Myself, mother & sister attended the Mat Hatters Tea Party this afternoon, it exceeded all our expectations from the small details in the decor to the outstanding service we received from queen of hearts, Alice & the hatter! The Afternoon Tea was the best we’ve ever tasted & experienced! I also have to praise the chef as my mom is gluten free & some places see this as an afterthought! I can assure anyone that this definitely wasn’t the case at The Wroxeter she didn’t go without & it was beautifuly displayed, simply fantastic. We will most certainly be back. Thank you xxx.

Hired a private room for a surprise birthday party/civilised sit down meal. Stressed to the max for trying to organise something nice but The Wroxeter made it so simple. The room looked amazing exactly what I had imagined with a white & gold theme including a hidden entrance for the Birthday girl. The food served was absolutely amazing! Very à la carte but plenty of it. The waiting staff were brilliant, if I needed anything they were there. Everyone had a fabulous time. One person said it was the event of the year. Now I'm planning on becoming a professional celeb party planner for Coleen Nolan, Pat Butcher etc.

We were at a wedding on Bank holiday Monday. Well what an absolutely beautiful day, fab all round, food fantastic, drinks very reasonable. All the staff were excellent, couldn't fault any of them. But must mention the wonderful Angelo, from the moment we got there he was amazing. What an asset to the hotel, his dry humour and friendliness was second to none. We would love to come back just for his comedy, love him so much. Thanks for a lovely day, thanks to Angie and Nathan for the invite. BC x.

I went for a wedding last weekend! It is a gorgeous venue, with lovely views. The food and service was outstanding.

Visited a wedding fayre here, stunning venue, gorgeous layouts. Especially loved the tipi on the lawn with the woodland ceremony area. All suppliers were really chatty and helpful. We are very much considering this venue for our future wedding.

Afternoon tea. Lovely presentation. Not varied foods. Poor quality.

Stayed for my Dad's wedding the staff and venue were excellent, everyone had a great day. Definitely recommend.

We stayed overnight for a local wedding, the room we were given was clean and very comfortable! Also, the breakfast the next morning was amazing! It was exactly what we needed with a sore head! If we're ever in the area again, this will be our first choice of B&B!

Had my mum's wedding here, absolutely amazing venue for it! Views are beautiful and the staff are so caring, friendly and helpful with everything. The bridal suites there are absolutely beautiful and the other guest rooms are just as nice, their food is also lovely and would heartily recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit or have a wedding there!

My husband and I attended my sister's wedding (I was chief bridesmaid) at The Wroxeter back in December. She chose the 'Winter Wonderland' package which was just perfect, the whole day was magical. The staff are so welcoming and friendly here, I'm not at all surprised they are such a popular wedding venue — they are incredibly professional and efficient, but still make the Bride and Groom and their guests feel special. All of the food was delicious, but the sticky toffee pudding was a particular highlight — probably the best I've ever had! The room for the wedding breakfast was decorated beautifully, it really did feel like walking into a Winter Wonderland! The DJ kept us all dancing late in to the night and the room we stayed in was comfortable with a fabulous view of the countryside. Such a great wedding, it makes me wish I could do it all over again!

Great venue for our work christmas party. Food was good and staff pleasant. Drinks were quite expensive though.

Attended a wedding open day. Beautiful grounds and views all round. Friendly staff and lovely wedding venue ideas, really gave some food for thought. A little on the small side for what we were thinking, but apart from that loved it!

It is a nice hotel comfortable well laid out rooms nice friendly staff brilliant location for a wedding as they are well organized & my daughter was treated like she was a queen as they could not do enough for her & the staff always checked with them about the days events. Only one criticism the price of the soft drinks but other than that it is a nice hotel.

What a shame. The place is massively over priced for what it is and badly run by really quite rude bar staff and management who could not even source ice when their machine broke down. KEEP LOOKING if you are after a worthwhile venue for your special day.

The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. The facilities were great. We were there for a birthday party and it was lovely. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The attention to detail and professionalism shown by the staff at The Wroxeter is outstanding. This was my fourth visit as part of organising an event, and the willingness of the staff to assist in any way possible had always been the stand — out reason to return. The building, bars, rooms and facilities are fantastic and I can't wait to return again in the near future.

We had our wedding here on the 1/6 and we couldn't fault anything. The place and surrounding were beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our guests commented on how attentive they were. Food was amazing and we had everything we wanted. Definitely booking for the events in December which my kids will love. Thank you Wroxeter x.

The Wroxeter hotel is amazing. We have just got married 5th May 16. We stayed the night before with 30 guests for evening dinner. And had the hotel fully booked on 5th. The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for us. They were like a small army on my special day. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were immaculate. And the food excellent. A Big thank you to our wedding planner Darryl. Couldn't have done it without her. Thanks to all Sandra and Mark Niven.

My daughter's wedding took place here on the 9th May 2015 and the hotel ensured that every single detail went to plan. Although the weather looked like rain, it was no trouble for their hard working staff to prepare for the ceremony both indoors and out. Luckily the weather was great and we we're able to hold the ceremony outdoors in the beautiful hotel grounds. Nothing was too much trouble for the wedding planners and staff for us to achieve the perfect day. Everything went like clockwork, from the evening before, where the staff worked into the night adding the final touches to all of the rooms. On the day of the wedding, they made us feel relaxed in the knowledge that the wedding had been planned down to the last detail. The whole event, from the ceremony, to the food, to the excellent service etc, etc was second to none. If anyone is thinking of holding their wedding day at the Wroxeter, please don't hesitate, as you will have one of the best days of your life, the wonderful management and staff will ensure that it happens.

We have just spent 2 nights at the wroxeter hotel and the experience was very enjoyable. The staff were all very helpful, friendly, polite and professional in their duties. Its a busy little hotel but its dosent detract from having a quiet relaxing break. Its very clean and well maintained, and the staff are always busy doing something, not standing around. The food is cooked fresh to order and is again excellent. Anyone who went to stay at the wroxeter would not be disappointed. The setting and views are beautiful. We stayed in a downstairs disabled room which has wet room facilities.

I had a terrible experience here with my partner. We arrived for a weekend away and were shown to our room. We looked at each other in disbelief before we even got to the room as the corridors were cold, bare and poorly lit and the decor very dated, 80s style. The room was no better and the bathroom was a disabled bathroom with rails everywhere and no shower try (the tiled floor just ran straight into the shower area). The toilet hadn't even been cleaned as the water was brown in colour. To top off our disappointment, there was what looked like a small cockroach on the bed. When we complained to the owner and asked for another room, he refused to accept there was anything wrong with the room we were allocated. We spent 10 minutes arguing with this guy. He wouldn't change our room or even give us a refund. We realised we were wasting our time and left. I cannot believe someone with his egotistical and pompous attitude can survive in business. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very Disappointed wanted to arrange my wedding here. Was told one thing by one person and something else by another person.

Disappointing food and ambience. Staff communication weak.

Had a wonderful time, the service was great. The hotel very comfortable and the food was excellent. All very good value. Plenty of peicful things to do and see, didn't even need the car for our weekend.

Had my freinds wedding there. Good food, nice clean rooms, every one was helpfull, Carnt really fault it.

Ed, Hannah, Margot and the staff have shown us a warm welcome every time we visit. Our wedding reception, anniversaries, and our twins christening party was held at The Wroxeter, simply because you don't get any bettee than this. Thanks team.
