Nice staff and good place for stay to sleep and refreshing.

A good place for short stay…

Noisy location with bands practicing next door until midnight and situated next to a busy road with lorries passing by at all hours. Room has a fantastic view across the Mersey river and there's a good café downstairs. Worth it for the asking price.

Very basic accommodation in a busy area. The beds were cheap and uncomfortable couple that with traffic on a busy road right outside and I didn't get much sleep. For the price paid we could have got somewhere better.

No heating and loud people all night…

Is not the best place 2 stay the beds where hard and the pillows where like stone.

We arrived with low expectations after all the reviews we read beforehand. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it looks like it's in a dingy part of the city but the person that checked us in was really friendly and helpful and reassured us that it was safe to leave the car where it was. The place is a little run down and needs a lot of work but we were only there to sleep so it didn't bother us too much. It was easy enough to check out and they didn't mind that one of us took a set of keys home accidently, they just politely told us to post them through. I really a pleasant stay. Proves that you don't always have to rely on reviews all the time for places like this.

When got there the door were locked, and no one answered the phone or door despite our best efforts to be heard. We ended up getting another hotel. Complete waste of money and time.

Two stars may be slightly generous. The area although initially quite intimidating is actually harmless, its just derelict and youd be hard pushed to see another person that isnt driving. The room was basic, it didnt advertise itself to be anything more than that however. Pretty much any extras costs more, towels, breakfast both cost extra. The shower and bathroom are shared with other rooms. The woman on reception (which bizarrely is in a different building about two blocks down the street) was both rude and blunt, dont think she had ever heard of the term " customer service" would avoid staying here again at all costs.

St of all the check in is at a different place and just open 2pm, so you can't leave your bag before this time. The receptionist is rude and sarcastic. That is no staff in the accomodation, no reception and no kitchen and the TV in the bedroom doesn't work. The place is far from the city, there is no bus and the local is not the safest. I will never return in that place.

If you just want a cheap bed to sleep in. And you aren't scared by dodgy looking areas where every other building is burnt out. And don't mind being a little way from town. You might not mind it here. The rooms are clean presentable and basic. The plumbing is a bit noisy, and woke me up a couple times. There are two tiny perks, the rooms have a tiny 14" TV and 4G. My mate was very happy about that. But GPRS doesn't seem to work so well. They have Wifi tho. My mate described the woman who checks you in, perfectly "She is a money making machine! " everything costs extra! Money was being sucked from our pockets like she was some kind of financial black hole. To check out after ten, you must pay extra, a continental breakfast has to be booked and will cost you extra, you hire towels for one pound. By the time I got there, my mates were checking in and had softened the big lady up. But they said she was very rude. She has a nice smile we got along with her ok, but that doesn't stop her finding ways to get your money off us! My mate called a taxi I overheard the taxi driver "Theres no way on earth I'm going there! ". The place is OK, but only just. And thats if your a bloke. If you took your woman there you'd get dumped. It's in the middle of nowhere, but the petrol station sells most things, apart from that it's just a quiet, sinister looking industrial estate.

You would be better sleeping rough.
