Location is key: right by the bridge which crosses the railtracks to Preston Station. For travellers wanting a short transfer from the train, this is probably your best option. Fishergate apartments is a new refurbishment of an older property. I stayed in two rooms: the smallest single room, and a large 1 double bed apartment. The single is for the price sensitive: it's very small indeed & needs urgent remedial soundproofing work. The apartment is much better: it contains a good kitchen, dining & lounge area with views over the station, which I enjoyed. Booking and check-in is largely remote and people free. This works almost seamlessly — but still requires some supervision. There is a well maintained communal lounge and kitchen area which is a welcome addition to the serviced apartment model that others operate. The communal areas are clean and well maintained, although the front door interior needs its paint job finishing. I commend it.
The place was clean. However, I couldn't get a lot of channels on my bedroom t. V. And if you're over 6 feet, don't visit.

Amazing Customer Service, Right from the get go… The penthouse apartment was very spacious and incredibly clean. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm visiting Preston. I met the owner and he was very polite, Proffessional and helped with anything needed. Price is very good for the apartment you can get for the weekend. 5 star for sure! Thank you.
