my partner. The breakfast menu was terrific with a great selection of all things to tempt you with — even a Bucks Fizz if you fancy one! We decided to book direct as we noticed that if you were to book via a booking agency you may not be able to park your car here or have breakfast included in the price you pay so save yourself the trouble and book direct as you will not regret your stay here. When we decide to visit Bath in the future we will be returning to Villa Magdala for definite.

We stayed two nights it was fabulous, room beautifully decorated the bed very comfortable, staff helpful and friendly, breakfast room set so elegantly and so was the food. Very central to the town couple of minutes walking. We stayed there October 2013.

Absolutely delightful. The service was unbeatable and attended to many personal detail going OUT OF THE WAY to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of on numerous occasions. The B&B itself was perfectly located for easy walking into the center of Bath past lovely gardens and Henrietta Park. And the breakfast was outstanding.
