Great hotel, friendly staff.

Lovely stay, comfortable and refreshed in the morning. Easy access location, seems good for city centre with a short walk.

Very good location — you tge entrance to the football ground and turn right into their own car park. A short stroll along the river to the Town Centre where there are shops, eateries and pubs to suit all ages and tastes.
Staff are extremely helpful nothing too much.
Rooms for me compare to a travelodge — very basic and a triple room uses sofa beds! noone should pay for the privilege of sleeping on a sofa bed that folds during the night. Ridiculously uncomfortable and we were moved to another room for out 2nd night which was better but a huge inconvenience and I have had an extra £50 added to my bill? I am about to go to reception to sort this put! if anything they should be taking £50 ogg so I'm not quite sure why they have added this?
All in all a great hotel for meetibg friends a small bar and breakfast included.

There should be someone on reception monitoring the wearing of face masks around the hotel especially around the breakfast area. The number of people not wearing masks in relation to the number of guests was disproportionately high, especially around the breakfast area in particular the hot drink and toast areas. One member of staff was also not wearing his mask over his nose and serving food. Could this be addressed especially regarding the numbers of infections in the area? Apart from that the hotel was in a great location for us, we had a great view and free car parking.

Really lovely, hotel. Friendly staff, from booking in to booking out. The rooms are lovely, very clean, love the air conditioning in the room. Needed it when I stayed, as it was extremely warm. Good variety of food for breakfast.

Stavros was a superb and helpful employee! Went above and beyond on more than one occaision for my family especially my Grandad. The ladies on reception too were also a delight however I did not catch their names. Superb staff. We will be back.

A good hotel. Well priced for its location (overlooking The King Power stadium). Breakfast is decent and plentiful. Loss of 1 star is due to reception trying to charge me twice more for my prepaid room (at check in and check out! ).

Clean hotel and very helpful staff. Just remember breakfast finished early. Didn't get a chance of seconds. Bacon and sausages lovely.

Great location for the King Power Stadium and close to Tigers ground, Richard lll exhibition and the city centre. Room was clean and reasonably sized, and bathroom good. Included breakfast was as expected, although very busy at 8.00 Sunday morning when I visited. … Nice to stay in a hotel where parking is included too.

Amazing place to stay for couple of days. One star is missing only coz rooms are too small and I would have definitely could have used a common or individual microwave to heat leftovers.

Superb stay for our son's graduation. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Although double beds are comfortable they are smaller than premier inn. Definitely on the small side. Staff are friendly and very welcoming nothing was too much trouble and my 89 year old mother was looked after and spoilt rotten. Good buffet breakfast. A special mention to Clare who really made our stay and spoilt mum. Lovely.

This is situated adjacent to the king power stadium which hosts Leicester City FC. It wasn't as easy to find as you had to go through a manner barrier and had to be directed round the corner. There are plenty of parking spaces but these get taken up the further into the evening you go with even some self righteous folk parking in the disabled spaces so good luck if you are actually disabled and you need one of those spaces! The hotel itself is very clean with a homely feel. I can't say it's all perfect as when I wanted to check out there wasn't a staff member in site even after a few shouts towards the office room. Other than that, the location and view from the 5th floor provided me with a beautiful stay. My only other fussy point is the quilt cover and sheets didn't feel like they were 100% cotton, so I quickly roasted when I was in bed which made it a little uncomfortable. To end, just look at the night time sunset view!

Booked a room for one night but cancelled 3 days before yet Holiday Inn Express Leicester City still charged me the entire rate. Complete disregard for its paying clients and I shall never stay in a Holiday Inn Express or any of its affiliates again. Very poor indeed.

Really nice staff. Hotel ideally situated for both football and rugby. However, with Tigers & City both rubbish as their respective seasons come to a close, sampling the range of beers available at the hotel may be a better option!

Stayed here for the Saints match, ideal place as it's right next to the Leicester ground. Room, bed and shower were all fine as was the reception staff. Breakfast is a little different to what I'm used to with Premier Inn but was nice enough with tea, coffee on tap and as much sausages, bacon, baked beans and scrambled eggs. We booked about a month ahead and got one nights B&B for £73, well worth it.

Super friendly staff. Rooms CLEAN and comfy. Unlimited breakfast was very filling and delicious with a good mixture of hot and cold options.

I spent 3 nights in to the hotel. I slept well but the heater was to loud. The personal is kind. The breakfast is a continental one and it tastes good. For the dinner you can go in the restaurant close to it and put all in your room bill. The restaurant's food is great.

No issues at all. Great location within the city right opposite the football stadium, easy parking with gated access which makes it feel safe. Amenities within room the usual standard and good breakfast options too. Would recommend and prob stay again.

I've stayed at many Holiday Inn hotels, both in the UK and USA and they all provide a reliable standard for the frequent traveller: light and airy rooms, comfy beds, space to work in your room, beverages in your room for a tea and coffee while you check your emails and a decent breakfast! Staff are always friendly and courteous.

My fiancee and I stayed at the hotel when we attended the city's comedy festival. The staff were please try, helpful and efficient at check in. Our double room had plenty of space, decent amenities and everything was clean and working as it should. With the included breakfast our stay was hard to fault. It's not the best location as the king power stadium is right next door and imagine staying over a match day would be a totally different experience. There's a nice 20 minute riverside walk to the main city centre which was good too. Would certainly consider the hotel again when staying in the city.

Very good standard of cleanliness, comfortable beds. I booked late (through work) so I got a twin room instead of a standard double but that’s hardly a minus point — as I got a room. The room was quiet, despite being right opposite the lifts. Tea plates being a bit on the small side for breakfast Is the only downside I can think of, if you want a full English breakfast, it doesn’t all fit on the plate. However, one ‘significant ‘upside’ is that you can do a bacon roll, croissants etc, to go too! All the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful & polite. I’ll choose this hotel next time I’m back in town for business.

A neat, clean and very Good place. But a bit over priced. Breakfast available as complimentary and alcoholic drinks can be bought. Lunch and dinner has to be taken care. A restaurant is there downstairs. And at a distance of 0.4miles/600 metres. There is an Indian restaurant called spicy handi. You can ask the reception they will give u the details. There is no spa, swimming pool and other recreation. It is just stay and breakfast.

Obviously a good location for the football. However, the breakfast offering is fairly perfunctory when compared with most other HI Express properties. Needs to try a bit harder.

Nice hotel. Very close to the town centre. Parking is available next to the hotel and is charged at £10 when staying at the hotel. All you can eat breakfast 5*. Do use the pool and sauna if you get the opportunity. Will stay again.

Parking available (albeit limited). Right next to the Stadium so convenient for football fans staying overnight. Stayed in a disabled room which was very spacious and appropriately modified. Free buffet breakfast was available but the bed was so comfortable breakfast ended up being a missed opportunity. Staff very approachable with a good sense of humour to anyone who's already a little bit 'jolly' by the time they get to reception. Thumbs up for sure.

A very welcome stay we have had in this hotel. Friendly reception and a good clean room. A good bed, shower and water cooker as basic needs were there. Breakfast was not really outstanding but could do for starting the day with. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds are really comfy. It could benefit from a small fridge and a plug by the mirror, so you can see when straightening or curling your hair.   Rooms are well sound proofed, so there's hardly any noise from other guests.   Breakfast is poor, that's why I've scored a four. Could be improved with offering bacon. Fast checkout, so so hanging about when your ready to leave. I'd consider visiting again, if the breakfast improves.

Stayed here tonight with a few friends, I find the staff really made an effort and the beds was super comfy. I'm fairly tempted to nicked the pillows to be honest. Well recommended for a short stop.

Nice hotel with parking on the grounds of the stadium, stayed on a match day so was busy nice footballing atmosphere I guess, nice clean good standard of rooms. A typical holiday inn express does what it says on the tin. Would stay here again.

Nice room. Clean, spacious with all amenities needed. Toilet handle was slightly broken though and included breakfast was not great.

Really good staff. Sadly the hot water wasn't working but goodly we got a night refunded to us. The breakfast is continental and quite filling. Stayed for a wedding at the King Power Stadium and was very very close and veryvery close to the evening venue. Bed was good. So some good and some bad.

As a regular traveler and over-nighter with business I expect when I book two rooms for there to actually be a reservation for two rooms upon arrival. Despite having a confirmation emailed to me, upon check in, I have 1 room. Brilliant. Then kept waiting for 40 minutes whilst their inefficient and incapable staff try to remedy THEIR mix up. Every time we stay at this place, something goes wrong.

Not great room was really hot air con not working and when I mentioned it staff not interested. Plates for breakfast were very small, disappointing.

Very clean hotel, We were there only for a night. It was good for the purpose. Could not locate any restaurants nearby for dinner, Had to take a taxi to the city which approx 5 mins. Located right in front of the Football stadium.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Plenty of parking, next to the lcfc stadium and close to a cinema and restaurants. Didn't like the fact that I had to go to an ironing room to iron my clothes, give me a proper iron and board! Good breakfast but no bacon… However for free I can't complain! If I'm in the area I'll definitely be back.

Stayed on Saturday 3rd of June very noisy the beds are very uncomfortable mentioned to staff all they said nothing they could do. next time I will stay at a premier inn at least if u have a problem they sort it.

Bed was comfy and services was fine. However the shower produced little more then a drizzle and the air conditioning was noisy and clearly hadn't been serviced. The location of the hotel is good for the football stadium and is a half hour walk into town.

Excellent. Clean, functional and close to city centre. The staff were very helpful, especially Stavros who made a real fuss of my daughter as we checked in.
Thought I'd be missing out with no bacon for breakfast but as it happened we loved the items that were available, all fresh and constantly being refreshed… thank you, we will be coming back.

Stayed here at holiday inn express, Leicester, staff very helpful and polite. Lovely room and recommend to others to stay here, I will be going back in future with a few of us.

Brilliant place to stay if your visiting the King Power Stadium literally a stones throw away. Decent bar and really good staff.

Ideally situated for games at The King Power stadium, although you often find having to get pass the guards at the entrance as the car park is round the side of the hotel. Facilities are what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn Express, a bar but no food other then bar snacks. Room was clean, bedding was comfortable. Ideal for those only staying the one night. If staying longer you'd probably want to find somewhere that has a little more to offer on site. However don't let that take away what is an extremely well situated hotel that is very clean.

My husband and myself stay here offten and always enjoy are stay the rooms are spotless the staff are very helpful the only niggle is the breakfast is a bit basic but it's OK definitely will return.

Pleasant stay with decent view. Free breakfast was OK at best but it was free after all. Budget hotel worth the money that was paid for it.

Lovely hotel room, breakfast wasn't the best but still nice. The only slight issue was the lack of mirror by the dressing table making it difficult to get ready for a work party. But the staff were extremely helpful and approachable.

Rooms nice with comfy bed and good bathroom facilities, really not convinced by the so called 'liquid soap' as it looked like something you really shouldn't be putting anywhere near your face. The staff were pleasant and welcoming although didn't get offered any Wi-Fi? The weakest part of this hotel, by a mile is the breakfast, with everything being luke warm and really not looking appetizing at all.

Standard budget hotel. No evening meals in the hotel, but a 10 minute walk up the road brings you a choice of eating venues. Handy for the football ground. Has own car park.

It's a Holliday Inn! It does what it says on the tin, breakfast bit sparse but nice enough.
