Room very clean and bed comfortable. However, bathroom needs some renovation (the shower though working was an trickle). Additionally, the room I had was at the front of the property. The late night revealers departing the nearby bars along with traffic meant that sleep was difficult to achieve. If you're a motorbiker, there is no secure parking (in fact no on-site parking) and the only place I did find was by the bins. Wi-Fi worked well though. For me, not worth a second visit.

Decent rooms for a low price. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious. Showers were hot and had good pressure and the location is pretty central. Only real gripes were the lack of staffing on the bar and we had very noisy neighbours who we could hear talking until 4 in the morning but that isn't necessarily the hotels fault.

Beware of front facing bedrooms, very noisy road with taxi rank, great breakfast.

I had a Strongbow dark fruit as did my friends. Great prices on drinks as far as we could tell. Staff were not particularly friendly but certainly not rude. The drink took quite a while to pour but tasted the same as ever. It was quite quiet although there was something slightly askew with the atmosphere in comparison to other Hereford pubs. We thought about having food there but the menu was very small so we decided to eat elsewhere. Overall a decent experience.

Hotel is quite an old building so lots of squeaky stairs and steps, although rooms were well furnished and clean with comfy beds. A number of sections within the hotel were 'restricted access' which made me as a customer feel untrusted. Overall good location and a place to stay for the evening.

Tried to speak to them on the phone and they instantly put the phone down. Very rude.

Bit disappointing. Lots of youngsters around and very limited menu so we had a drink and left.

Good. The waiter was most helpful and pleasent. The food was average.

They go into your room but dont change towels even when put into bath as stated for clean ones, dont reload facilities after staying for more than one night. You have to go get them to be served at bar as they sit playing on computer in another room when watching you on cctv waiting. Very poor.

Between 2005 — 2015 … Proper food cooked by proper Chefs, a rarity these days. Local real ales at sensible prices. The staff are fabulous — can't fault any of the above.

Very good food and bar. The staff are polite rooms are clean and very nice. Would definitely recommend a room here and would like to stay again.

Took over not so long ago, decorating improvements are under way. Such a lovely big bar and great food and restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great family run business.

Only popped into the bar. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

24th October 2015 at 4 ish l checked in this hotel we dropped our bags in the room went out came back to the room it was clean but so out dated and horrible the toilet flush didn't work tried running a bath the shower was working at the same time well trying to run it water wasn't hot enough at all the heat was on but it got to hot in the room we couldnt even turn it down because the dial was broken off tried opening the window but it wouldn't stay up on its own so we had to folded up 2 cushions under it just to get some air in the room in the room 1 of the bed side lamp didnt even work the bed hard and uncomfortable by 23.07 l left this hotel because l was very unhappy and had enough will be ringing up first thing in the morning to try and sort it out it was that horrible l took photos very 1 unhappy customer.

Rubbish and very poor service. Cheched our bags in at 2 and told we were too early to check in to our room, only to be called at 9.30 saying if we didn't check in within the next 30mins we would loose out room. No flexibility and no customer service. Avoid this hitel and let's hope it shuts down soon (or gets taken over by a manager who knows about customer service)

We go here for a Sunday roast sometimes. We enjoy I and it slightly different to other restaurants. Cost is good too. I would say about £12 per head would be average.

Great hotel in the centre of town. Lovely to go somewhere and feel looked after and valued as a customer. Great spot to meet up with friends for an informal get together especially when the sun is shining. Will be back, especially for sunday lunch.

"Family room" overlooks a dodgy and loud nightclub, which I didn't see on the internet. A shower/bathroom with mildew in the grouting didn't help and the broken toilet seat wasn't too nice either. Maybe if staff understood the difference between tea and coffee it would have been better. They couldn't help the gas board digging up outside at 3am, but the response to my email almost suggested I was rude to mention this. Avoid.

Don't bother food and staff appalling. H ow do they stay in business.

Staff and food amazing very nice and help full. Does need updating now as carpets upstairs wearing a little. Very close to city centre.
