A lovely location, a little busy but it's in the centre but I enjoyed my stay.

Been here for a 4night stay steve and lyn plus all the team are the most wonderful and helpful people you could ever wish to meet rooms are big the toliet door in the accessible room of 157 was very stiff but we managed will be coming again next year.

The staff are what makes this lovely hotel so special. The breakfast is very generous. Good coffee, excellent cooked breakfast. The sunny riverside terrace is the icing on the cake. Fab. 5 star for me.

First and last time staying in a premier thankyou for putting us next to young lads woke me up at 4.30am not impressed from minute they got here they didnt shut up complained twice but they got away with it if it was is we wouldnt of done.

Handy for train station and town centre. Friendly staff. Good size room as a standard.

Brilliant stay I loved it the bed was comfortable more comfortable than my own bed 🤣🛌🥱 everything was accessible. Enjoyed a continental breakfast. Fantastic for getting your energy ready for the next day. 😀😀😀 Premier Inn isn’t far from the town perfect for a walk past the river and through the town. 😁😁😁

Very friendly staff and comfy beds. Close to the centre of the city and right by the river and the train station.
Breakfast seems pricey but it is worth it!

Great location and restaurant we were not able to get double room so got asseable room wis very large clean twin beds great deal view of river outside window great private garden and walking along river path also small fridge in room very handy would book again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, nice comfortable family room. We've booked again for our daughters birthday.

It’s a bit old school and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work. On the plus side the TV works properly.

A fantastic place to stop, right next to the River. Staff very friendly, food is excellent. Spotlessly clean, felt very safe in the current climate. Would definitely come again.

Had 2 lovely nights here on the 10-10-20 to 12-10-20 at very good price £29.99 per night. Girl on reception is lovely, very friendly, very helpful polite young lady. Social distancing is great. Definitely 100pc come back here again. Well done to the staff and cleaners.

Had a lovely overnight break, friendly staff, minimum service due to COVID-19 but still a lovely min break.

My son booked a room here last night with a friend. Took a female friend back to the room so she could charge her phone. Aggressive nightstaff asked them to leave for being loud. Son walked lady friend to get a taxi as he advised the nightstaff after apologising for the noise, and on returning his suitcase had been removed from room and his mobile phone was missing (left in room on charge). Using find my iphone it shows my sons phone in the river outside the balcony on the room where he was supposed to stay. Mobile charger still plugged in but suitcase removed. We believe the aggressive night staff has thrown this into the river. Shame on premiere inn for hiring such staff! police are being contacted.

Had meal here which I couldnt fault my steak was bloody lush and im fussy!

only thing let us down was we had no check back and my dessert was forgot about and when it did turn up she walked away empty handed although or plates were on table still.

After a bad experience, walking round the back of the hotel in the dark after 10pm, because that was the official route from the station, I had an enjoyable stay.
I think that the fact that you can access through Table Table should be flagged up by the bridge as this hotel is advertised as 100 yards from the station. The rooms were large and the choice for breakfast was great with good views of the river. After the first time I accessed the hotel through Table Table which made it very convenient to the station. If initial access had been better, I would have given five stars.

Excellent location, rooms are clean and quite so you get a good nights sleep. Good and drink is very reasonable and you can sit by the river. Would say that at some times prices for rooms vary quite a bit.

Within 3 mins of the railway station, it's just across the road. The lodge was lovely and staff again very helpful and friendly. Next door is a nice little pub and outside is a river.

This is a lovely place. It has everything. Somewhere to sleep. That just so happens to be extremely comfortable and quiet. A pub next door that overlooks a river where you can watch boats sail by every 2 — 3 mins and if you step outside the hotel your in Norwich City Centre. What a great place. This is where we are going to stay every time we are in Norwich.

I'm yet to find a Premier Inn that I can't fault. Twin room was double bed and sofa thing but know that when booked. Could do with some TLC but you pay for what you get. Really handy for city centre and would use again.

After a bumpy start. Room in the bowels of the hotel. Aircon broken. Really hot day. And some bright spark had left a radiator on. We got a better room in the first floor. No grab rails in the shower. And I am unsteady on my feet since I suffered a stroke. And they ought to have double showers, with a hand held shower attachment. Awkward having a propper shower. And my friend left her charger in the table and it went missing. Which was a nuisance. But very clean and very comfortable. Would go again. Might have to buy one of those suck on grab rails.

Room was very clean staff was very helpful and friendly bed was comfy highly recomend price was very good value.

I stayed in the hotel last week and again this week. Last week's visit was amazing and I had a great sleep. On my second visit which was last night I was woken up at 02:24 with the air conditioning unit really noisey and blasting cold air into my room, the control panel to stop it was not working. I called reception numerous times and no answer. My room was so far from the reception I was not walking up there when I was half asleep. I was disappointed with my stay this time round.

Entering via a semi subterranean car park reminded me of some dodgy 1980s getto BUT once inside the hotel is lovely, they just need a better entrance to enable you to know you're in a nice space!

Stayed one night on a Monday. Ground floor room. Very quiet bearing in mind the location. Staff very helpful. Nice and clean with plenty of parking.

All the usual solid Premier Inn standards, nice view from the restaurant overlooking the canal. The only slight gripe is one of the FOH staff at breakfast trying to tell me black bananas are better than yellow as they "have more protein in them". The bananas were horribly over-ripe, and her statement is 100% not true. Otherwise great!

Quiet, comfortable and an enjoyable short stay. Reasonable room prices, a very fulfilling breakfast and evening meal at a decent price although alcohol a bit on the expensive side the staff were all pleasant and helpful. And there's plenty to do in the City of Norwich.

As usual the room was very clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located near the train station and close to downtown. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a good restaurant and bar on site. Rates are reasonable when football is not scheduled.

Self-service check in is fast and efficient. As long as there are no problems. One of my colleagues bookings had an issue requiring assistance. Took a while for someone to arrive at the reception as it's not manned all the time but was friendly when they did arrive. Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were a little bit cold at first but, thanks to two portable electric heaters, soon warmed up. Breakfast is OK but not as good as it used to be & showing signs of cost cutting. The location is perfect for the city being right on the river and a short walk from station.

As always good quality affordable accommodation. Friendly helpful staff. Very easy access to the city centre and to restaurants and the cinema. Nice to get river views. Fits the bill fur us and our 2 teenagers. Have stayed before and will stay again.

The premier Inn was perfectly placed for us. It was clean and tidy in the common areas. The bar was spacious and we were served quickly. The room was clean and tidy. It was perfect for our night out. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Located close to the Railway Station with ample parking (£5 per day charges). Good clean hotel with extremeley friendly and helpful staff, has own restaurant and bar. Rooms, clean, warmand bed really comfy.

My parents were staying there for a couple of days. They always do when they come to visit us and as usual we enjoyed our meal and they enjoyed their stay. Can't really fault it.

Good night's rest. Super Quiet. Comfortable bed. Dark room. Spacious room with proper TV (42"). Convenient check in (24/7) and check out (12:00) times. Close to station. Will not be staying anywhere else again.

Family room large and quiet. £53 for Friday night. Food available in pub next door but also Tesco express 5 mins away.

I'd say above average. The box standard hotel room in a city centre. Decent service.

Love coming here to stay when visiting Norwich. Always clean and tidy and the staff are always there to help. Only thing that was a down side was the building work that was happening when we last stayed but that couldn't be helped.

We thoroughly enjoyed out night's stay at the Nelson. The room was immaculate and comfortable and had everything we needed. Fabulously close to Riverside, so very handy for the cinema. The railway station is opposite, very convenient for anyone arriving by train and just a 10 minute walk into the city centre. Easy to explore the cathedral, castle and Norwich's lovely shopping lanes by foot too. The eat all you can, help yourself, breakfast was great value, with choices of fruit, yogurt, cereal, continental style, full English, toast and jam/marmalade, tea, coffee, fruit juice really set us up for the day. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Well run. Great breakfast. And the Manager on duty when I went gets 10/10 for customer service. He could not have done more. My hero of the day.

Arrival was good although having checked in online getting a key was a bit of a parlarver. Room was comfortable and had aircon. Evening meal was good and service really good. Breakfast however was a different matter entirely. On arrival I was greeted warmly and then led to a table that still needed cleaning, the restaurant operates a buffet breakfast service and I ordered poached eggs. Having made my toast, got a fresh cup of Costa coffee and selected my breakfast. I ate the said breakfast and 25 minutes after arriving I was still waiting for my eggs. I then asked if I could have a takeaway cup of coffee and was told that they didn't issue takeaway cups (Brewers Fayre do! ). As I left the restaurant my eggs appeared, too late. No one at reception so checked out and left. Thankfully I shouldn't be back in Norwich for a year so will use the other PI next time.

Though the degree of separation between an ice shower and water hot enough to melt the flesh from my bones, was one of a few millimeters, I've since found my favourite temperature to be somewhat north of "scalding". 10/10 would first degree burn again. Really clean, comfy and quiet rooms, cannot ask for more.

Very nice place. Clean quite and convenient for the station. On arrival the staff were fantastic nothing was to much trouble.

Room was slightly larger than your average Premier Inn room. Within walking distance of the City Centre and breakfast was very well stocked with a wide range of pastries, cereals, cold meats and cheeses and of course everything required to put together a full English. Very pleasant stay.

Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Room was great and overlooked the river, which was an added bonus. Air con was useless however and with such large windows, we were baking hot! The only complaint I'd say I had (and not much of one then).

The central location makes it easy to access a wide variety of restaurants, so you're not stuck eating in the hotel every night. It's in a busy part of town, but because it's on the other side of the canal it's quite peaceful. We always stay here when we're going to BeWilderWood, and the recent refurbishment has made it even better.

Its a nice place, can't fault staff or cleanliness of the room. My only gripe is please put more sugars, milks, teabags in room please. Some people like milky tea and sweet like myself. Rooms are charged at a high enough amount so come on just a few more.

Good value hotel, I regularly stay here when visiting Norwich. The rooms are a good size with comfortable bed's, a good size TV and clean bathroom. For the price, it's a good place to stay.

OK the hotel is having an extention accepted, reception great (as always) room well smells a bit. Main moan, the meal deal — I stay a premier Inn up to 3 nights a week sometimes, the red wine with the meal deal isn't that nice so I ask for an upgrade to a better wine, some say an extra £1 or so, others say you have to buy it separately and forgo your drink, what ever it is please make it standard, tonight's meal had been under the pass for so long it was burnt so not a happy stay here.

Nice quiet room. Bathroom not designed well. Shower curtain not frameless glass. Fan didn't extract steam. Friendly, helpful staff. It's a no frills hotel. Had a good night's sleep.

Great location, friendly staff, and comfortable room. Only real problem was the Wi-Fi, which had a tendency to drop very regularly (and this was the paid-for upgraded Wi-Fi). Otherwise, no complaints. Good for the price, and would certainly stay again next time I'm in Norwich.

Great place to stay if you want to be in and around all of Norwich 's shops, bars & restaurants. Opposite the main rail station in Norwich and within walking distance of the city centre. Rooms spacious and clean. Table Table restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. 5 Stars if the breakfast was better.

Very comfortable, polite and helpful staff and a great restaurant. The location is good aswell. The only potential problem could be limited parking but I didn't have a problem. Much better than travel lodge.

Stayed there for a night. Comfy bed and a nice shower. Free Wi-Fi was good for browsing the web and watching videos but not for internet calls. Also the downloads were speed limited. The call kept dropping. Open buffet breakfast was great at Table-Table restaurant which I paid as an add-on to my hotel fee. Get full breakfast for access to Full English breakfast section.

When booking table requested two high chairs got there and there was only one. Young lady said that there was none available! Thankfully a young lad called? jack found one. On arriving home, my partner noticed that we were charged for desserts when we all had the mothers day deal! Travelled all the way back to restaurant ask to speak to manager. We got the assistant manager who didn't even apologise for the mistake or inconvenience having to come back from Horsford!

Lovely view of the river. Free parking at the hotel. Very happy. Breakfast was good in the morning also.

I love staying in the premier Inn Norwich Nelson city centre hotel as I use they most times I come down to visit my son. It's convenient and reasonable in price. Great staff and beds and room's are comfortable. You also have a table table restaurant next door if you fancy food and there prices are not bad.

Always a pleasant stay, you don't Feel like you are in a budget hotel. Everywhere clean and of high standard. Staff always great! Don't get me started on the breakfast cos they are amazing! Opposite train station, and within Short walking distance to shops & city centre. This premier inn even has a table table restaurant next door for a tasty meal and a drink Also a costa coffee for the coffee lovers.

Can't overstate the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Beautifully clean, easy parking, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.

We have stayed at this Premier previously and have to recommend it if you are looking at somewhere to stay in Norwich. The setting is lovely as on the river and can sit outside for breakfast or in the evening. Sits opposite a lovely Thai Restaurant. You can get a good price per night at this hotel and the staff and rooms are lovely. There is a pub attached to the hotel so nice to sit with kids rather than walk out searching for somewhere. The breakfast variety is great hosting a whole range of continental and English choice.

Modern comfortable hotel just what was needed by myself and my mum to relax and enjoy a weekend together. Restaurant and Pub lovely place to eat with good food and friendly service.

Located very near Norwich train station; such a convenient location. This place is very spacious, well decorated and maintained perfectly. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are knowledgeable and full of advice on any expect of your stay. That's what I found with mine. The bedrooms very roomy, beds are very comfortable, hardly any outside noise at all. The room temp can be adjusted easily. You can buy drinks ahte bar and even take them to your room if you fancy. I've given it 4 stars as breafast isn't included. You have to buy that separate and £8 is a joke considering how much cheaper you can get it else where.

Decent, reasonably priced pub food.
