My friend and I had a twin room with a view of the garden, lovely comfy beds, fab en suite, clean, comfy and perfect for us. Breakfast was gorgeous every day, lots of choice, freshly cooked item s were beautifully done, my fav scrambled eggs and smoked salmon was delicious! Evening meals were lovely, lots of choice and specials which changed daily. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, we had a lovely time and will return ☺

We had a great meal here last night. We were made to feel very welcome. Food was lovely! Definitely recommend the venison. Children’s menu which is always a bonus for my two. We would definitely return when we’re next in the area.

Cosy country pub full of charm and typical for the area. Good range of ales and typical pub menu and represents good value for money. Above average bet way of quality and service.

Have been many times to King Will in past, but not for a year or so. Food menu has changed but unfortunately not for the better. Over priced and not cooked well.

Our room was very clean spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The outside area was also top notch and the Breakfast one of the best. We will certainly be staying again 5 Star.

Poor food and service. Would not recommend at all. Soup came with a stale bread roll and no butter and when mentioned it was just taken away without any apology or offer of replacement. Sea bass was topped with frozen butter which they clearly didn’t bother defrosting and was not in anyway worth the £15.95 charged. Husband also had a poor meal. The only bit of service which was outstanding was how fast they provide the bill and rush to take your cash at the end. Staff unfriendly and looked like they couldn’t be bothered. An expensive waste of an evening.

What a hidden gem this is. My wife and I were looking for somewhere that catered for our vegan needs and would be happy to allow our dogs in. They couldn’t do enough for us, we had a wonderful meal in cosy surroundings and our dogs were made to feel as welcome as we were. The head waitress was especially helpful (I heard her say she’d been there nine years! ). Great place, will definitely be back. Many many thanks.

Usually have Sunday lunch here when down in Norfolk. Service very slow this time. Forgot to bring water to table. Expensive for what we got as well. Overall, disappointed this time.

Awful. I was looking forward to a nice stay, I treated myself to this hotel expecting a nice meal and stress free stay before exhibiting at the sandringham flower show. This is hard work with two 14 hour days of tiring work and travel. I booked a room with a fridge so I could take cold drinks with me, there wasn't one, I ordered chicken Korma and really couldn't tell you what that was and staff didn't care much. And if you are expecting a nice cooked breakfast before going to the show. Forget it. You won't get one, because even though this huge event, just down the road, brings in exhibitors and visitors every year this hotel doesn't care to offer breakfast before 8am and that means even though I paid for it I won't get it. They could easily organise this for just one day a year surely? A shambles. I'm tired, upset at the crappy welcome this hotel had given me, im hungry and facing a very long tiring day on a stall where I don't have a chance to get any lunch. I'll be sure to tell everyone to avoid this place. They also expect you to just let yourself out like an unwelcome visitor not even staff to say goodbye or hand a key to. Very very disappointing and total waste of hard earned money.

Food was good and good atmosphere. Certainly we'll worth a visit for a drink.

Good choice of local ales, plus the usual mass-produced suspects. Food was… average and they'd already run out of a number of menu options despite it being just about lunchtime. Expected it to be a little better than it actually was given it wasn't exactly inexpensive.

Lovely pub/restaurant. Great food. Went twice in one week while on holiday in the area.

We only popped in for a coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Coffee good too.

Beautiful country pub with outstanding menu. Its a small village accomadation with big city class rooms. Kingsize beds great water pressure. Very clean. Nick is excellent host. Stay here and relax. Will be back.

We are staying in a garden room which is well presented with everything one would need for a comfortable stay.
Everything is clean within the bedroom and bath/ shower room and the toiletries are of a very high quality.
However the kettle needs descaling and the two teaspoons are very stained, which is poor.
What has let this establishment down is the level of service and quality of food.
Whilst both of the starters we ordered were very good, the sea bass was poorly presented and the roasted new potatoes were soggy and swimming in grease.
The second main left us both lost for words. My partner ordered the vegetarian sausage, mash and onion gravy but asked to substitute the mash for chips.
What arrived was nothing short of awful. Three poor quality vegetarian sausages, a very small portion of anaemic looking soggy chips and a small gravy boat of onion gravy. The presentation, quality and value for money was shocking. The cost of this meal alone was £12.95 which is disgraceful.
For an establishment which prides itself on culinary awards this is shocking.
In addition to the above, not once did any member of staff approach us to ask whether everything was alright with our meal. Adding insult to injury we waited twenty minutes after finishing for someone to remove our plates, but as no one came we left the table in disgust.
This is totally unacceptable.

Friendly, helpful staff, great ambience and outstanding food. Breakfast was superb!
Our dog was warmly welcomed by all and joined us in the bar for breakfast.

Really nice place. Been there for lunch twice over the past year. Summer, peaceful beer garden. Winter nice warm bar. Menu good and varied.

Went here for birthday lunch. Best belly pork I have ever eaten. Generous portions. Reasonable prices for food and wine. Excellent pleasant service. Will definitely go back.

We arrived at what we thought would be a nice place to drink but we saw the main room with a fire and many free tables just to be carted of by one of the staff to sit in the corner of a room far away from the other customers because there were children present with us. They cleared the table of every thing that was not bolted down and kept a close eye on us for our intire stay and it was horrible. Very disappointed.

Our small party had a very disappointing evening meal at the King Will, this meal had been booked two weeks prior to our visit and a deposit paid. Some of the veg were like bullets and the Christmas pudding was a cheap option to my favourite dessert, and the bottle of wine was over twice the price the King Will would have paid. While I am not against anyone making a profit I am against being given poor food and not up to a standard one would expect for the price charged. The owner did apologise for the veg not being cooked sufficiently but over all I felt very disappointed with the whole affair.

Always a good meal in great surroundings. Great atmosphere with friendly, efficient staff. All my family and friends love coming to the King William on their visits to Norfolk.

Lovely pub. We had dinner here with a toddler. Staff were friendly and there was a family area to eat. Food was great.

Stayed for two nights… lovely comfortable room, lovely food especially breakfast, staff very polite and friendly. The owner comes round at breakfast to meet guests and check everyone is happy which we thought was a nice touch. Thank you to everyone who made our stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay and/or have lunch here again.

Went here one evening looking for a quality dinner to celebrate a significant event. The main courses was top notch, and the cheese board very tasty. We would have liked more interaction with the staff as there was quite a wait for our food. But overall a lovely evening.

Stunning environment with great food. Great place to stop for a meal. Perfect for families and dogs with outside eating area. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal, will be returning at some point.

Lovely place. Food delicious. Tomato and Avocado salad is devine, the lime and basil sorbet that sits on top is to die for.

We had a great lunch on Thursday, we were a group of four out for walk. With permission from the owner we left the car in the car park calling back into the restaurant for an excellent lunch which could not have been better, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely call again thank you.

Good food, friendly service & good value for money.

We have passed here many times but decided to stop and have lunch yesterday. The menu choice was great. Service was good. There was however a problem with my meal, this was rectified without fuss and the staff and owner very apologetic. The food was excellent and the staff and atmosphere very friendly. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family.

Great value curry nite staff made us feel very welcome with our dog thank you.

Lovely outside space & good pub food. Only let down was the lady who brought us our meal and wouldn't get us any more drinks, but the rest of the staff were nice.

Stayed over for one night, truly excellent, food great, rooms great and staff great. My wife said it was the best cooked breakfast she has ever had and I have to agree!

Me and my wife often visit this pub/restaurant, probably once a month minimum. It's the food that keeps us coming back, truly exquisite. Beautiful surroundings. My favourite pub for the atmosphere and rustic gorgeous surroundings. I hate to say it but only one thing lets the place down and unfortunately in a big way. The bar maid who I believe is called Liz! I really wouldn't mind if it was just a one of but it really is every time I go in. Im really not one to complain but think as she's the face me the pub she really should make an effort. Ive been coming in years now since Rick owned it. And Jeff. And in all these years I've not once seen her smile. Its always like anything I ask is such a chore and I feel guilty for asking. I do hate to rant about something like this but really enough is enough! Like I say though, apart from that I absolutely love the place. I also believe im not the only person who feels this way. All in all tho I do love the place. Oh, and bravo to your chef, amazing food every time, also your waitresses couldn't be more helpful. Many thanks. See you soon no doubt.

Great pub, and great restaurant. Well worth a visit. I go there quite often and I've never ever had anything other than great service. I can only assume John H's experience was a one off. I'm sure if he had said something the owner Mr Skerritt would have been mortified as I know he strives for excellence. I know the Head Chef Richard as well. He is an excellent chef.

Wounderful ambience a very happy and relaxed atmosphere and superb food cooked to perfection. The owners were very welcoming, the staff were very efficient, we will definately be back.

This is such a pleasant and welcoming restur. Environ. To have a meal. The staff are so relaxed and happy to be around! We had a baby with us tonight and the staff made sure we were always comfortable n even stoped by a few time to have a quick chat. We will continue to support this establishment! LOVE IT.

Had a lovely 3 days at King William IV pub and B and B. Our room was very comfortable and had been newly refurnished to a high standard. The full English breakfast is large and sets you up for the day with no need to stop for lunch. Nick and Lili made us very welcome. We took our bicycles and Nick helped us to plan some good interesting routes. Though dont be fooled into thinking Norfolk's flat and easy to cycle! The lanes are hilly, very quiet and the scenery stunning. I am sure we will return to explore some more.
