Stayed 2 nights. First night the air conditioning was broken on one of the hottest nights of the year. The receptionist told us she would "reset" it for our room which obviously made no difference. Then we were told they had run out of gas & then that it had not worked for ages. It got so bad at 11.20pm hubby went out & bought a fan. Initially the room looked clean until I wiped up splashes from the shower with the bath mat & it came up black. Stained desk chair, coffee dribbles down the bedside cabinet & what looked like a drink had been thrown at the back of the door resulting in a big, sticky mess running down the door. Also our sink was cracked. The next day a lovely receptionist did move us to a room where the air conditioning worked. Breakfast is fantastic if you're a fruit & cereal person, but if you want a traditional fry up not the place. Cheap sausages, fatty, salty bacon, greasy hash browns & only scrambled eggs served. Overall we were very disappointed & will not be returning.

Stayed here the night before my wedding, and the night after it. It was fine! I can't say much more than that, as nothing really stood out. My room was clean enough, but the shower gel caddy leaked all over the shower floor once used once, meaning there was a trail of shower gel for the rest of my stay. Gentleman on reception seemed capable of only speaking in monosyllables (or occasionally two), but those few words were friendly enough. The location was good with the pub next door, and the Aldi's across the way. The cooked breakfast was good, though it was all quite bland. All in all, it was perfectly good. Not the most glamorous, but perfectly serviceable for a night's stay. Biggest advice is to remember to check your car in as a guest — the gentleman on reception who checked me in didn't mention it, and I only happened to spot the tablet screen to do it on as I went past it (right-hand side of reception desk).

I had been to Best Western in Amsterdam (4 stars) and I didn't have the conditioner or body cream! And I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take a shower because I had no foam bath.

Lovely rooms and very nice staff. Breakfast was awesome.

Few issues, staff helpful and willing. Location very accessible with several food options on the doorstep. Our room had a blocked shower drain, missing coffee sachets and the bathroom appeared not to have been cleaned very well. We did order and pay for food from the reception, but took a call in our room to advise that some of out menue items where not available and confirmed a new selection. Staff did provide extra coffee and two drinks vouchers in liue of a slick check in and dining options. On check out I was challenged for payment for the food and drinks which had already paid for the night before. This had been accidentally been charged to my room, however the duty manager found my till receipt from this transaction. Which only took five minutes but this scene could have been avoided. In short as said the staff are willing to help but some issues just should not have arisen in the first insurance.

Great staff. Great location a gateway to fabuloud adventure in the midlands. Value for money. But always remember its a jv not a thoroughbred hilton.

Location is great has a Gregg's, Subway, dominos and weatherspoons near by. Hotel itself is smart and clean, rooms are nice size with modern style including modern bathroom. Would stay again.

Room was ok. Bathroom was spacious but skirting boards were dusty and the soap dispenser leaked all over the floor. Breakfast was good. But coffee from coffee machine had a strange after taste.

Its a nice place to stay. You will get english breakfast over here and there restaurant are just next to the hotel so no much worry for food. I have stayed 3month continuesly.

Nice place, rooms smell, at least ours did. Other than that would have been 5 stars.

We find this hotel cleaned, to a good standard, throughout, the family room we had was on the front of the building. A even though the area outside was busy, because of other business, soundproofing was good Actually of all the hotels we have stayed in this year 12 in total this has been by far the best for a good nights sleep. The interior decor was basic. The furnishing looked dated and well worn, in need of a refurbishment. We found the staff friendly, and helpful. A good range of different foods, either hot or cold, offered in a help yourself breakfast. We stopped, here for 4nights, and will come here again, in the near future.

Hotel rooms nice, extraction fan don't work in bathroom and the air air-conditioning isit the best and there's no windows so your room start to smell of whatever you eaten for days, but the staff are great.

Hotel staff very friendly. Rooms clean and tidy. Hotel Wi-Fi could do with increase in bandwidth, but stable. Breakfast lacking diversity.

Fit for purpose. Room size adequate. Breakfast and Wi-Fi both good. Not sure what else you want or could expect at the rates they charge.

Good. The room was nice and to a standard that you'd expect with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of it and a 24 hr bar will keep you entertained if that's your style. Bad. TV had pretty limited channels and was off relatively bad picture quality. Bear in mind also that a lot of the ground floor rooms look onto the car park, as ours did. It simply meant we had the curtains closed permanently… Ugly. Despite a nice bed, we slept dreadfully. This was because the 24 hr bar pumps music into the smoking area, which we were unfortunately next to. We did complain, they turned it down only to start playing it again at roughly 6:00 am to wake us again. It was all a shame and spoilt an otherwise what could have been a great stay. Just avoid room 104.

I had a very nice stay at Hampton by Hilton. Check in was easy, the receptionist was lovely and gave some great recommendations for where (and where not) to go to dinner. Room was very nice, felt like it was recently refurbished. Only issue was a slight rattle from the air conditioner, but it was cool enough in the room without it. Would recommend.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Room was big, clean and tidy. Fantastic hotel for a fantastic low price.

This is a really nice room. Very clean. Staff we're really nice and the breakfast pretty good. Only two dislikes. 1: The window didn't open at all. 2: The shower water pressure was too low. Apart from that all good.

This hotel is dog friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and you are provided with a great breakfast to get you going. The hotel is within minutes of a few pubs an aldi and a pizza place. Very good Base for Wickstead park or Rockingham Castle or racetrack.

It was very good apart from the air-conditioning.

Cheap, clean, great breakfast!

Kind of a strange location for a Hampton, but an excellent hotel nonetheless. The Corby Hampton is set in an industrial/commercial zone, so don't expect any stunning views when you look out the window. However, this does not affect the hotel's standards in any way, as rooms are scrupulously clean and pleasantly furnished. Common areas are also clean, staff are extremely friendly, and the buffet breakfast is one of the best I've had at this kind of hotel. I'll be staying here again next time I'm in town.

It was clean but small, the staff were pleasant. Breakfast is included with your room.

Dreadful, noisy faulty aircon that does not cool your room, so about 25deg in the room and no windows to open either. Asked to move rooms and simply got another one not working. Wifi in the rooms is also broken. Think modern day fawly towers.

Pull out bed was far from flat, and had poles digging into my back, after 3 nights at this hotel I had back pain, when brought to the attention of the staff despite advertising if not happy with the stay refunds can be made the woman behind the staff could not care less and practically laughed at the idea of a refund, avoid where possible.

It's okay, stay here 1 night a week on business travel. Haven't eaten here. Rooms come with basics of a standard hotel room. Also conveniently have iron and ironing board.

Rooms are nicely fitted and clean, big flat screen tv, decent shower, fairly comfortable bed though pillows could be softer. Staff friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast not great (buffet style) but rest of breakfast items are fine.

I stayed at the Hampton with friends on a vacation. Pleasant, clean, comfortable hotel with lovely staff members. Was pleasantly surprised when we got to our room, it was well appointed, with tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. My one complaint was a broken reading light that couldn't be turned off, but staff apologised and fixed it. Complimentary breakfast was really good, as well as the diner. I highly recommend this hotel.

Such a pleasant experience, everybody there was extremely nice. Rooms were clean, spacious and newly decorated, but bathroom isn`t very private with just a glass door separation. Complimentary breakfast is basic but good and served from 6:00am which is great if you want to be at the pool at 8:00am as me. I'd definitely come back if I am coming to Corby again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Hotel. Room was comfortable and had pretty decent amenities. I would have scored 9 out of 10 for this room. Great breakfast selection. Will be back again next time I am in the area.

I like the Hampton format when on business and this hotel is ideally located for commuting into the Midlands or South. Great internet access and a great complimentary breakfast. Nice rooms, clean and well decorated. Only fault, no drawers in the room. Overall will recommend for anyone staying around the Corby area.

Stayed at this hotel last night on arrival was told the kitchen was closed until 6th Jan, the receptionist said she could make a sandwich or a pizza, which was no good as we had our 19 month old son with us and we wanted to use a resturant with a healthy option. This was not advertised on the internet when we booked and the receptionist said it was down to the managers descretion wether to advertist this or not she thought it should have been. I dont feel the rooms are baby/toddler friendly as the have glass doors on the bathroom and wardrobe and also tiled floor as you enter the room before it changes to carpet. The breakfast was not very good we had to ask for food and bread to be put out for the toaster. This should not have the title of Hilton associated with it. There was broken glass over the car park and also the lights in the car park did not work. Would not stay there again even though the hotel was clean and tidy inside. Premier Inn has more apropriate standards for family. We would have stayed in the hilton but it has now changed to Holiday Inn so thought this would be ok.

I stayed at this hotel for my sister's wedding. The location was very good. The rate I had for a two night stay was excellent. It included a buffett breakfast which had everything I wanted and more. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. The bed could have been cosier, but this was a very small issue. In general a great weekend. I'm recommending it to anyone who's staying in the area.

Have stayed here on 5 occassion. Broken locks on many hotel room doors probably from people walking straight into hotel because there are no access restrictions. Water supply has been frozen for more than 24 hours on at least two occassions that I know of. Always seems to be a problem at breakfast with service of food. Tried raising these issues and more with hotel management and they decided to tell the local police that I was being abusive to their staff. Avoid at all costs.
