The hotel is somewhat dated. It is currently being renovated and it was very clean. All in all I had a good nights sleep after a night out in Liverpool.

I couldn't rate this at all. It's dirty and unwelcoming nothing like the photos on the website. The staff aren't helpful or friendly. No towels but u can hire them … Eh no thanks and a telly in the room that doesn't work or have a remote and … And a curfew of 10pm. Never again stay away.

This bed breakfast hotel is a little bit run down, and has strange rules, like no visitors to the rooms. It's allso not that cheap, £32 a night for a double room. Other than that, it is clean with free tea and coffee and free Wi-Fi.

Don't waste your time or money. When we paid for bed and breakfast we expected at least some toast. Nope! Dump!

For a small place that's not too easy to find, it's really really good! Perfect for a weekend night out.

Horrible! 1 person speaks English and all rooms are box rooms, dirty carpets, smells of smoke and marijuana and shared bathrooms. Do not recommend!

Fire alarm went off at 6:55am and there were no staff on site. It took someone over half an hour to get there to switch it off. Bad smell in the place. The tea and coffee was free so not all bad!

Just came back from this bed and breakfast … was horrified to what we found there was 4 of us in a room with 1wardrobe! The storage was not an issue more like the cleanliness of the place the shower was full of mould and we bought wipes to clean it ourselves before going in to have a shower … The net curtains were grey with dirt and tied in an unsightly knot … There were not much presence of any staff a man who checked us in who was friendly and a lady who told me she didn't speak English! This was a 40th Birthday for my sister her husband paid for it and it almost ruined our weekend if we had had the money we would have moved to another hotel … This should not be a Bed and breakfast until it is pulled down and started all over again … so glad we spent so much time in Liverpool city centre as that was amazing. But will not stay there ever again and will not recommend to anyone else so if your reading this to whether you stay here or not I recommend you don't!

Everything was awosome there except the place was far away from the city center. If you have car that's the best place for that costs.

Traveled up for the football, perfect location easy to find clean and tidy friendly staff, basically it's value for the money you pay.

We have been there for a five nights in September-October 2014. My expectations were satisfied entirely (room, towels, booked breakfast — all was in right time and right quality). No problem with booking, check-in (but it will be better to call before it — there is possibility no staff at hostel even check-in time), paying at check-in with card or cash, friendly and responsible staff. Great quality for suitable price. Maybe, Bootle district isn't very tourist-friendly (unfortunately, but it's so — litter on streets, first-floor windows closed by metal shutters, some bad smell in the air), but there are many good people in the Bootle, just try to know them better! Great place for any football fan: in 15-minutes walk both to Anfield and Goodison Park, 5-minutes to the nearest subway station Bank Hall. 30-40 minutes to a walk to the city centre.

A very clean warm an comfortable place to stay.

Nice place, nice prices and hospitabel people. Perfect if you are in town for a football match. I'll be back for certain.

I booked with this hotel and sent payment in full 14 days before arrival. I knew the road, road number and my satnav told me I was there yet I still drove past the place — I thought it to be a derelict building — the ground floor windows were all covered in metal shutters, there was no front door and there was an air of decay about the place. A door was found to the side of the building — this was faced off with plywood and there was no letter box. A door entry system gained me access to a set of stairs which led me to a small dingy bar where I was told that my cheque had not been received and I would have to pay by cash. I left and slept in my vehicle. An email to the hotel requesting that they had no further interest in my cheque got no response. Beware.
