The place is nice, the hotel have a free parking and in the back of the hotel is a beautiful landscape. Nearby u can find shops petrol station and fastfood. The keycard for the room door doesn't work too good, so every day I had to renew the key at the front desk. In the hot days, in the rooms is too hot to sleep and the windows cannot be wide opened for security reasons. The air conditioning doesn't do anything but noise so u are trap like in a boiling box. It was so bad that I was thinking to go to sleep in the car…

My mum who is a wheelchair user couldnt get onto the bed very well the mattress was awful to sleep on. The staff were nice.

Staying here on business a couple of nights a week. The location is convenient for Royston. Although it's next to the A1 it's not noisy and you can get straight onto lovely country lanes for a cycle ride. The rooms are a good size and the shower is spacious and strong. Everything is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. What more could you want? It's far and away the best value in the area.

The location is good being close to the A1m and the A10 without being so close that it is overly noisy. I didn't stay here cannot comment on the accomodation side. The site has a good variety of food offerings like all service areas.

Really disappointed with the food today. Took the inlaws for a meal suggesting that the food was great (as it had been before), but after a fairly long wait it arrived luke warm. The food was cooked and presented at a standard below what I was expecting. I ordered the rib eye steak medium rare which arrived medium well done with a tepid, blue cheese sauce and a stone cold grilled tomato. The rest of the party also expressed disappointment with their meals. A below par experience. Hopefully a one off!

Have been staying here a few times a year for the last, 12 years. Always clean, staff friendly, good Wi-Fi and great services near by.

Bathroom stinks of urine no matter how long you have the loud fan on. It clings in your throat and stings your eyes. Asked housekeeping for a mop and bucket with some bleach which was useless as she was polish and couldn't understand what I was trying to say. Asked for clean towels and just got left the pile of dirty ones because she couldn't understand me. I got a single bed which had noisy springs that squeaked just through breathing. I had bite marks around my upper body after sleeping the night in the bed. I didn't see anything though so can't say what they were from. There's a noodle bar at the moto extra next door so that's a bonus!

Went to KFC. Didn't have to wait long even though the place was very busy. Enjoyable meal.

Its okay, no more than that. Room was acceptable, bed side table was broken however. Rooms have everything you'd need for an overnight stay, they just look a bit dated and in need of a bit of freshening up. Would recommend for a place to lay your head for 1 night, not sure about much longer than that.

A really nice service area for a stop off en route. A good choice of eating outlets including McDonald's, KFC, Pattiserie Valerie, Starbucks, W H Smith and M&S. Recommended.

Ideal for a quick break excellent selection of fast food outlets only downside is the parking is not great.

Stayed here after a night out. Location was really good and walkable from where we ate. Room was comfortable and well stocked. Really comfy bed! Staff were helpful and we didn't need to call on them at all other than checking in.

Not bad hotel, staff are friendly and rooms reasonably comfortable for the price. Few rats seen running around outside but they will be because of the services right next door.

Staff were helpful and polite. Room was good for the price. We had a double bed and two single beds which were perfect for a family of three. Toilet, shower and sink were clean.

Staff great. Room awful in desperate need of upgrading. Cracked sink, awful smell from the drains and the bathroom in need of major upgrade. Carpets and chair stained. I won't be back unless the company spend money on what matters.

I only used it for a 45minit brake and the toilet there is KFC big Mac M&S whsiths and others.

Used the hotel for a meeting. Facilities quite basic but very affordable and clean. Staff very helpful and served a nice coffee!

Staff are excellent rooms a bit dated and you have yo bang the door to shut. You can hear people shutting doors. A bit pricey in my view. But I would stay again.

This is a well presented Inn, clean and pleasant to visit. There is a playground on premise for the kids to stretch their legs! Professionally, it was well staffed. Food and drink was decent. Would definitely use them again for meetings and consider a stay.

Stay was ok. Bathroom needed updating. Cleaners were quite loud in the morning and bed was a little soft. Good location and amenities next door though.

Service at the front desk was good! Friendly receptionists and always willing to help. The room was dated and dirty. There were loads of stains on the chairs in the room. Dead insects splattered on the wall! Dirty toilet seat with a brown stain on it and hairs in the shower! I would never stay at this hotel again due to how dirty it was!

Stayed for 1 night while working. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy and staff were friendly. I didn't use any of the other facilities on site.

You could hide out here for months, nipping across to the McDonalds under cover of darkness for a bit of dinner, only finally giving in when the inevitable morbid obesity results in you actually collapsing every time you get up, thanks to the poor nutritional value of the only dietary option your — frankly misguided — self-imposed exile permits. Just give it up why don't you? It's not worth it mate, just turn yourself in now. Get a lighter sentence, save money on the hotel bill and you'll get a better diet in prison into the bargain.

Stopped for a bite to eat on route to Cambridge. Huge selection of food types available ranging from Mexican to burgers. The addition of a Marks enabled a dinner purchase for when I got home that evening. There is also an outdoor kids play area to keep the little ones amused. All in all a pleasant place to stop for some grub.

Receptionist welcoming and efficient. Room spotless and everything cateted for from refreshments to Wi-Fi to extra pillows. Location great and facilities nearby good. Will deff be using again.

Good experience, nice clean room, well decorated. Bed a bit hard, though personal preference I suppose. Easy check in/out, with gold basic services and amenities in the rooms. No bar, though alcohol available and right next to services … which was slightly loud, but not by the fault of days inn. Basic but decent breakfast options available.

Standard services hotel. The room had everything that was necessary but didn't have any character. Also the room was very hot and made it really uncomfortable to sleep, with no air conditioning.

Booked an "accessible" room. Felt like the bare minimum had been done to qualify for being called "accessible" as it wasn't particularly! Also has specifically asked if the room was a double or a twin as shock horror, disabled people do have sex and double beds are much more comfortable for that sort of thing than a single bed!

Not a bad hotel. Would have been nice to have been told about using the key card to turn the lights on. Never encountered this at a hotel. We had booked an accessible room. Yes the would could get into the room while in her wheelchair. But there was not an accessible bath/shower. This should have been at least a wet room. Or enquire about the individuals needs when they book. I booked over the phone. Could have asked then what out requirements are. For me I've paid for a room that we could not use the facilities.

Decent rooms. Bit dated but very good value. Rooms are very big. Staff are nice.

Great value and good location But have booked a smoking rooms and it's not too pleasant. Will know better next time. Staff friendly and good sized room but wireless could do with a boost.

The air conditioning was intermittent across the hotel when meant it felt like we were sleeping in a hot country. We couldn't wait to check out in the morning! The bed was lumpy as well, luckily it was just an overnight stay.

One of the best of the Days Inn chain I've visited. Dog friendly at no extra charge. If you want to eat I'd recommend a 5 minute drive to the Two Brewers at Stotfold.
