The Ship Inn Hotel

Came down from Yorkshire for a wedding and stayed here for 2 nights. Good value, great food and fantastic service. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again the next time I’m in the area.

We walked in late (half an hour roughly before the kitchen closed) and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They sorted a meal out for me very swiftly ensuring it was gluten free as well. Hubby enjoyed the local beer. Not sure if they allow children in but there were none there so it was nice and quiet! Clean, tidy and extremely comfortable. Will definitely be going back while we are in the area.

My husband and I both agreed we have never had a better breakfast on both days in any other B&B we have stayed in.

Ate in here yesterday 18/7/18 food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful all in all excellent, will def be back next year.

Stopped 4 nights while working away and felt really at home. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms made my stop really enjoyable.

Went there by chance, had a really good meal and a good pint in a good pub, we'll go again.

Really lovely pub, amazing food. The staff were so helpful and friendly and even provided dog treats for my wee dog.

Good food and service. Warned there might be delay with the food, 25 minutes. But food takes a while to cook! But it was considerate, if we were in hurry.

Stopped off on the way home from Bournemouth for something to eat.
We were served by a young man who could not do enough to make sure we had a good experience!

Very nice pub and people but poor b&b. Broken lock in toilet doors & dirty floor. I think it's a big issue they give you just continental breakfast and taking advantage of you asking for extra 6£ for an English breakfast in place like tavern.

Roast dinner was absolutely fantastic, one of the best Sunday dinners you'll find in Hampshire!

We went in for a Sunday Roast and had the chicken which was amazing, but our puddings were a bit of a let down. My sister had chocolate fudge cake which needed to be a bit warmer and gooey er and the apple tart tasted good but was a very small portion.

We spent our Xmas break there in 2017. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The crew members were very nice and helpful. Sylvia and Gerald are very welcoming captains. The breakfast had good variety ad the full English is very tasteful. We had our dinner from the house special and was the best food in the area. Harvey the dog is a real treasure in the Ship.

Brilliant would highly recommend this place rooms clean and tidy staff where great Food was absolutely amazing, will be staying here again.

This place is amazing. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The Inn is warm and has loads of atmosphere. The food. I was amazed! My wife & I agreed this was the best restaurant meal we'd ever had. The breakfast, next morning was out of this world. Well done George & Sylwia, you have a great team there!

This is the 2nd time we've eaten at the Ship Inn and the food, staff and service is 5 star. The food is well cooked, well presented and best of all delicious. Probably the best pub food in the area. Eat there and you will want to go back the menu is brilliant. Well done the Ship Inn.
