Cannot recommend New Holmwood enough Dave, and Mrs Dave and all the staff work tirelessly to give the best experience. Friendly and personable, considerate and thoughtful. Flew from Ireland to attend a wedding at the new hilmwood Hotel and the service was first class from when we stepped through the door.
we arrived late and even though the kitchen was closed, sandwiches and drinks were made for us. The wedding itself was brilliant and the food was superb! thank you for the brilliant weekend and thanks for the pint of guiness as well 😀 👍

I got married on 2nd october here at the new holmwood. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go anywhere else on their special day than here. David and his wife are absolutely amazing and everything went perfectly. We couldn't have asked for anything better. So again, thankyou so much! ❤

The staff could not have been more welcoming, particularly to my giant Irish Wolfhound puppy. Highly recommended.

Hotel was great with sea views and great location to explore the island. The staff was also great very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and room was great and would definitely recommend, if I return to Isle of Wight will definitely be going back 5⭐️xxx.

Good welcome friendly and informative staff on reception. Rooms were lovely giant sized bed and a lovely clean room with everything you need.

We’ve stayed here regularly on and off for the past 25 years and loved it every single time. A wonderful team, all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Superb food in a lovely restaurant, comfortable rooms and lots of areas to relax and simply sit. We love it. Thank you David, Kathy, Julian and everyone in the team for looking after us and making our stays so memorable.

Have been to my sons wedding and a birthday party as they were both brilliant. Would recommend them anytime. Loved it there.

A lovely meal. This was reasonably priced along with excellent service from the staff. Would recommend.

We had such a lovely stay. Arrived and immediately was upgraded from a standard room to a suite with sea view We had been travelling for a few hours and we're ready for a hot bath and quick change. Easily achieved before we drove into Newport for supper. About 15 mins away. Easy parking on our return we needed to scan some papers ready to email. Easily achieved with their help in the office. Thank you. Off to bed and a comfortable sleep. Quiet. Peaceful. Little touches of a bottled water and plenty of tea coffee on our room tray were welcome. Our first breakfast. The waiting staff are very attentive and fast Lots of choices freshly made and brought in a truce. We were attending several parties over the three days and cannot praise the hotel staff enough for their help and geniality. Would recommend absolutely. Oh I forgot to mention the sea views the proximity to Cowes and the bracing sea air. Wonderful.
