Our stay at the number 82 the unthank was unfortunately awful from dirty bedsheets to a small room which wasn’t the room we paid for. We booked the hotel through booking. Com after reading the amazing reviews but this wasn’t what we received. On arrival our room wasn’t ready and wasn’t cleaned once we had entered it. Tried cooking but the oven was dirty from previous tenants which set off the fire alarm, no help available when calling the emergency line leaving us to figure out how to use the control panel in the concierge and turn it off. This is unacceptable! We had the option to stay with family which we decided against 1. For the break and 2. Because we had only heard positive things. Once we had got back and an email was sent but no response after the initial response and no mention of a refund! This is such a shame as we were looking forward to the lovely weekend after a stressful 18months due to covid and being in the jobs we are. Definitely wouldn't recommend!
We had a lovely weekend stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful room too!

Arrived for a short stay. Room very dusty, utensils covered in grease and dust, toaster and kettle dirty with water leaking from kettle base, bathroom dirty and by far the worst pillos and mattress have no protectors, pillows covered in an array of multicoloured body fluid stains. we changed rooms with the second being equally disgusting. Saw Shaun (whi was apologetic) and the owner to say we were leaving. We booked through Booking. Com who have been told by the owner no refund would be given. it could be a great place to stay if they adhered to their own covid cleaning policy. strongly suggest reading the trip advisor reviews for this establishment before booking.
