The breakfast food wasn’t good. Only one bath & one hand towel for the two of us in a twin room? I don’t expect to have to ask. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. The room had little in natural light so quite dark. Building works going on we’re a little noisy. Clean room.

Great Premier Inn on the canal side. Chorley is a great wee town and very friendly. Visited here several times, totally love it!

Highly recommended. The setting of this hotel is beautiful backing on to the canal. Staff are incredibly helpful. We had a family room for 4 and it was super spacious. AC would have been nice in this heatwave but totally understand why there isn't any in the UK. The breakfast is to die for. Full English breaky and kids eat free is fantastic. Additionally, food at the attached Malthouse is very good (Sunday roast is mega) Out of 10, our stay was a 15!

Very good. Comfortable bed, decent shower and ample free parking. Pub next door really good for food all day and a lovely setting next to the canal.

As a premier Inn you know what you're getting with your room etc. I would say the staff here are very helpful and friendly and the attached bar is a popular eating location. Not my first stay and won't be my last, recommended.

Nice and quiet, poor phone signal on EE, which was bliss no work calls. Room as per standard Premier Inn, nothing fancy but all you need for a good night.

I stayed in a so called accessable room. However the facilities left a lot to be desired. The bed was very very low… my husband had to lift me up for me to get out of the bed. If a wheelchair user had wanted to transfer onto the bed they would have had to "plonk" themselves down… this is not aceptable at all! The mattress was "shot"… it rolled into the middle all of the time making sleeping impossible! The bathroom had a very very low sink (too low) with a very low bath with a couple of handrails. This is totally unacceptable… if you are in a wheelchair you have no chance to get in. A wetroom should have been available which suits everyone. The toilet had got adjustable hand rails around it and it was a little higher than a normal toilet, but not as high as in other disabled assessable rooms in other hotels. I will be contacting the head office with a very strong complaint.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The building was a little tired in places and the lift didn't work. The room was very clean and even had a shaver socket. Which is more than can be said about the newer hotels in there chain. Had a peaceful night after a meal in the pub next door. We will definitely be returning when we are back over there again.

Good quality accommodation. Unfortunately we experienced two noisy nights but the hotel staff have advised how to contact the head office to notify them. Great staff and easy parking. Overall quite good.

Great place to stay with the bonus of large rooms. Only down side is the water in the shower goes hot and cold!

Initially assigned a room right next to the car park, window within feet of vehicle exhausts, but upgraded us to a nicer, quieter room on request (nice view of canal). Generally fine and good value for money. One bath towel was visibly dirty, everything else was totally clean: probably an oversight by hotel staff. Reception desk sometimes unattended for extended periods during early evening hours without any obvious explanation.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was everything we expected and the breakfast at The Malthouse was amazing. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if needed.

Stayed here on quite a few occasions. The staff are very helpful and polite. The room we stayed in was very pleasant and overlooked the canal. Always enjoy our stay there.

Hi, Unfortunately due to the very bad weather I have been instructed that it would be too hazardous to travel from Somerset to Chorley. So my wife and I will have to cancel/amend the booking. I believe I can have a voucher that I can use over a 12 month period? Where can I get it from? We have been classed as being in a red zone and therefore should only travel if it's life or death. Surely this warrants a refund as it's an "act of God"? I look forward to your reply. So far the customer service is less that satisfactory, having waited over 46 mins to speak to someone I was told there would be no refund or amendment, no understanding or compassion! Great location and lovely room. Very friendly staff and helpful. Had a lovely meal in the pub next door used by the premier inn. Its a one minute walk to its front door. Close to the town and the Botany Bay shopping centre. Will be coming back.

Stayed last night, the room was lovely we ate at the Malthouse farm pub next door food was excellent and so was the breakfast, we will definitely be staying here again.

Room was belting. Very cozy and a great nights sleep. Disappointed with the breakfast at the malt house farm. Plates where dirty and cold. Food also cold and not well stocked. Certainly not worth the £8.99 each.

Very convenient for Chorley and area. Have stayed here several times and this stay was good as always. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped and there is plenty of parking. This is also a quiete location even though very close to the M61. Recommend asking for a room at the rear of the hotel as they overlook a canal and views are better than the car park. Malt House Farm pub and restaurant next door is pleasant place to eat and they serve really good food.

Older premier inn but apart from physical keys you wouldn't really know. Very friendly staff and nice restaurant next door, although it does get busy so booking was needed.

Nice clean Premier Inn, friendly and helpful staff. My room had nice view of canal behind the hotel, at least when I could see it in the morning! The attached pub resturant was good and very busy. Breakfast was a buffet all seemed nice and fresh.

Our room was great but had a problem with the shower. Thermostat keeps changing until water gets too hot and it burnt me twice every time I have to go for shower.

After spending 15 hours on the road I was praying that I would end up In a reasonably pleasant well priced hotel and boy was I surprised! This is a gem for premier inns. Great location by the canal with a cycle/footpath for a few miles right by the bar/restaurant. Superb standard of room for £70 with good chooce of beers and tasty fresh food and friendly attentive staff. Can't fault it tbh. 10/10 Premier. Well done and a big TY from me.

Comfortable, clean and cozy rooms. The venue is away from the noise, and the local pub is just around the corner. Great staff and good food.

Friendly staff and very helpful. Room was quite warm but appropriate equipment was provided to cool it down. Strong Wi-Fi and a good setup meant that time in the room was enjoyable for more than just sleeping.

Great place to stay, good restaurant nearby. Unfortunately was sent a text at 1 in the morning with my invoice for 0 pounds which disturbed my sleep. So not a good night sleep as promised.

Very comfortable rooms, clean and spacious too. Premier Inn beds are just amazing. Friendly staff, nice quiet location. Good beer garden right next door and a nice canal walk just behind the hotel. We'd happily stay here again.

A good Premier Inn and staff are very helpful. There is a pub/restaurant for meals, including breakfast. The only down side is there is no lift and Premier policy is to put single women on the second floor. I don't like asking for help with my suitcase, but it is hard with a lap top back pack, suitcase and handbag?!

We only checked in about 2 hours ago but the staff have been amazing. In particular Monica on reception. Monica has been so helpful and when we arrived she has kindly offered to tumble dry our wet clothes. Rooms are comfortable so all in all very good. However, I feel it would be a massive advantage to future customers who cycle if you could invest in a bike room and a drying room. We are having to store our bikes in the staff room which is not fair to staff. Of course they dont mind one bit but it would make so much sense given you are just off the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Potential to increase your appeal to cyclists.
